Have to admit I love both, though the Stone looks whiter than it does on my screen when I look at it in the Apple website store.
Yes the stone is certainly brighter than I thought it would be. I have a fog now too that I think I like more, as it seems like it's a little more versatile.

Now I'm thinking of the Royal blue woven nylon band.

I've been wanting to purchase a space black AW but I'm struggling to buy one manufactured after August 15. Apple must have enough stock back ordered and manufactured for current supplies.
The problem I'm having is that any I purchase now will have six month old battery's in them.

The 38mm screen is barely usable if you have average-sized fingers. IMO it also just looks cheap/silly on guys. Unless you're petite.
Equally so does a large. To the pic in question- yes it looks far too large. The idea that 38mm is for girls is just wrong and old fashioned.

42mm Apple original Midnight Blue Classic buckle. It's gorgeous with butterfly watch face which often appears blue and purple butterfly.

I never said the 38mm is just for girls.

Every time I see the 38mm on an average build guy, I think both the style and him look cheap, as if he couldn't afford bigger. Unless he's petite, then it looks fine. That's my opinion, so.

How does it look like he is cheap? Because of £50? Your logic and mind are flawed. Some people prefer small watches. Maybe try opening your mind a little because you are talking utter nonsense.

Ok, some people prefer smaller watches, that's fine. I never said I have anything against other people's preferences.

I still think it looks silly on a guy with an average build regardless. You can get whatever watch size or color or style you want, but if you're not petite and you're wearing the 38mm, I'm going to still think it doesn't look good/looks cheap.

Likewise, maybe you should open your mind a little to other people's opinions.

i am open but your dictating who should wear what irritates me.

Good, then you ought to realize I am not dictating. I am only speaking my opinion. If you don't want to read it, move along, or filter.

Do you think my watch looks small on me? I'm 6'1, in good shape and wrist 194cm. I tried on a 42mm and it just looked so bulky, for me the choice was 38mm. I respect your opinion but I only replied based on your initial post. I'll stand by that buying image.jpeg image.jpeg 38mm doesn't mean the customer just bought to avoid paying extra.
Anyway.....back to Space Black related stuff!

Well you probably already know my opinion. I just think it'd look way better as a 42mm. To be perfectly honest I give zero sh#%s if someone thinks my watch looks big on me. I have no regrets or doubts about the size I chose. I am the one wearing it and I enjoy every second of it, so someone else's opinion means absolutely nothing to me.

Carry on

I bought the 38 SS black sport band and got it delivered on launch day, along with my girlfriend's SS white "Tim Cook Special"lol. I knew instantly I decided wrong, searched all over on Craigslist. Paid overprice for a SS Milanese 42 the very next day.

I wear the Milanese and it's band wraps all the way around, meaning any wrist smaller, it wouldn't fit.
I'm a guy, 6'2, 150. I'm not saying small watches aren't correct for some people. Most nice mechanical watches are "smaller". With the square screen and what this device is used for, the 42 seems what anyone would want. It's what the apps are written for and nobody wants to scroll more.
[doublepost=1463382637][/doublepost]I don't think the 42" would be too big for most. Have you seen that Motorola watch?! Lmao flat tire pos

I can't wait to see what Apple has up their sleeve. No pun intended.

Got a Clockwork Synergy regular NATO strap with matching PVD adapters and buckle for around $20. So far it's felt very comfortable and I really like it with the space black.

Posted this in another thread...I just recently replaced my stainless steel with a space black (went swimming with the SS, turns out the watches are not as waterproof as you'd believe!)

Now all my bands are for the ss, so a few I'll sell but I thought I'd attempt replacing the adaptors on the saddle classic buckle, and painting the buckle myself in gloss black

Did you try swimming with the black SS? If so, what happened?

ha! no not yet, although oddly enough after a week the SS dried out enough and started working again! Now have a SS and a SSSB !

Oh, so the thing didn't end up messed up aesthetically? Something just happened on the inside?

If you're really interested in that kind of activity, Catalyst makes a waterproof case. Probably what I would do if I could swim ;)
