To pick it up at the ups store, I believe you can just call ups. Or wait until 6pm or so when the trucks get back

I was one of the first hour orders and still no tracking number on my 64GB from Sprint. But, each day the "date last updated" part changes to the current day.
And the authorized charges were finally settled yesterday, which assumably indicates the items have shipped.
I bet the bottleneck here is going to be Sprint's systems supplying us with tracking numbersI know that a couple million more pieces to deliver isn't a big deal for FedEx or UPS.
As a new customer who hasn't gotten an e-mail saying anything about shipping or account activation, I called Sprint up. The guy I talked to gave me an order number (more than what I had!) and told me where to type it in. Still no tracking number but at least it tells me "the equipment has shipped and/or the activation is complete."
As a longtime customer of Sprint, I feel you should know that 90% of the time their customer service has no idea what the hell they're talking about.
I still check the status religiously but feel like realistically nothing will change until Thursday.

I feel like a complete stalker I check the order several times a day using the "oy" order number and "dm60" in hopes that I will find out something!! I ordered my iPhone5 16gb in white at 6:35pm EST and by all accounts I know in my brain it will probably take 2 weeks for me to get it; however I would feel better if I knew for definite one way or the other and that is where I think the sprint system I lacking. This is my first pre-order with sprint and I can honestly say that the communication about the order status literally sucks.. Had I known this would be an issue I would have ordered directly from apple.... Ugh!as do i

Yes! If I get my phone by Friday, I would be happier than a kid at christmas .... I preordered with Verizon for the iPhone 4 when it first came out and I do not remember the anticipation being this high for it to come. But I do remember the phone showed up like a day or so earlier than I expected. So I am hoping we will at least get them by Friday... I can't wait to see some sprint people with tracking numbers!!!It's a trade off really. I mean Apple.com was sold out in an hour, so by the time you ordered, I wouldn't be surprised if it'll be more than 2 weeks away. So you are going for the chance of getting it earlier and IMO it's worth it.
these days we expect any online order to give us enough information so we can obsess about it the whole trip to you. we can argue whether it's a good thing or bad thing. but for me the truth is, as long as it gets to me on release day, I have no complaints.
