Two quick questions: Since this thread is about preordered Sprint iPhones, does that imply that everyone here ordered through Sprint rather than through the Apple website?
I preordered from the Apple site late on Friday (around 11:30pm EST), and my status is still in "Preparing for Shipment." I've checked UPS and FedEx and neither of them has my phone yet.
Secondly, the e-mail I got from Apple confirming my order says "As soon as your iPhone ships, we'll send you additional information, including your phone number." Does this mean they assigned me a new phone number (which would also explain why I can't find a shipment through UPS or FedEx), or is this a canned e-mail that they send to everyone? Reeeeally don't want a new number...![]()
There is a thread dedicated to ordering through apple.com, you might have better luck finding answers there. I'm pretty sure this is mostly sprint.com orders here.
