Just did a live chat, no luck on returning launch day iPhone 8+. Maybe since its so late, ill try different people tomorrow.
You have to be on the Sprint flex or iPhone forever plan for 12 months in order to switch from the 8 to the X. So if you weren’t on that program before you got the 8 you won’t be able to upgrade.

I was! I'm on iPhone forever. I bit the bullet and bought it from Apple.com It will come activated on my number then ill just give my GF my 8+.

Yeah but Sprint's covers water damage, loss, and theft. AppleCare+ doesn't as far as I know.

Yep. It's iPhone Forever.

Nope. They told me the phone traded in has to be completely paid off, period.

Well not sure why your getting the sh*t end of the stick smh, posted pics and all showing I could upgrade at 12 months, and I got the deal without paying it off..... but like I stated before, on iPhone forever? (From years ago) and higher payments by like 5$? Who knows, I tried.

I’m also going to try calling about the $350 deal, but I’m not sure I was on iPhone forever as it never said that on my bill, but we were leasing and I’m fairly certain we had 12 months of the 7+ this month.

Nowhere on the deal details does it say you need to be on iPhone Forever lease program to qualify.
They are bringing all the “forever” (iPhone/Galaxy) lease programs, as well as the 2 year options under one unifying title called FlexPay. Which is an 18 month program with option to upgrade after one year.
Admittedly, all the documentation I’ve seen this cycle does not all jive with same verbiage, but with recent conversations I’ve had with executive team and the fact there are only the FkexPay options avaialble to lease the X kind of bears this info out.

They are literally not budging. I'm not so sure how you got so lucky but they are saying we have to OWN the phone to get the $350 off. I have called twice same response.
Has to be the 64GB version as well. The 256GB version is not applicable for discount.

Just wondering if anyone who has been trying the last few days (outside the posters on here who gave us the heads up on the deal) have been recently successful in getting sprint to confirm the $350 deal works for phones that are not owned by current customers of sprint. I still have had no luck and everywhere I look and everyone I talk to says the device must be paid off. I am thinking maybe this was a loophole that sprint caught onto and no longer will accommodate for people who are trying to do so now.
