This is good for two reasons. And this is coming from an Apple Shareholder

1) It shows apple what happens when you give people lots and lots of time to think about their purchase after placing an order for a higher tiered and expensive first launch product.

2) Gets another of these watches out of que so it helps someone else who is holding fast get theirs sooner.

A statement would make me feel better. It would at least acknowledge that they realize that people are anxious for delivery. I agree that unless they start missing the dates given at ordering, there is no reason to be upset at them. Sometimes we just need a little reassurance.

I don't even... what? "sometimes we just need a little reassurance."?!?!?!?!? What?

Ships in 4-6 Weeks...

This is the START of the 4th week - so technically 3 weeks have gone by. I am optimistic that we may see some movement this week. You have to believe that Apple really wants to get their flagship versions out into the general public to further promote more sales.

It is VERY possible that orders will begin to move this week - possibly for an early delivery.

We have not been forgotten. Here is to hoping we start getting charges/shipping updates within the next couple of days...but the good news is - if another week goes by with no updates or changes - the 13th is just around the corner, and I truly believe that SOME people will definitely get theirs on or by the 13th.

If you are in the June range - hold fast - but I am certainly glad I am not one of you.

xx:03 email confirmation - apple pay - apple store app on iphone 6+ - watch was favorited for fast ordering.

I tweeted to Tim Cooks asking him about the black space watch, no word.

*yawn* Do some people still have nothing better to do with their lives than come on here and moan about a non-issue. I've always been told I'm an impatient person, but even I can't believe some of the posts on this forum.

Honestly, you'd think Apple had robbed them of their money and disappeared overnight. Where as the reality is they haven't lied, they haven't mis-informed you and they haven't missed their delivery dates. Sure they could have mentioned it earlier instead of just putting dates up when the store went live, but as fas as I can see that's their only short coming.

Seriously folks, go out, get laid, get a hobby, do something that will take your mind off it. It's a watch FFS!!:rolleyes:

It's seems that others have nothing better to do than tell other people to "calm down" "it's only a watch" "get a life", yada, yada, yada. If you find it so annoying, then I suggest you hang out in a different forum.

Yeah funny enough most people thought this was a thread for shipping updates and status for the Space Black model.

Or even the link bracelet at all right? I was under the impression the sport can only do sport bands? Is this right?

No it can link to any band technically, it just doesn't look very good. The leather loop looks fine though since it doesn't have a metal attachment piece.

Nope - the regular stainless link bracelet is available for purchase http://store.apple.com/us/product/MJ5J2/42mm-link-bracelet - just the black one that isn't available as a separate purchase.
All bands are interchangeable - you can take the band off of $17000 apple watch and put it on the Sport ;)

Hope this helps!

1. It is just a watch. People need to stop acting like world war 3 is about to kick off just because they don't have theirs yet.

2. Yes, people who post about not having their watch 15 times a day do need to get a life. There are better things to do in this world than sit and cry about not having your watch yet.

3. As for calming down, see point number 2

4. I visit this forum to keep up to date with what's going on, if people want to bitch and moan they should start a separate thread for that, it's not what this thread was intended for.

5. Before you come back and say "well why are you posting on here about people complaining, and you are no better than them blah, blah, blah" my simple answer to that is I made my post in the hope that people might stop said posts, because it's not constructive or useful. I come on here to find 10 new posts and only 1 of them isn't of someone complaining.

6. Not even going to respond if you come back with some kind of comment. Not worth any more of my time than this post.

Exactly, this isn't the "bitch and moan because I don't have my watch yet and now I hate apple and am going to throw my toys all over the place until I get it" thread.

Despite that fact that we all waiting for our watches I have some questions about charging and shipping times.

Does Apple typically charge like a week early before shipping? Or perhaps days? And when they do charge, does the watch usually ship within the next day or so? I wonder if all of the orders are expedited. Meaning, next day.

And I apologize for so many questions. I don't order much from Apple so I'm unaware of how they typically work.

Reassurance, as in an Apple statement showing some empathy.

empathy with what? You logged on to their store, they provided a shipping range, you placed an order. What other reassurance do you want? They sent out an email to customers saying that they were working on their orders and people melted down, calling it an email of death... What is there to empathize with? You'll get your watch in the date range they provided. A pat on the head won't change that.

It'll still have the metal bits that connect it to the watch body - and they won't match the colour.

Do you mean the leather loop? Because from what I can tell it doesn't have metal bits, it snaps in like the sport band.

Usually if you get charged, the order will ship that day or the next. Orders so far have been next day air.

Whoops, you're right - they coated the connector in the leather as well - my bad.

Nope no worries. I may eventually get the black leather loop depending on what kind of bands come out later.

But you can't buy the black link bracelet.
i don't recall saying i was going to replace it with a link bracelet. i will likely replace it with a rubber band similar to the sport band but one with a classic buckle style. 3rd party.

Oh...ok.

I do agree they look similar, but after having a sapphire crystal watch face, I can never go back. They are almost indestructible when worn as a typical watch, and I want the resale value to be high so I can purchase the :apple:Watch 2 when it comes out, hopefully without needing to repurchase the black link band. There are a few assumptions here, but not unreasonable ones in my opinion.
