Stainless Steel Space Black Shipping Status

We each have individual preferences and make our choices. I have a SG Sport for running and a Space Black SS on order for work/dress, and am wondering if there is enough difference to justify the Black SS.

My plan B would be to get a SS with a leather band and wait on the reviews for the third party stainless link bands.

i was so excited about the link when i first started reading about it but after being put off by the long wait, of which i'm still convinced they didn't make any of them till after we ordered them, and seeing pictures someone else posted in the thread over the weekend that i just decided to cancel it and wait for my space gray. i guess i'll re-evaluate it in the future when AW2 comes out, if it comes out and look at getting one then but for now i think i am going to be just as happy with the sport as i could have been with the link.

Thanks for the feedback. Were you able to tell from the SB pictures how much of a shine the link bracelet has? I can't quite sort that out.
 
Still no movement on my SB Watch but my wife's 38mm Green SB is 'preparing for shipment' so hopefully this is the start of an exciting week !!

What do you mean "Green SB"? Space Black is only available with the black link band, not green.

Is this the green band on its own? If so, then hopefully my black sports band with space grey pin will move soon. Delivery was due between 30th April & 12th May.

When did I order !! Lol, on the 10th I'm in Aus and it was a phone order, I was speaking to a sales guy as it went live.

The band was ordered along with my wife's watch, my SB watch and a black S Band for mine on the 10th as it went live.
Unfortunately I'm sorry to say, my black S Band still says 'processing, I have also ordered the space grey pin

Lol, I did the ordering , she gets the goods and I get to wait !! Lol
Saying that it was my decision to wait for the SB and I'm sure it will be worth it in the end, it just doesn't seem that way at the moment :(

So I just spoke with a customer service representative online about the "June" delivery date and he said the Watches are shipping out earlier than the dates that were given. I asked him if that includes the space black stainless steel and he said yes. I also asked him for a date that they would be shipped by and he said June 1st. I hope this little bit of information addresses any concerns that you may have.

I appreciate that, but I think if Apple wanted to squash all of the shipping estimates out there, they'd be sending us all e-mail notifications. The CS rep you talked to may be right, but they may also be talking out of their Axx. :(

some pictures it looks shining others not so much. i have to say i'm disappointed in how it looks and am becoming more happy that i cancelled it.

if what you say is true then that pretty much confirms that they didn't make any black link bracelet watches until we ordered them, there is no way it took them that long to make them.
 
My wife and I have orders placed for the 42MM SB at Maxfields in LA, they're supposed to be getting them this week.
