Every time I see the "S" on my new iPhone, I'm going to think of Steve. You will be missed, Steve. Here's to the crazy ones.

I'm at a loss for words...Gone too soon...I just wish he could have stopped his reign on his own terms. You will be forever part of history books Steve. Thanks for being part of all of our lives. Looking back on yesterday's announcement, you can tell those guys were doing their damnedest to make it positive. It had to be extremely difficult for them. Go Apple!

Rest In Peace Steve, you brought so much pleasure to my life with your products and inspiration.

As a designer, I felt that there was finally a CEO who understood what great design could do and how it could it transform everyday products. He changed my life. As a designer, I always admired the greats - Saul Bass, Milton Glaser, etc. And I always put Steve in that same list. Not so much that he was a designer, but someone who respected design and used it wisely. He helped in so many ways in my career. He influenced me tremendously. He will be missed like no other.

He was a force that I doubt I will see again in my lifetime. A truly Renaissance man.

Rest In Peace Steve.

God Bless Steve Jobs

A visionary, is in heaven tonight. He is probably talking to Saint Peter about a few tweaks to the pearly gates. RIP Steve Jobs and may God bless you and your family.

What a shock, I randomly went to CNN on my iPad and read the headline and it was like a physical blow.

Steve was one of a very few true visionaries of our time especially when viewed on a global scale. He will be greatly missed.

Glad I have his biography on preorder. It will be nice reading about his life and honoring him forever.

This is probably the saddest day in computer history.

Agreed

The only thing since hearing that announcement that has given me one smile is looking at the page source over at apple.com

His name and years alive are titled as "t_title"
And the photo of Steve is titled as "t_hero"

What a company :)

He was a hero :apple:

This hurts. I owe alot to him. Great mind great man great contribution. I miss him.

I am so saddened by this news :( I don't even know what to say... :'(

Thanks for revolutionizing the way we do things in our lives, Steve. I will miss you.

President Barack Obama
Michelle and I are saddened to learn of the passing of Steve Jobs. Steve was among the greatest of American innovators - brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it.

By building one of the planet’s most successful companies from his garage, he exemplified the spirit of American ingenuity. By making computers personal and putting the internet in our pockets, he made the information revolution not only accessible, but intuitive and fun. And by turning his talents to storytelling, he has brought joy to millions of children and grownups alike. Steve was fond of saying that he lived every day like it was his last. Because he did, he transformed our lives, redefined entire industries, and achieved one of the rarest feats in human history: he changed the way each of us sees the world.

The world has lost a visionary. And there may be no greater tribute to Steve’s success than the fact that much of the world learned of his passing on a device he invented. Michelle and I send our thoughts and prayers to Steve’s wife Laurene, his family, and all those who loved him.
That's freaking beautiful.

I just got home from work, short time ago and as every day, check Apple sites for news:apple:

Very sad about this news:(:( For me not normally feel affected by the death of famous people - and it's because I don't care, it's because they're so far removed from everyday, common life it's like they're merely products in and of themselves. Not so right now; Steve has had a profound impact on my life, apple products has always been special to me as he showed as to " think different"
