This is his legacy...

"This is what we believe, technology alone is not enough. Faster, thinner, lighter, those are all good things, but when technology gets out of the way, everything becomes more delightful even magical…"

RIP Steve Jobs

Just watched some of his best keynotes. It doesn't even seem real that there will never be another one. He was a master showman.

Steve's work ethic, attention to detail, & ability to think ahead of his time will inspire me for the rest of my own life. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

He will be missed. I didnt know him personally of course, but he made my life better for his work. Sad day for everyone, the world lost a great man.

He will forever be memorialized in the wonderful, amazing, devices and etc that he brought to us.

I just noticed that Amazon.com has something up to him, near the top right of the homepage.

One of the few CEO's that actually took the time and cared enough to personally communicate with not only his customers, but often his most ardent critics. He never really seemed like a corporate CEO to me, but more like a young man that enjoyed being a part of the community that he served and never took himself too seriously. And for all this we are all better to have had the opportunity to share in his creations and enthusiasm. He will truly be missed. And it's not often that you can say that about just any CEO.

Thank you Steve. May his family find the strength and comfort that they deserve.

What a legacy he will leave behind.

RIP.

Condolences to his family. The world has lost one of the greatest thinkers and innovators of our time, like him or not. Very sad news and a great loss.

My throat is in a knot, my heart hurts and my eyes are filled with tears, it's hard to swallow. There's nothing I can type or say that can express the deep sadness I feel. You will be missed by the masses!

For all we know, Steve has been up and at it all this time nothing stopping him. As healthy as someone who has been through what he has can be.

And then last night, after sending a text confirming plans to meet for 18 holes and lunch at the club, he kissed his family good night, climbed into bed, fell asleep and had an unexpected heart attack that no one saw coming.

And I disagree that Tim or Phil or anyone else looked horrible. They looked like themselves being themselves. Neither man is known for being big and loud and bouncing around making noise. You want that, go watch Steve Ballmer. You'll get more than you ever wanted.
Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers!

:apple: And one more thing...We'll always remember you Steve Jobs for everything you've done for the tech world. You've forever changed the world through inspiration, innovation, and teaching us all a new way to live our lives. Your legacy will live on forever. :apple: RIP Steve...you'll truly be missed. :(

I thank you Steve Jobs for being the pioneer that you were. For living true to your spirit. For the sense of wonder you have brought the world. For bringing people closer together. For instilling life into ideas and products. For changing the world. You will be missed dearly, and may your life be celebrated for generations to come.

RIP Steve you were a true technical icon, a genius. I only wish you had more time for yourself and your family at the end. :(

Nobody was ever satisfied with his products., we just wine and cry about how this is not so good and all the things that were missing. Do you not think this hurt him beyond belief?

We were always unsatisfied and we were always bitching about something.

He read everything and the pain killed him.

Steve did as Steve wanted. In life and in how he did things at Apple. He didn't give rat's butt about the tiny little percent that whined and moaned on sites like this about what they didn't get and threatened to run off to something else.

To say that "nobody" was ever satisfied is BS. Plenty of folks were. From reviewers down to the millions that bought stuff and thousands that did so repeatedly.

The only pain that killed him was from having cancer and perhaps organ rejection. Maybe a heart attack.

He will forever be memorialized in the wonderful, amazing, devices and etc that he brought to us.

so does google

I think Obama put it best:
there may be no greater tribute to Steve’s success than the fact that much of the world learned of his passing on a device he invented.

May you rest peacefully, Steve. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Tonight I'm turning the iToys and Macs off in remembrance

Hopefully Steve becomes a role-model for youngsters as what American creativity and intelligence can do.
Thanks Steve for not bowing down to the commands of others and doing what you felt was the right path for yourself you have touched how the WORLD communicates and how a company can be run respectfully and still be making mad cash.

Thank you, Steve...

I cannot imagine my life without your influence. As an artist, writer, videographer and photographer, you have made my creativity more effective and in some cases possible. You democratized entire industries and art-forms. You allowed many of us to dream larger than we could have before Apple and its software development partners cracked open door after door and let us in.

Thank you for the very first time I sat down in front of an SE/30 at college and felt myself pulled forward into my life. You and your company have brought me great joy.

My best to your loved ones and family
