Read your posts. You said the only reason I wasn't seeing an Up to Date message was because of all the people that were checking for the update right before the time it usually drops and had nothing to do with the fact that Apple was readying the OTA downloads. If that were the case, then why didn't the same thing happen today before the usual time? I'm sure there were just as many people checking for the update as a couple of weeks ago, yet the Up to Date message showed right after a couple of seconds of searching.
I actually agree with this. Stands to reason they'd release the beta 4 once the servers are reloaded. No reason to rob themselves of much needed feedback.
And that's assuming the beta was going to be released today originally, which we don't even know if that was the plan to begin with.
It's different for everyone. Mine was slow on a few and fast on others. Plus, less people probably bothered to check because they didn't think it would come out due to the hacking.
Well this much we know for sure. Arguing and going back and forth about it won't make it get here any faster. Would you rather us just say, "You're right."? So what?
Well mine has been consistently the same for all betas in iOS7. I doubt most people who have the beta (non debs) knew much about the hacking, so they probably still checked just based on history. I just think the behavior of the search is different when Apple is in the process of enabling the OTA downloads.
Carrier tests are usuAlly reported before beta releases , no?

I don't think he was arguing with you, just stating something that others have also said before (including me) that there is no guarantee we were going to see beta 4 today regardless of the hacking.

Didn't Betas 4+ of the other iOSs come out three weeks after Beta 3 did?
On iOS 6, beta 3 lasted 21 days but beta 2 also last 20 days. Beta 4 lasted 37 days.

My favorite part of this argument is that both sides have no knowledge of their point of view. The ones saying it should have come out have no idea, and the ones ripping those guys apart for thinking that it might be released today have no idea.
Really guys? Can we just speculate together and not fight back and forth with no actual facts to back up EITHER side of the story.
