I have not seen any download link in my ACD page.... Perhaps they don't give it for free to ACD student member anymore huh...

They just forgot us after the betatesting. No ADC member at the moment have access to leopard GM.

a frustrated developer & apple addicted.

Stid.

Just get it for $69!

Just buy it for $69 @ your University bookstore!

That's what I did!:D

Has anyone heard anything new regarding this? I've keep checking to see if they've made it availabe on the ADC Downloads page, but no luck yet... I'm thinking we won't see it to download for a couple days...?

Hmm...so what are we supposed to do with the Leopard kernel Debug kit if we don't have access to Leopard itself? Hopefully they'll update it sometime later tonight with the download

Ah never mind, silly me looking in the leopard dev center. I found it.

What membership do you have? I have the student one. New downloads keep appearing -- Xcode, Java, Kernel debug kit, etc... but no Leopard!

Select Membership - it appear only in the What's New section, login via standard dev, not in the leopard starter kit area.

I'm not seeing it in the download section either :( Can someone provide a link?

Thanks,

Mark

That's because you have a Student membership - the Student membership is not promised Leopard.

A new student developer is still promised "the current version of Mac OS X and Xcode via mail along with download access to the latest Xcode updates" on this page. So someone in the UK or East Coast could order now and reasonably expect it (though strictly only by mail).

It's too bad that apple that isn't allowing students to download leopard. Really, there really shouldn't be any reason to restrict downloads if they are going to send it anyway via mail.

Maybe they figure that students are more likely than other developers to seed Leopard as a torrent? And giving students an already digital copy makes that process even easier??? I dunno....

All I do know is I want my Leopard!

Just got this e-mail from Apple. I guess this means that student developers do get Leopard!!
