Super Mario Galaxy

I didn't realise how un-thin my Wii collection was until I came back with Galaxy and Fire Emblem and realised I was out of spaces in my disc holder. Up over 20 games now...a couple duds in the bunch (Alien Syndrome) but most good and a surprising amount of great ones in there too.

So whats up? I tried to get this game today and they told me it wasn't coming out until tomorrow or wednesday.... but the release date I've seen everywhere is today. What gives? Where can I get this?
 
I don't know about you guys but my local shop just gave me a call and he told me he have a copy of Galaxy, AC, Mass Effect(I wonder if he got it from kmart) with my name on it...I'm going to pick Galaxy and AC up tonight...don't know about ME but I'm tempted to.

I checked at my local Gamestations and Games. Turns out pre-orders have been filled up, but they will have a few left on the shelves. It'll be sold out in my town by 9:30am on Friday :(

It's also quite depressing the number of years we have to wait for these big Mario/Zelda games. Where Metroid had a whole trilogy pulled out in 6 years.

Exactly, tomorrow I'm gonna head over to ToysRUs and pick up the game. And only ToysRUs because if you buy it there you get a $25 gift card :D. Can't wait!

They should give it to you, I think it's in the flyer.

I'm goin to pick mine up tomorrow. I called today and they didn't have it.
 
FYI, the printed ads all say "limited number" in regards to the GCs, so if ya want it, better show up bright and early. Or not, so that I can get mine more readily. ;)

OH CRAP!!!!!! MARIO JUST FREAKING CALLED ME!!!!!!!!

I preordered the game at Gamestop so they got the guy who does Mario's voice to do a reminder message to pick up the game tomorrow. It was really long and dragged on but hilarious over all!!!!!!

Here is a recording of it!

Have you ever seen the guy who does mario's home in San Francisco. Let's just say princess peach isn't the only one who likes pink. His home is a pink palace.

Yeah i saw that video! This guy is great. But I am happy that he only makes his "action sounds" in the game. It would get quite annoying after a while.
