Dream on thats reserved for halo 3:eek:....Mario voice is annoying but I can deal with it....you know what really got me in this game and as simple as it sounds it makes the game really worth it for me.....using the remote to whip up the gems/stars/whatever...I'm really enjoying that.

The sping powerup sucks.....still manageable though.

Read my post again, I'm pissed that I couldn't play the game when I got home. I'm just somewhat pissed I forgot about the coin. :p
 
My ToysR'Us was all sold out of the game so I missed out on the $25. I wanted it really badly so I went pick it up at CircuitCity. I think I saw GH3 for $70 at Sam's Club so I'll get the savings there.

I'm not a big gamer and I never finished SM64, but I love this game. I have to write a paper so I've only played about an hour. In that hour I already feel like this is a phenomenal game. Its very engaging and innovative, and I could see playing this game for a long time.
Well worth the fifty bucks.

Halo 3 definitely does not deserve it. As a matter of fact, I have barely touched my 360 since buying Halo 3.....and there is no coincidence involved there. Boring game.
I went to buy Galaxy last night but ended up with Bioshock. And I am loving Bioshock. Galaxy will now have to wait a month or so :D But I'm glad people here are enjoying it as I now have no doubt it's a fun game.

The single player and co-op were a bit "meh", expectedly, but I'm loving the multiplayer online...
 
If there was blue start available at the store I got it, the employees could have easily taken it since the coin's package wasn't shrink wrapped.

Got my copy, $25 gift card, coin, and a free Wii silicon glove. So I'm happy! :)

You must not be very far in the game at all, the music is brilliant. And as far as SM64, this rivals it, if not beats it (I'm 30 stars in). You start to forget about what you CAN'T do from SM64, and really enjoy what you CAN do in this new world. I just love long-jumping into orbit around the planets... a lot... maybe too much.:(
 
Yeah, the music is great. The best in a Mario game IMO. Wonderfully scored. :)

RnC is EVIL!!! :p The only game I really want to play on a PS3 is Brutal Legend, which makes me mad!. The PUBLISHING TARDS with all of their infinite STUPIDITY aren't even making it for the PC. I guess they're going for another Psychonaughts, who cares if the game is good if the publisher is short sighted about where their target audience is gaming! :mad: Now I'm sad. :(

Stars?

How many stars are there, 100? I don't like thinking that I'm a quarter of the way through :(, but I've been having an amazing time so it's not too bad. The games I love I always go through too quickly, because I play them all the time.
 
to those who've played it-
Is there a game clock showing how long you've played for?
How many save slots?
Is it loooooong? A friend of mine said he was playing it a few times a day in marathon 5 hour chunks and he's nowhere near beating it. Anyone else like this?

22 hours off for me :) can't believe it's so close! I've dubbed today Work Day because I know I'll get nothing done in the coming weeks.

I could not see a game clock:(

There are 5 save slots:)

I have play for about 8 hours and i have 49 stars.....:(:(
 
Aww, a shame that Twilight Princess and Prime 3 have clocks and not Mario.

Still! sounds like a giant game so I can't complain!
 
I'm quite far into the game and once again the powerups are cool.....tell me yall fav mines is the ice suit & bee suit...spring thingy not so much.

To be honest guys I don't see this receiving GOTY......Now yall can flame me if you want but thats how I see it.
