Order from them is a mess

Been waiting for their email after I received the email from paypal.com. 3 days have been passed and I email to ask my order status.

I ordered 1 canvas and 1 cara. They informed me that cara is not available and ask me to consider to get another color.

I consider to cancel the entire order now.

Yeah I just emailed to inquire a couple hours ago. Nothing since my order on Friday...

Edit: just got a response.

Due to an unexpected shipment delay from our overseas manufacturer, we
are temporarily out of items for the Canvas in all colors. *They went
so fast, we were not even able to put “out of stock” on the website.
We have been promised by the shipping company that our units will be
here within 4 days.

I asked them if they would ship the canvas to me first... Cara will be available in 1st week of May.

If they can't, they won't have my business!

got few scratches on the back of my brand new ipad, not sure if it's due to previous attempts of removal. Now thinking of putting a back skin on it. Has anyone else experienced this? :(
 
brown with white ipad

Man, this case is promising, it really seems to tick al the boxes.

One question, any pictures of the brown Canvas cover with the white ipad? All I can find is the white ipad with the grey cover, from the movie review... The rest is all with the black ipad.
I'm wondering how the two will add up....
 
I have that combo (brown case + white iPad), and it does look good. However, I'm thinking of sending mine back for a refund due to the stiff clasp that is hard to open and close.

Where exactly did the scratches appear on the back? That's a bummer. I followed Psychonaut's method of removing the case starting in the upper right hand corner and gently working your way down the right side. Works easily for me. If there's any debris in the tray when you put your iPad in, I can see that scratching it.
 
I too placed my order last Friday night, funds taken from PayPal, and I have yet to even receive a confirmation of some sort from SwitchEasy. I emailed them earlier today, hopefully I'll get a response soon.
 
Just ordered the charcoal gray one and also used Paypal. The site says there are in stock but maybe they are being a bit "optimistic"? Anyway, I am in no immediate rush; just hope I get in before the iPad 3 comes out!:D
 
I placed an order yesterday for a black one. Got the delay email today. Which is fine by me. I ordered it because it's the only folio style case I've ever liked so I'll wait.

Anyone that's super frustrated with waiting another couple days should relax. From the looks of it they're getting them in as fast as they can. Orders are probably higher in volume than they originally anticipated and they're playing catch up. Shipping delays happen and are out of their hands.

Well, I received a response to my email earlier, stating that they were out of stock but that they would have a new shipment within the next few days.

Just now, I received a shipment notification, so..

Looks like I should be receiving it within the next few days.
 
same here. just got an email saying it's shipped. hopefully it's here by saturday! USPS is usually really fast
 
A huge thanks for all the reviews and feedback - it's made the job of choosing a case so much simpler!

In Europe, looks like there's no stock for over two weeks, so good job that patience is a virtue...
 
finally got mine over here in germany - top notch quality, but adds a heck of a lot of bulk and weight. way heavier and bulkier than my ipad 1 plus original apple ipad case. lightweight ipad2 no more :)

keeper? not quite sure yet. gonna check out the yoobao revision before i make a decision.
 
I also received an email with shipping info! Very excited and I hope it arrives this Saturday. I believe this Friday is Good Friday so no mail.
 
Ordered my case Sunday (April 17) via the website. I got the "we are experiencing a 4 day delay" email and my grey Canvas arrived today in Mississippi via USPS! I didn't know the postal service could travel that fast! Our vet clinic shipments sometimes get lost in the 60 miles to the lab!

Impressed with the shipping. Super impressed with the case. Latch is a little cumbersome, but when I work with it and now that I know where to grab it... not a problem at all.

Super Happy! :D

How did you order 2 days after me and already received your case? I ordered on Friday night from the US store and just recently received a shipping notification. :eek:
 
I placed my order April 17th at 7:01PM and got an email the following day regarding that there was a delay in there product replenishment and my order will ship in 4 days. Received another email today at 4:30PM saying that my package has been shipped.
 
Here's a pic of the brown Canvas case with my white iPad2 that Dzine wanted. I like the overall design of the case, but I'm unhappy with the stubborn clasp that I have to fight and fiddle with every time I open or close it. It has loosened up some with use, but it's still a pain (literally on my fingertips).

For those who have their orders recently shipped, what method of shipping did they use. Mine is USPS Priority Mail.
