Can you not see what you are doing.. you are passing off your personal opinion of a dodgy handset as the normal for every single s5 out there.. do you really think If they were as bad as yours was that anyone would buy the s6.. how many defective iPhone's have been stopped out, loads.. Doesn't mean they are all rubbish.. if you get a bad one are you gonna come on here and say iPhone's suck.. nope.. didn't think so.. try and be a bit more open minded as to your experience isn't necessarily everyone's experience.
And WHERE did I claim that it was everyone's experience.
Let s go back in time shall we? I posted about getting rid of a horrible SGS5 and noted that in my agency most people chose iPhones and that the majority of the people who chose SGS5s are trying to dump them early because the Good app keeps dropping, they run hot, and they spontaneously reboot.
In came a couple of Androidians questioning what I've experienced and what the mobility program manager mentioned to me.
Then came questions as to whether I knew what a bug was and whether I was engaging in hyperbole.
The SGS5s that people are trying to return to my mobility program manager all have the same freezing, lag, Good app drop, overheating issues. Those are facts. Do I have my IT guy on video saying this? Of course not. Will I get him on video for you? Of course not. Am I making this whole thing up? Of course not, I have no reason to. However you may think otherwise.
The SGS5 launch in my agency is a disaster. The phones are buggy as all Hades.
Now, since 2009 I've never had one issue with an iPhone. People do. I don't. Which is why I buy them. If I did have issues, I wouldn't buy them.
Which brings me to Samsung phones. I've bought the Galaxy 2 and 3. I bought the Note 4. I've used the SGS5 for a year. In my experience with the Samsung phones I've used the SGS5 is the worst mess I've had the misfortune of using. I couldn't wait to get rid of it. Tapping on the screen in one place and having it respond somewhere else caused me to almost lock myself out of my phone several times. The freezing and lag, especially after Lollipop, were enough to make me want to smash it against the wall.
Now...I've skipped on the SGS6 and the Note 5. I don't know what my next Android will be. I'm hoping they go back to a user replaceable battery and SD slot on the Note 6. If not then that will be the end of the Samsung line for me.
As far as work, I will not choose a Samsung next time. If ever again. And going by what my mobility program manager said, he wouldn't be surprised if they didn't offer a Samsung next upgrade cycle.
