Why would I attempt to speak for the world? I spoke of the fact that the majority of people in my agency who had SGS5s are trying desperately to get rid of them because they're simply horrible.

I regretted having got mine just days after getting it. From the stupid little charging port door that required digging my nail into the slot every single time it needed charging to the overheating to spontaneous crashes to the ridiculously poor implementation of Good, to the screen not responding where I touched it but rather somewhere where it deemed appropriate, it was a hot mess, literally.

Fact is that we can't do a wipe cache partition task on the enterprise SGS5, which is one of the options for dealing with bugs so we're stuck with a buggy laggy slow freezing crashing hot mess.

And if you talk millions of users, there are far less millions of users worldwide than Samsung expected. Devices just weren't selling.

Don't know why you feel compelled to argue against something of which you have no personal knowledge.
Can you not see what you are doing.. you are passing off your personal opinion of a dodgy handset as the normal for every single s5 out there.. do you really think If they were as bad as yours was that anyone would buy the s6.. how many defective iPhone's have been stopped out, loads.. Doesn't mean they are all rubbish.. if you get a bad one are you gonna come on here and say iPhone's suck.. nope.. didn't think so.. try and be a bit more open minded as to your experience isn't necessarily everyone's experience.

And WHERE did I claim that it was everyone's experience.

Let s go back in time shall we? I posted about getting rid of a horrible SGS5 and noted that in my agency most people chose iPhones and that the majority of the people who chose SGS5s are trying to dump them early because the Good app keeps dropping, they run hot, and they spontaneously reboot.

In came a couple of Androidians questioning what I've experienced and what the mobility program manager mentioned to me.

Then came questions as to whether I knew what a bug was and whether I was engaging in hyperbole.

The SGS5s that people are trying to return to my mobility program manager all have the same freezing, lag, Good app drop, overheating issues. Those are facts. Do I have my IT guy on video saying this? Of course not. Will I get him on video for you? Of course not. Am I making this whole thing up? Of course not, I have no reason to. However you may think otherwise.

The SGS5 launch in my agency is a disaster. The phones are buggy as all Hades.

Now, since 2009 I've never had one issue with an iPhone. People do. I don't. Which is why I buy them. If I did have issues, I wouldn't buy them.

Which brings me to Samsung phones. I've bought the Galaxy 2 and 3. I bought the Note 4. I've used the SGS5 for a year. In my experience with the Samsung phones I've used the SGS5 is the worst mess I've had the misfortune of using. I couldn't wait to get rid of it. Tapping on the screen in one place and having it respond somewhere else caused me to almost lock myself out of my phone several times. The freezing and lag, especially after Lollipop, were enough to make me want to smash it against the wall.

Now...I've skipped on the SGS6 and the Note 5. I don't know what my next Android will be. I'm hoping they go back to a user replaceable battery and SD slot on the Note 6. If not then that will be the end of the Samsung line for me.

As far as work, I will not choose a Samsung next time. If ever again. And going by what my mobility program manager said, he wouldn't be surprised if they didn't offer a Samsung next upgrade cycle.

At the risk of dragging myself into this.....is this not what you are doing in terms of iPhones as well?

You do realize what that poster @billy the fish said about iOS 9, was said about iOS 8, iOS 7, iOS 6, iOS 5. Out of the gate iOS 9, imo, is hands down the best release in years.

Ah. Thank you for the history. Context is often everything.

Having lived through some horrendous releases through the years by non Apple companies, I truly appreciate the Apple upgrades I've experienced.

Cue the usual detractors.....

I don't mind iOS 9 other than the messy settings menu.
Also if you guys want security, Blackberry is still kind in that arena. KNOX on Samsung is there as well but you need to get past TouchPiss first.
I wouldn't promote iOS as secure unless we are all blocking out the iCloud hack from history!

The iCloud hack had nothing to do with iOS.

True but iCloud is integrated into iOS. They are not mutually exclusive to each other.
But iCloud was not hacked from the iPhone. The iCloud hack was a web based attack that had nothing to do with iOS or the iPhone. Seems to me you are spreading FUD as iCloud is also linked to a Mac and my windows pc. Maybe Windows is insecure as well.

So vulnerabilities like these didn't exist then?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...in-screens-steal-Apple-users-credentials.html

Btw nobody claimed Windows is secure!
Does this exist today? Who cares what existed, one month, two months, one year ago. Etc.? Have there been any cases ever of hacking iCloud through the iPhone? Any hacks today with 9.1? There are vulnerabilities Apple fixes, but few or no reported actual iOS hacks in the wild.

I'm glad Windows isn't really used for anything important./s

Again, ignoring the past and pretending it didn't happen doesn't make iOS secure. It's bound to happen again and it will. Just calling out the ******** that iOS is secure.
Not everything manmade is secure but shouting it out load and repeatedly doesn't make it so!

It's a red herring. As you say repeating the same talking points doesn't really make it so; just makes it repetitive.

Oh and I found this little gem of Android security prowess for the consumer market. (I'm thinking it's not a good idea to open up the can of worms related to Android security.)
