Hey! The zip+4 works! I also got this!

Put in the order number, and the zip plus four like this: 209105031

Hey guys,

I'm new here, but I saw the reports about tracking with Mail Innovations. I'm pretty sure there's just a bug in their system and it's giving us false positives.

You can actually type in ANYTHING into the reference number field and it will tell you a package is in the system. You can even type in random things occasionally and you'll get an actual tracking number for USPS.

Edit: Sorry guys. I didn't mean to make everyone sad. I'm waiting on 2 iPhones myself.

Here is my results! I went to ups then hit track by reference, then mail innovations, shipment reference is where I added my T-Mobile order status, I then MANUALLY changed the date to 09/17/2014-09/19/2014, and for zip code I added the entire 9 numbers so example 12345-678 not just the first 5 for my zip. For me it did find a package so I imagine there is movement going on but I do not have a official tracking number or scheduled/estimated delivery date.

Mail innovations & the t-mobile order # worked for me as well. I ordered a 6+ 64gb space gray Saturday afternoon using Jump! and next day air.

Yup definitely some movement going on today. Wouldn't be surprised if some start getting tracking numbers or actual estimated delivery dates tomorrow or even as soon as later tonight.

I am switching from Sprint to tmobile and I purchased an IP6 from apple. The site says it includes a SIM card, but when looking at the process for adding an existing phone to a new tmobile account it forces you to buy a SIM card. What is the correct procedure, and at what point to I request my number port?

Interesting..... Im going to reach out to UPS and see what they say. Brb.

Not sure I can believe that. Let's say there were 4,000,000 preorders over the weekend. Let's be ultra-conservative and say 10% of those were to TMO. Let's say 10% of those were JUMP! That's 40,000 orders to delete and re-enter. I can't see them doing that.

They wouldn't need to do that, I thought it was determined that all jump! orders started with "s."

DAMMMMMITTTT

What should we do then?

Wait until they actually ship. If you want to keep checking by ref number, I wouldn't select the mail innovations option. If you chose overnight shipping, it's not gonna ship until 9/18 at the earliest.

Having said that, I keep checking my overnight order. :D

When I spoke with customer care about this, they transferred me to web sales/sales support. I explained the situation fully (that I didn't initiate the trade in over the phone when I placed the order etc--and that the sales rep didn't even ask me to initiate it). The rep I spoke to explained that because the phone was showing as backordered in their system it doesn't consider the order number to be valid yet. She said that once the phone is in stock/ships/received it should work at that point. If you think about it, it makes sense--it wouldn't be smart of the system to allow you to get trade in value for a phone when your new phone is on backorder. Though this phone is *hopefully* not on true backorder, I was satisfied where her reply.

I also have a rep at a local T-Mo store who I have worked with in the past and she has been super helpful in straightening out billing and other issues. i emailed her about it and am confident that if I still have issues with it after the iPhone 6 is shipped/received, she can help me out.

The worst case scenario at this point is that I can't get the T-mo trade in to work; but I have some quotes from Buy Back World and Gazelle worth close to what T-Mo is offering. If I really, really can't get the $350 T-Mo is offering, I'll be annoyed and disappointed but it won't be the end of the world. In other words, its not worth me canceling my order and resubmitting at this point.

I finally got a phone call from someone at T-mobile yesterday and she gave me the same information you received. Once your iPhone Oder is processed or shipped the online trade in should work.

Under Mail Innovations? That's not good.

Why isn't that good? Crap this is ridiculous. I just like many others want to know a date. People have things to do and need to schedule their time so they can be home to accept the package.

yea look at my reference number... this is not accurate lol

wow, I am starting to think you are right

mine popped up with my t Mobile order number, then when I went to check it again nothing could be found

tried my number and it showed up again
then went to check again via phone number and again nothing could be found

at this point they are just toying with us :(

Same here, worked for both my iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ orders. Make sure to use your nine digit zip code.

I would port once you have the phone in hand. It usually takes a couple of hours so you would use your sprint phone until the tmo port is complete.
