I just decided to call and check my order # through the customer service number and the automated message said backordered, so I'm content now on waiting for my shipping #. I'll still read the thread though

It's the botched pre order continuing into the contradicting tweets and CS responses that is putting everyone in our little thread here into a tizzy. I'm not blaming the CS people one bit but their higher ups need to get their shi*t together and just be straight up with people.

There was no option to increase shipping speed, I had stayed up all night but I vaguely remember the rep alluding to something like that ordering that early ensures it'll be there on 9/19 so that's why I couldn't upgrade it.
Next year I'm going to do what I did with the 5 with the trying to reserve one for pickup at the Apple store, I had to wait about 10 days after launch I think but it was kind of fun and to know when I got through it's only one night away. I should have done it this time but didn't want to drop down $900+

skeptical after reading this thread for days but if so that's fantastic!Those of us that had ETAs removed, were they ground shipping? My ETA was 9/25 and as I think about it, that day would be 5 business days (ground shipping time to my house from Washington state, where I believe it would ship from) from launch day. If rumors are true and all orders are now overnight, wouldn't it make sense that ETAs were removed, and those of us in that window could get it launch day?

You need to call an account specialist. Regular customer care cannot check on JUMP! orders. I'm in the same boat as you are. Everything will be fine

Lol, stay positive my friend. That's positive thinking right there. I would like that to happen but a part of me thinks, they took off our ETA because THEY JUST DON'T HAVE IT and our phones will ship in October.
They say it's not about the destination, it's about the journey. So the fun ends when your phone arrives?
I'm sure they will credit your account. I hope they upgrade every order to overnight. Like I said before, Verizon does free overnight shipping, I wish tmo did the same
CS told me 1-4 weeks last night... and I had ordered it at 2:45am EST on the 12th.
My hope is that they received enough stock to fulfill orders from the first few hours... to disappoint folks that stayed up all night would be a BAD thing.
Hm, not for me. It says they can't retrieve an order status at this time...meanwhile I've been charged and when I go to MyTmobile and check the order information there as I've been doing all along, it shows the usual backordered/no ETA.
As long as they refund us who paid...

Well depending on where in TX, thats 3-4 days for me, meaning in theory the shipping on launch day idea could be right.
While that is definitely possible, all signs and correspondence with T-Mobile have said otherwise. We'll see!
How were you able to order at 2:45am EST when preorders didnt even begin until 3am est and TMO was late to the party by like 3 hours.
on the phone and the representative said thats not true. they WILL NOT upgrade and have not upgraded people to overnight.
I placed an order over the phone yesterday for a 16GB 6+. I signed the EIP while the CS rep was on the phone and she confirmed she received it back. The order was placed and I received an email alert from my credit card that it was charged.
I'm checking the status online but it says our systems are unavailable. I doubt I'll get it in the first shipment but it's weird that my credit card was already charged.
