Well that sucks. I'll have to wait then.

I have the 4-5 line $100 per month family plan and was only using 3 lines. I tried the upgrade and Jump upgrade over and over without success. Just got the spinning ball of doom at the end.
Went ahead and tried adding a new line to my plan and it went right through. No problems at all.
 
Anyone that ordered on the phone and signed the EIP already, are you waiting for an order confirmation still?
 
I've been getting the same error when trying to do a Jump! upgrade even before the iPhone 6 pre-orders went live:

"We are sorry, our systems are not currently available. Please, wait a few minutes and try again."

Exactly. I'm worried some people who think they're Jumping are actually adding a new phone (not a new line) on an Equipment Installment Plan.
 
Really? Are you sure? Because going through the process to Jump yields an error every time for me.

I see a step where it looks like you're jumping, but the popup says it's a non-Jump upgrade.

I think I would know if I paid full price or not. I got the 64GB Plus and paid $99 plus tax and signed a new EIP agreement. Like I said, I was among the first if not THE first person to see the iPhone 6 come up. I was in the Jump upgrade section of the site already and refreshing over and over and the iPhone 6 popped up. I think that once everybody and his brother jump on the site, the crap hit the fan.

I placed my order around 3:30 and got the order confirmation at 5:45.
 
Just went to a T-Mobile store and they put my name and number on a list for pre-orders. People on the list were guaranteed a phone next Friday.

The manager had this sheet of paper with people's names and number. Said he would be calling everyone on Thursday to confirm (or deny) based on availability they receive...

Said I should be getting a call because I was only like 20th on the list.

YMMV... not sure if all stores are doing this (or if this is even allowed lol)

Yes, of course you would know you didn't pay full price. But are you 100 percent sure that you didn't add a second device to your line?

For some reason, T-Mobile will let you add another device and new EIP agreement. Essentially that means you'll be paying off two phones on one line.

I tried to Jump but it would only give me the option of adding a new device.

Just looking out for you and others.
 
So a rep from T-Mobile is telling me that the EIP is still showing as pending, even though I signed the document this morning and received confirmation of that.....

Can;t even find out whats going on with that...

Could the EIP document be missing something?

Good luck with that. T-Mobile is one of the most screwed up companies when it comes to customer service. Every rep tells you something different and none of their computer systems seem to talk to each other. I would camp out at the store and be among the first to walk in the door on 9/19 if you want a phone on launch day. I would definitely not walk into the store later in the day assuming a phone is waiting for you, besides, he probably has no idea how many phones or what models he's going to get.

They said anyone on the list must pick up the phone before noon on Friday. They're calling people on Thursday to confirm.

If your name is NOT on the list, you will NOT be getting a phone unless someone on the list doesn't show up.

I think this is their way of preventing people from camping out. (at least this store anyway)

I do hope that works out for you. I'm just going on my experience with T-Mobile in the store and on the phone. If it was me, I would be lined up early regardless. Why don't you let us know how it works out?

Yeah I'm still headed up there first thing in the morning next Friday. I'll start a new thread next Thursday if they actually do call me and GUARANTEE me a phone for Friday.

Fo those that did the EIP form via email, the only thing on there to was to digitally sign on the last page right??

I don't think so. I ordered two phones over the phone 6 and 6 plus and I signed both of them but when I called to check my order, the automated system said they were cancelled since they didn't receive the EIP yet. Even though I have the confirmation saying I sent them.

I hope so. I did check on the status online and they don't show cancelled, they show pending EIP. I will call in a few hours again to speak to actual rep who can verify my orders are being processed.

Where does it show as pending EIP? Curious if my order is also still pending this (even though I got the confirmation email)

Did you get the EIP confirmation email? Or an actual order email? I only received one saying your copy of the EIP. And I checked on my account on t mobile.com. Go to phone, then on the bottom it check status and that's where it shows the pending.

I got an EIP confirm and then an order confirmation. This is what my order looks like on my.tmobile.com

Yeah, I can confirm as well that online JUMP orders are working - BUT you have to keep refreshing the Device List page over and over and get lucky that it loads.

I got the page up and selected the 16GB 6+, but like a moron I decided to click "Change Device" to see what the 64GB would cost (before I knew it was $99) and now I'm back to square one... :mad:

Adding another line to your account is a totally separate process. It would be hard to confuse the 2. You can't add a new phone without adding a new line. You have 2 options, upgrade an existing line or add a new one.
 
I got an EIP confirm and then an order confirmation. This is what my order looks like on my.tmobile.com

You're at least getting the order processed under order history. I only have the EIP pending approval and my other one went from EIP pending approval to just pending.
