You would think that Apple would make enough iPhones instead of making just bare minimum. It makes no sense at all. Now people who ordered the day of pre-ordering has to wait till who knows when is ridiculous. And on top of that, I told the guy I wanted a 64gb iPhone 6+ and he put it in as a 16gb, so who knows what I will get when it EVENTUALLY comes in. I can tell you that the Space Gray 6+ 64GB was an extremely popular device, and 10:04AM PT is most likely too late to make the first shipment.

So from what you're saying that the 6+ jump preorder I placed on friday will not get the same priority as someone that ordered the same phone with jump on saturday or sunday? How fair is that for the Friday crowd?

I know that. I'm saying it's ridiculous that anything over the weekend was prioritized, it should have only been for people that managed to get their JUMP! order done on Friday.

I tweeted John on Friday about the issue and he replied to me at that time that the orders would be prioritized. Of course, at this point I don't even believe the CEO.
 
If you are a new customer like me, you should sign up for UPS My Choice.

I received no text, no email, can't access my.tmobile.com tracking and the new customer status page still says Order Placed. Signed up for UPS My Choice yesterday and I received a package coming email this morning from UPS with a 9/19 delivery date and it's already in transit. The tracking actually says that the order was processed yesterday morning at 5:02 AM.

If not for the email, I'd still be stressing right now on whether my phones are coming tomorrow since there is absolutely zero communication from T-Mobile.

That would be helpful, if I wouldn't have shipped it to my work address, since that's the only way I'll be able to sign for a very expensive package.

Relax. Apple did not "make the bare minimum". They're cranking them out as fast as humanly possible, because they want people's money as fast as humanly possible. (though the snafu with your order sounds really crappy-- sorry to hear about that :( )

At this point....despite getting all Friday texts,emails no tracking info at 2:00pm and no charge on my account.... No Chance I'm getting my iPhone tomorrow

Yeah, I mean, they are ONLY cranking out 400,000 6's a day right now. What the hell? I mean, if they keep up that slow pace, they will only make 146 million iPhones in a year. GEEZ. :rolleyes:
 
I am almost exactly in the same position as you. Same phone, same delivery, same order time, same text, JUMP!'ed online, same everything -- I kid you not.

Just hoping now then that I get it on Tuesday/Monday or really early next week I can't go too long without a proper smartphone that has all my stuff on it (considering I wiped my current phone).

I'm in the same situation as you guys same phone, same time, same text.
 
My iPhone 6Plus Story...

So i ordered my iphone 6 plus with jump on the sep13 around 230-3pm (hawaii time) and was told that its backordered & it will be a 4-6week, and i was fine with that.

but yesterday Sep 17 i got a text & email stating
"Free T-Mobile Msg: Great news! You should receive your iPhone 6 Plus on Friday. We'll send another text with your tracking number once it ships"

so i login to mytmobile to check my ref. and it said pending shipping,
So naturally I got super excited. Later on in the day I checked it again and then it said backorder status.
and i was like WTF.

then this morning i got this text "Free T-Mobile Msg: We are shipping iPhone orders today using overnight delivery. Check www.mytmobile.com for tracking information"
Are you telling me your shipping other people's iphone or is mine in that shipment to quit playing with me!

what's going on tmobile playing with my emotions, haha

Edit: oh yeah they also charge my credit card, yesterday

I've shipped something at 6pm in Pennsylvania via UPS and had it in California by breakfast.....so I'll wait till 7pm or so before I lose hope for tomorrow.

I know they didn't make the bare minimum. But T-Mobile is messing with our minds. I don't even remember my name anymore.
 
I ordered a second phone through Apple because i couldn't order through T-Mobile when they were down and the Apple order was to be delivered between Oct. 1 and Oct. 6. It is now Preparing for Shipment. So I am glad I didn't cancel that order because it seems I would be getting that before T-Mobile's. Stinks I won't be able to use my Jump. My point is that Apple might be picking up on their production if I am getting one order earlier than expected.
 
Have a pending charge that says "t-mobile for $78.06, the cost of the tax and overnight shipping. Is this a preauthorization or a charge? I also got Friday text and email, I had a pending $1 from t-mobile earlier in the week.

Its a preauthorization. When they actually charge you it will be the full amount.
