Yesterday, at 5:56PM, I got an e-mail from T-Mobile with an update on my order, stating that I should be receiving my device on Friday. It said that another notification with a tracking number will be sent as soon as it ships - none yet.

I mentioned before, but just for FYI purposes:
Customer Type: New
Phone: iPhone 6+, 128GB, Space Grey
Order Date: 09/12/2014 at 06:45 AM PDT

Order status page still says "Order Placed" and robot lady still says "Backordered".

So because I woke up early, preordered, signed my eip, and provided my Amex for the tax and down payment, I won't have a phone tomorrow but a guy that preorders on Saturday will. Cruel world.

I did this as well. What's the reason? It would take me forever to sift through the whole thread.

I wouldn't count on any shipping confirmations today. Just be on the lookout for your package tomorrow. Its going on 3:00pm EST and not a peep yet with tracking information.

So unless they are just flat out not delivering anything tomorrow, I'd say its not going to be emailed out until after you have the device.
 
I'm sure they'll have some but probably limited depending on location. 16gb only seems pretty common for T-mobile though.

Yeah I called my local t-mo store thinking I could try that but they confirmed they'll ONLY had 16 GB versions of the phone. So beware if you're going in thinking you'll walk away with a 128.

Of course (sorry I forgot to include). iPhone 6, 64 GB Space Grey. Ordered in-store on Monday (had to complete over the phone). Signed EIP that evening. JUMP! as well - although not sure that matters since I'm a new customer. Have a charge on my Wells Fargo account for the full amount ($99.99 + taxes). Also received the email indicating Friday arrival yesterday.

Hope that helps. I can't access My Choice since I have the phone being delivered to my work address, but really hoping I get a tracking number tonight. Have you received the fabled email alert at least?

no emails ;__; a sales supervisor said that my order is processing for shipment, although i won't put all of my stock into that just yet. i'm so excited regardless!

That literally makes no sense.

Friday should still take priority over the weekend, regardless if it was placed in a first come first served basis. Yet Saturday and Sunday are currently taking priority over Friday in general.


It should be
1. Friday- first come first served
2. Saturday Sunday- Jump first then Non Jump

Thats what I just said. You just repeated it.

OK GUYS WHAT I HEARD FROM HIGHER UPs
1. Jump orders are defineley prioritized before all others (12-14)
2. That even if you have a shipping label it doesnt mean anything because she said the had not ship anything yet?
3.That there is enough units for the preorder just not sure when we would receive them.
4. They began fufilling orders in order of priority but how we know if this is true if we wakeup and find an iphone coming that day.
5. The friday text says as SOON as friday meaning that it whats its expected but its most likely not true. The most true one is the people who received from the 22 to 30th will be receiving it by that time frame
 
If you are a new customer like me, you should sign up for UPS My Choice.

I received no text, no email, can't access my.tmobile.com tracking and the new customer status page still says Order Placed. Signed up for UPS My Choice yesterday and I received a package coming email this morning from UPS with a 9/19 delivery date and it's already in transit. The tracking actually says that the order was processed yesterday morning at 5:02 AM.

If not for the email, I'd still be stressing right now on whether my phones are coming tomorrow since there is absolutely zero communication from T-Mobile.

New customer too... but Ive gotten no email, no text, mychoice has nada, but I was authorized twice. I think 1 of the 3 phones I have ordered is backordered is all I can think.

Friday 8 am pst order time on phone.

No one knows the reason. A part of me thinks our orders will just show up, and a part of me thinks that maybe we'll get some info later tonight. I won't be angry if I get it next week, I'll be angry at the fact that I was left in the dark and went through hell and back trying to order the phone.

Hey I stood up all night. Refreshed the page like a madman from 12am PST until 3am PST. Finally got my ordered placed, signed my EIP within a minute of getting it and I'm still not getting it tomorrow. I assume the model I ordered is super popular, but still.. To not get it after refreshing their website for 3 hours.. Extremely disappointing.

people just disregard his message, it look like he the 22-30th shipment batch and hoping it true, BUT it not!!

IF that is true then UPS is lying to a whole hell of a lot of people.

This x100. I understand supply constraint on Apple's part (nothing T-Mo can do about that), but not one damn thing from any person I've spoken with is concrete and at this point even believable.
 
Just thought I would chime in as well. I preordered 9/12 @ 6:36am EST via phone since website was down. I ordered the 6+ Space Gray 16gb. All I have gotten so far is the text/email that said will update you in 1-2 days. No charge ion account or ups tracking info. Order page still says backordered/preordered on status page depending on what browser I use. My backorder date did change on 9/17 at 3:17:01 am.

Lol I think that's 100% what they are told to say, yet it is 100% untrue! I am a JUMP order from 9/12 yet I see 9/13 getting shipping confirmations and I have no charges...

It just doesn't make sense to me why they would do something for the JUMP customers at the expense of other customers. You've traded one set of unhappy customers for another set. I agree they should do something for the jump folks because of the mess, but prioritizing above everyone seems like a stupid option ... especially in the case where Sat & Sun gets put ahead of anyone that ordered on Friday.

Also ... How stupid are you to not know the response was going to be huge and plan accordingly??

Also ... What is the point of pre-ordering if you can't get it on launch day like every other time I have ever done pre-order for an iPhone.

so many things ... lol
