Sorry my screen capture skills blow, but the quote you see is on their feed.. "Backordered just means it is not launch day, we are working on fulfilling as many orders as possible *AG"That's not posted anywhere.

So I got a call and email today stating my order was canceled and they think it was a glitch in their system. I am a new customer coming from Verizon and I feel like an idiot at this point trying so hard to give this company my business. Has this happened to anyone else and what options do I have to try and get a phone before the end of October. The lady on the phone said I would have to make a new order from scratch from credit app and plan and everything and then be at the back of the line. I woke up at 2:30am EDT on the 12th to pre order this phone and waited 4 hours for them to open up the orders. I tweeted John Legere and Tmobile Help and no response. Has anyone else had to go through this and been able to get their order reinstated or a rush put on a phone for them? Any help would be appreciated.
T-Mobile's twitter feed just said that if your order is on backorder you will not be receiving it on Launch day.
i don't see that, i see "backordered just means it is not launch day, we are working on fulfilling as many orders as possible *AG" which is just a reiteration of the fact that tmo uses the word "backordered" until all their inventory is accounted for on launch day, "it is not launch day," as in "today is not launch day"
T-Mobile @TMobile 4h
@realmikemaaa All orders will show as backorder until the date of availability. At that time you'll be provided more info via email.
T-Mobile USA @TMobileHelp 12m
@jjooyy_ng backordered just means it is not launch day, we are working on fulfilling as many orders as possible *AG
"@TMobile how long is the back order going to take?"
"@TMobileHelp
@_ReturnOfTheG ...should ship in <6 weeks. *JM 2/2"

Thank you for your analysis please call the executive line and tell them this because trust me i want to get my phone tomorrow like my text told me but with no tracking update that doesnt seem viable. if you want the number please message me again THIS IS WHAT THEY TOLD ME!!!My 2 Higher ups trump your higher up.. 13-14 is prioritized for all 13-14 orders, 12th is order it was received and everyone gets bumped to next day shipping.
UPS is notoriously slow to update it's tracking site.. I just got my keyboard, next day, and UPS only just updated with info this morning..
Means nothing
This adds no value to anything.. why waste the space /time typing? LOL - doh! mine too!
Pure speculation on your part.
Does not, says "Great News! You should receive your iPhone 6 Plus on Friday. We'll send another text with your tracking number once it ships"
The word Soon is never used. And your 'most likely not true' is just your hyperbole speculation.. again.. durrrr

Conflicting tweets. Also remember seeing TMobileHelp verifying the Friday texts/emails. Guess we'll know in a couple of hours if people get shipment notifications or not.
that does not mean that backorders will not be sent out for launch day that means literally that today is not launch day ...
That's not posted anywhere.

That's the generic response all of CS is using.
Also ... How stupid are you to not know the response was going to be huge and plan accordingly??

Stop calling reps/tweeting the T-mobile help account. NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING FOR SURE. The only way you'll know anything for sure is either when you get your phone tomorrow or you don't
The quote came from a reply to someone who was upset that their spouse was getting it on launch day but that their's was still back ordered. I guess I am reading that differently than you and that is ok. I swear I am not arguing with anyone on this.that does not mean that backorders will not be sent out for launch day that means literally that today is not launch day ...
Question, should I expect to have to sign for the phone? I know fedex always required that when I'd order from Apple, but I'm not sure with UPS, last year I got my 5S from tmobile and I don't remember having to sign for it...it was just there when I got home. If so, is there a place I can presign like with apple/fedex orders? I'm excited but it's not something I can take off work for.![]()
