Lucky you. When was your credit card authorized?

Pending charge on 9/12 for full amount. Dropped off on 9/16. Another pending change on 9/16 for about $20 less than the full amount. I'm thinking it's the price of 2 sim cards.

I selected ground shipping too so I got upgraded to one day shipping.

All,

Due to the extreme popularity of this device and the massive amount of preorders received T-Mobile's systems as well as UPS's are overloaded.

Once again, if your card has been charged between 9/16 and today you are in VERY good shape to receive your device tomorrow. Many of you will have a phone IN HAND before you ever see a tracking number. Again this is due to the sheer amount of orders that are being processed at one time.

And what about the people who did a Jump Upgrade in store and have had their cards charged for the full amount since Friday?

I work for T-Mobile. I'd rather not share the who or where or what I do.

Probably for the best. Thanks for joining though.

What's the best way to see where our order stands? Just wait? I'd love to contact a rep but don't want to bug anyone by asking the same question they've already heard 372347274923 times.

Hopefully after the large group of shipments get out tonight, Tmo will be able to get ETA's for the order status for the rest of us. I would like to know how long that I am going to have to lust for my wife's 6 before my 6+ arrives.:D

This is such a crazy thread.

I ordered the 9/13 at 08:02:47 PM using JUMP! I bogged down because of the priority. I got with normal shipping and at the end it told me I would get it by the 22nd. Then sunday I get it backordered and thats fine.

Well I got yesterdays text on getting iPhone on Friday, then the email, then todays overnight text as well. Online it says backordered and I tried the UPS thing and nothing. I have gotten charged also on card last night.

Honestly I am shocked this is happening. If I get the iPhone tomorrow I would be happy. But this is truly crazy because all the people that did do Friday are hearing nothing or getting no texts.

I would not be surprised if everything got screwed up and I dont get my phone till a month. Which is what i was anticipating anyways.

I ordered a Space Grey 6 16gb by the way

Emailed John about 9 hours ago, didn't get anything at all back. Tweeted him a while ago and he responded saying @TMobileHelp would help me and I got a bunch of tweets from that account but I've DMed them and still have no answers..

Do you know why there's a lot of mixed messages coming from the CS teams? Or why they can't say what you just said? I think it would shut a lot of people up. Though I suppose if something didn't make it they would have a lot of back tracking to do...

Did anyone getting 6+ get a text/email suggesting their phone would arrive Friday?

After a particularly arduous serious of conversations with Customer Service they said they'd help out and shortly thereafter I got a text for Friday delivery. But, no charge on card, no movement on order status, so I'm not going to count on it. I'll be ok if it ships tomorrow via Next Day air (so arrives on the 22nd) as that's what their site said it would be at the time I ordered.

You can certainly call. It really just depends on who picks up the phone unfortunately. Many people are sticking the the cookie cutter response they are given by management, others are more motivated individuals who will dig deeper for you.

I'm going to post my crackpot theory, so take it how you will:

The messages that were sent out (both email and text) were probably system generated from the time pre-orders went out (this has been discussed by T-Mobile Reddit for some time now, some users that cancelled orders are getting these!). Now, CS reps probably just confirm these as true just to not have to deal with the answering of the questions.

As for authorizations are concerned on credit cards, one pre-authorization for the full amount probably doesn't bode well for you. Same goes for people with zero authorization. If I was T-Mobile, I would then hit the card after the first authorization to ensure that individuals have the amount for the phones + tax as the SIM Cards and shipping are pretty much useless to them (as in free).

Hopefully, T-Mobile comes through with ACTUAL shipping information in the next 40 minutes.

Side Note: As a new customer, I learned the only acutal, useful information I ever got was from the sales department. Their phone number is 1-800-672-5390 (after robo lady). They seem to be the only ones with access to the system for new orders.

So, ball is in your court T-Mobile...;)

The combination of JUMP and Next Day Air tell me the complaint had nothing to do with it. At least that's what I want to believe.

I just saw a ups guy deliver to the att store across the street.. tmobiles just down the road.. I bet they just got their small shipment in.

So after a few hours, The Director of Executive Response at T-Mobile replied to my email with this:

"I just received notification from my Order Management team confirming that your order is being fulfilled and shipped out today. You will receive notification with shipping information shortly.

I apologize for the delay – was just waiting on the green light from them.

Thank you so much for your patience!"

------

I pre-ordered on 9/12 at 4:51am PST

- iPhone 6 + (16GB -Silver)
- Non-JUMP! order
- EIP signed and confirmation e-mail at 5:02am PST
- Paid $24.99 for UPS Overnight shipping
- Received a text and email last night stating 9/22-9/30
- Status changed from "Order Placed" to "Pre-Order" this morning.

-----

I never received a text for delivery tomorrow, but my CC was just charged about an hour ago.

I emailed him last night and haven't heard jack.

TMobileHelp just tweeted "all preordered devices will be shipped overnight, FOR FREE! If you paid for shipping, let us know once you get the device and we'll refund it!"

I'm seeing many who have been charged for shipping.

Please contact T-Mobile once you receive your device, all shipping should have been waived.
