I got the 9/22 - 9/30 text and email.
I got 09/19 Friday from Robo-Lady.

This is confusing!!!

I actually got both texts, haven't called Robo Lady today. Maybe its because I have two separate orders. Maybe the second is for the JUMP order i placed on 9/14/14.
 
I never got a email with the tracking. I got charged on my card on Tuesday PM and last night at 10pm got a text and email saying i will get it on friday. My t-mobile profile still says is backordered but i tracked the package through my cell phone number on the ups account.

I billed my tmobile account so idk how that works. And lucky you got an email I didn't get anything.
 
Hmm...curious to see what they say.
Much like Utahman, I'm not too confident about a Friday delivery for you at this point as I'm sure T-Mobile would like to collect their money, but I hope you get it!

Yup! I'm not even expecting it tomorrow.
At this point, I just want to make sure my order is still intact.
But of course, tomorrow would be wonderful! :p
 
Is there anyone else who received their shipping information yesterday, but has yet to see any movement with UPS?

Hello everyone! Long time, first time! ;)

Per my signature below, I pre-ordered a iPhone 6 (4.7) 64GB Space Gray in a T-Mobile corporate store at 1:30 PM PDT. I had been in earlier about 11 AM, but their ordering system was down and my particular agent had not processed any iPhone pre-orders since arriving at 10 AM.

I have received the following updates/changes this week:
9/16 1:00 PM: Pre-authorization for the correct amount on my invoice, covering down payment, sales tax, and ground shipping.
9/17 6:40PM: T-Mobile SMS "Great news! You should receive your iPhone 6 on Friday..."
9/17 7:26 PM: T-Mobile email "Great news -- you sould receive your device on Friday..."
9/18 8:32 AM: T-Mobile SMS: We are shipping iPhone orders today using overnight delivery...

Note about My T-Mobile Pre-order status page:
Since Wednesday evening it has said "Order Status: Pre-Order [pink check]"
Order History: BackOrder 09/17/2014 at 03:19:45 AM. This time has been the same since 9/17, although it curiouslychanged from "Backordered" spelling at some point since then, I think Wednesday evening.

Notes about UPS tracking:
I have a My UPS account and have no tracking numbers assigned to my address. As of this posting, tracking by reference using my account number, order number, and phone number have not yielded any results.

Given the reported delays in T-Mobile's order status system during pre-order, it appears many phones may ship before any status updates.

For those new to T-Mobile concerned about customer service, yes, this process has been marked by poor/lack of communication, but I have otherwise been treated well (and promptly) in the past, both over the phone and in-store. Best of luck to everyone! I'm excited to get my new phone!
 
Alternative way to get tracking info is through UPS MyChoice account. But it looks like you should be good based on your other info.

Been trying that, but nothing showing yet, though may not considering it being said ya might have the phone before systems are updated.. so keeping positive.

but seriously, what is emailing John or any other high VP going to do? Its not like they are going to hand deliver the phone. So stop emailing them!!

Emailing them to rail and rant endlessly is stupid, but when you share legitimate stories I do think they appreciate being made aware of what is going on. Not that they aren't already aware of the nightmare in front of them.

Then they receive a text message and an email from T-mo saying they will receive the phone by Friday. They stop complaining about lack of communication and now just accuse T-mo of lying to them. They call CS for the 4,534th time complaining. LOL

I still think those texts\emails are a crock. Coming from a financial background, you don't get anything without paying! That's where having those pre-authorizations come into play.

Ha, was tweeting with you last night about this. Glad you got a response - I got the email only (no text, probably bc I'm a new customer), but that's somewhat of a reassuring tweet from Legere...
