When you are your My T-Mobile account, it should show in yellow and black of any recent activity going on with your account. Should be on the right side.

If not, I would give them a call.

Going to the recent activity orders doesn't show any ETA. When you try to click on the order status link the connection times out. Quite frustrating.

I'm with you. It seems though, they are giving jump! customers some priority since we pay $10 extra a month for it...... I just checked my orders again on my tmo. Is this what everyone is getting as far as back ordered goes?

Same message with delivery on the 25th [ chose Ground like an idiot! ]. Been a JUMP customer for about 8 months...

Current Status : Backordered.

Received, email and text.

Some of you are legit crazy. Like there's a diffrence between being pissed and being crazy. Like posting CS rep names and IDs omfg lmao. And suggesting VIOLENT boycotts, wtf? I would assume most of these reps are just taking what they are told and going with it. It seems like the CEO isn't really handling much, just tweeting stuff from his ass. That said I am annoyed how long this took. And the fact that when I placed my order I with expedited shipping it had a delivery date of 9/20, and now it's back ordered. I'll prob see about a refund for shipping or something.

Is it better just to go to the tmobile store on the 19 and order it and get the phone on the spot? Since everything is getting backordered.

Pre-Order Status

Like so many here, I had issues placing my upgrade yesterday. I was finally able to do so and had an estimated delivery date of 9/25. Woke up this morning to a text saying my phone was on backorder.

Called TMO and was on hold for 1 HOUR and six and minutes, then the system just disconnected. A rep called my number asking if I'd just called TMO. Funny right? "just' was over an hour before.

She explained that the reason all phones were put on backorder is that they hadn't actually received any in the warehouse yet from Apple.

What I still don't understand is the fact that all of these companies, from Apple to T-Mobile, knew this was coming, yet they don't appear to have shored up their systems in any way. Inexcusable really.

To make matters even more confusing, when I eventually got my order in, the EIP contract said I ordered a gold iPhone 6 when it was silver. Nuts.

I understand the business need to hype things up and even keep supplies tight. There is no excuse however, for making the ordering process for those who choose to buy early, such a horrific experience. All parties involved end up looking bad. Looking at you Cook and Legere. PS. I've been with TMO for 13 years.

If I can walk into a T-Mobile store on Friday and buy the phone, I'll end up doing that and canceling the existing order. If no cancel allowed, shipment will be refused.

Ordered 6 Plus 64GB Silver at 6:15 am PST on Friday morning over the phone, signed contact via email within 10 minutes, updated email today saying backordered like everyone else.

Not once has there been a delivery date available for the order online though. Just says ground shipping and that's it.

Patiently waiting and update with good news next week hopefully and not a JUMP customer btw...

What is T-Mobile's refund policy on Jump orders? I also pre-ordered on Apple in case T-Mobile doesn't have enough stock, etc

Refuse shipment and they will credit everything back after processed at warehouse.

And you should feel slighted! We all got played, but the Jump! customers really got a raw deal by not being able to jump online and over the phone for awhile.

But that doesn't make it cool to turn around and screw the next person who didn't do anything wrong. You man up, say we effed up and make it right with the people you screwed. But in doing so, you don't piss off the next customer. Horrible business strategy. All they're doing is delaying the inevitable--people will leave TMO because of this and they'll be dishing out credits like they never have before. They're just making sure they don't lose the people who make them $120 extra per line, per year.

Yeah, agreed. It's a shame, too, because I really like all their Uncarrier stuff, so I hope they don't continue to do little annoying things like this.

Just for fun while reloading T-Mobile's site again and again yesterday, I pretended to open a line at Verizon's site. I could've switched to them and had two new phones after only about 5 minutes. How can they get it so right and T-Mobile get it so wrong?

I'm moving to T-Mobile from AT&T. I preordered my iPhone 6+ and paid full price at Apple.com. It says I'll get it the first week of Oct. which is fine because my contract ends Oct. 1st. Next we are going to be making a line on the 19th for the rest of my family to get it at Apple. Can they make a new T-Mobile plan at the store? Or should I start one at T-Mobile first before the 19th? Does anyone know if you also have to pay full price of the phone if you buy it at the store? Thanks!

We have family plan of 4 and we are all moving. It has to be done one by one because the contracts end at different times.

Tmo will pay to end your contracts. They can add lines at the store. Expect to take about an hour to create the account, lines, Port etc. Online is very quick.

For some odd reason I felt like ordering a 6+ SG 64gb at 5am this morning. Was going to get a Note 4 but changed my mind(I think). Chose next day or three day (whatever the middle option is) and got a text saying I should expect is 9/23

Man some of you need to use your brain.
I did that EIP form online when I was upgrading. You just use the font chooser and select your signature. And also you can full price online. Don't know why someone said you couldn't.

So eventhough I ordered my device over the phone at approximately 7 o'clock EST just because I chose "ground shipping" I won't be receiving it until the 25th ?

T-Mobile trade-in issues?

I have been trying to set-up my trade-in on the T-Mobile site. Every time I try it they tell me my order number is invalid. My order number is valid and correct. Anyone else having this issue? Seems like another site issue.

So what does this mean for non JUMP customers who ordered early Friday morning?

That, my friend, is the million dollar question.

So far the T-Mobile Twitter account has been silent on this issue. Probably because we're getting placed on the backburner for the Jump! folks who bring in an extra $120/year + more handset sales.

This is my only gripe about this situation, besides the obvious part about the phones not being up for order when they were supposed to be.

It's all UPS once the device leaves the warehouse, so hard to tell until the units are shipped.

My experience..

I've been trying to order since launch, iPhone 6+ Space Grey 64GB. Like others online was a complete failure. Went to the T-Mobile retail stores 3 times yesterday only to be told they had a nationwide JUMP outage.

Go to the store this morning since online still was not working for me. I'm told JUMP is back up, get all the way to checkout and the rep tells me it will not let him complete the pre-order due to errors.

So here I am clicking "Submit Order" every 30mins. I'm greeted with this lovely note every time. http://imgur.com/S9UmWoZ

I ordered jump yesterday but had browser issues. Used my phone and it worked.

I ordered 2 iPhone 6 from the t-mobile website as a new customer at around 4:10AM PST on the 12th. During checkout a pop out appeared saying that the phones are not available immediately and should ship on 9/15. Website showed "Generic Error" after I clicked "submit order" but I received the signed EIP and "We received your order" emails almost immediately so I wasn't worried about the error.

Later that day, a pending charge from t-mobile for $255 (downpayment + sales tax) appeared on my credit card statement. I read though the thread and it seems like nobody else's credit card was charged yet. No idea why mine was charged already.

This morning, I received a voicemail from t-mobile telling me to call back to complete my order??! I called back and verified my personal details and the rep said that she didn't know why I received the call, everything looked good and that there was no note attached to the order. Weird. I asked her if she knows when I would receive it and she said that it will ship out on the 19th.

Anyway, just wanted to share my experience since it seems nobody else shared a similar order story.

My cc was not charged as I didn't have a down payment. I will be charged shipping once it ships.

Don't freak out and call customer care because you got the backorder email.

I did a normal upgrade, no JUMP, to a 64GB Gold 6 late 9/12. Got an estimated shipping date of 9/19 and a delivery date of 9/25. Went to sleep content.

Woke up this morning with the dreaded backorder email AND text. After checking Tmonews, I saw that everyone got those same notifications.
Now my delivery date is back to saying the 25th.

I ordered jump yesterday but had browser issues. Used my phone and it worked.

Tried to do that as well. Get told to use the desktop version of the site. Requesting the desktop version on my phone only works for the first steps. I'm beginning to think I'll have better luck showing up to the store on the 19th. Does anyone know if the carriers sell in store stock on the 19th or is that only Apple?

EDIT: Just received this email regarding pre-ordering http://imgur.com/AOrtbD1

My TMO order doesn't have a delivery date yet :( Glad I also ordered from the Apple store off contract just in case. That phone is set to be delivered on the 19th. I would have cancelled that order if I knew that the TMO phone was coming any time in Sept but that isn't looking likely it seems. I will just go to the TMO store by my work once I get the new phone to start a new account.
