hmm my order status shows the wrong size model but the EIP contract had it correct

not sure if I need to be concerned about that or not

PartiallyCreated order status from local store pre-order

Hey all. I pre-ordered an iPhone 6 128GB Space Gray at a T-Mobile Store Friday night. The store rep printed out an order confirmation for me, and all seems ok.
But now when I look up the order status is shows as "PartiallyCreated" with an estimated delivery date of September 14th. Obviously that is incorrect, but I was wondering if others that did walk ins to stores to do their Pre-Orders are seeing the same order status. It's also worth noting that I did this as a Jump upgrade in the store.
I haven't received texts or any sort of solid order information since it was created last night, like some of you have, so just curious...should I be worried?

Is it possible the ship date is correct? Shipping out on the 14th could mean delivery on the 19th or shortly after.

I have been trying to set-up my trade-in on the T-Mobile site. Every time I try it they tell me my order number is invalid. My order number is valid and correct. Anyone else having this issue? Seems like another site issue.

Same issue. Not sure what to do.

My account was fubar in that I couldn't complete a purchase for some reason. I had to get in touch with tmobile to fix my account, it was as if my single line account wasn't the "primary number" (maybe due to when I added the ipad line?) and that messed things up. Ordered a space grey 64gb 6+ phone, expected to get it on the 25th.

Don't freak out and call customer care because you got the backorder email.

I did a normal upgrade, no JUMP, to a 64GB Gold 6 late 9/12. Got an estimated shipping date of 9/19 and a delivery date of 9/25. Went to sleep content.

Woke up this morning with the dreaded backorder email AND text. After checking Tmonews, I saw that everyone got those same notifications.
Now my delivery date is back to saying the 25th.

Where are you seeing a delivery date?

I'm a new customer, switching over from ATT. I put my order in at 4:30am PDT Friday, which was the earliest I could get through to the site. 1 iphone 6 and 1 6+. Order completed within 5 minutes, even with signing the virtual docs.

My order status says, "order placed"...I did not receive a back ordered email/txt as of sat afternoon. Just a point of reference for others who are wondering what's going on. I have no clue either, but we'll see what happens this comkng week.

I ordered via the T-Mobile website, as a brand new T-Mobile customer (no upgrade or JUMP, just starting new service entirely).

Got through after a bunch of nonsense, and my order status page says I placed the order at 4:46 AM PST, which was when people were still having lots of trouble. So I had to be among one of the first orders. I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus, Space Gray, 64GB.

Received no indication of a shipping date at all, so I called the number to check my order status a few hours later and it said it should be delivered on September 18th (I took that to mean on release date). Today, now, I called the number again, and I'm being told my order is on back order. :( I haven't received the email that everybody else is talking about.

I'm going to be pretty bummed out if my order went on backorder without me being told anything. I still have no way of checking my delivery date aside from that number, so my phone going on backorder and not being told about it at all is kinda lame.

This is my exact experience as well, as noted above.

Same here. I wouldn't stress about it. Many are in the same situation and I'm sure all we be worked out and we will get our phones Friday.

You can call 1-800-TMOBILE and just go through the automated machine to find out whether it's backordered or not, I'm switching too and I didn't get an email about it being backordered but when I called I found out it apparently was.

Apparently we are all backordered if that's the case it has to be a glitch in the system. Because sounds like everyone is in the same boat rite now.

I just hope T-Mobile's Twitter account can provide more details on us JUMP! upgraders.

Since Backordered means they don't have any phones in their inventory, I am not that worried about not getting the phones too much. I guess, unlike the other carriers, Tmo doesn't want to give an ETA until they actually receive some inventory that they can allocate to orders. It is most frustrating though.

Hopefully they have a plan for all this backordered madness or they will have a lot of upset people. I am sure they have a reason behind how they sell their Pre ordered phones.

Which makes sense since T-Mobile is promising JUMP! upgrades up through tomorrow will get shipping priority. I guess they probably will have to take devices from standard upgrades and possibly new lines to satisfy JUMP! upgrades first.

iPhone 6 plus
16 GB
Space Grey

Ordered through T-Mobile store at around 4 PM ET. No ETA. My order history says "EIP Pending Approval" Very disappointed that T-Mobile didn't have their preorders rolling at 3 ET. I stayed up until 5 ET, then quit.

UPDATE: Just called t-mobile, and they said that my order is now "pending shipment". I still can't find the 6 plus on my EIP though.

So did anyone "not" get back ordered sorry if this has been asked already but until people show that they haven't we will be fine its an error on T-Mobile for communicating in that way but it is what it is.

I haven't got a back ordered email but I'm not sure because I'm a new customer so I can't see my account & look at my order to see when it will be shipped

Because I don't have a tmobile account

Not gonna lie, I'm kind of salty about the whole JUMP! priority thing. I'm a brand new T-Mobile customer and went into the pre-order thinking it would be first come, first serve. If my order gets backordered because another group gets priority, that's fine-- but they didn't even announce that until several hours after pre-orders opened and my order was already placed.
