I was going to order mine soon from t mobile through jump.... But I think I'm going to just wait until the supply goes up.. I mean id rather get the phone 3-4 days after I order it.. Not weeks which looks like it'll be for me if I order now!

Hey all. I pre-ordered an iPhone 6 128GB Space Gray at a T-Mobile Store Friday night. The store rep printed out an order confirmation for me, and all seems ok.
But now when I look up the order status is shows as "PartiallyCreated" with an estimated delivery date of September 14th. Obviously that is incorrect, but I was wondering if others that did walk ins to stores to do their Pre-Orders are seeing the same order status. It's also worth noting that I did this as a Jump upgrade in the store.
I haven't received texts or any sort of solid order information since it was created last night, like some of you have, so just curious...should I be worried?

I jumped online and got my email text right away but it does show shipping the 14th odd

I also went instore and used jump. Mine showed partially ordered all of yesterday, and today it shows backordered BUT my shipping date is still the 14th. What really throws me off is the fact that the store called me and told me that my order has shipped so I should be receiving soon. (the entire time I was thinking, "no way in hell that's possible") but it would be a pleasant surprise if it showed up before Friday :p

I just spoke to a customer service rep and she said it shows backordered because apple hasn't shipped them their phones yet. So I confirmed with her they are showing backordered because they aren't in your system yet, not because they are all sold out? She said correct.

So Pissed...

So I found out, my EIP was never added or placed on my order. Even though past reps had told me they sent the email to me. Now, the specialist said, T-mobile cannot do anything to fix it. I can only start a new order at the back of the line.... I told her, so I just wasted 10 hours and a big part of weekend for nothing? She said "Sorry". I even asked her for free shipping or an accessory to heal the pain, and still nothing. I had to pay expedite shipping out of pocket just to get a jump in line. I don't know how I feel about T-Mobile anymore.

Oh by the way, the specialist told me that Jump orders aren't necessary getting a spot ahead.

It was more of a PR stunt. All orders are backordered, even jump orders. All will be shipped in the order that they came. Everybody is **** out of luck in T-Mobile.

They say they're prioritizing JUMP! upgrades, so you're most likely better off ordering it now then waiting weeks for T-Mobile to get them back in stock.

The Specialist that i just spoke too said that is not true. All orders come in the way they are processed, even through Jump.

I don't know who to believe anymore. Everyone at T-mobile is saying something else.

Getting worried. Just called t-mobile, and they said that my order is now "pending shipment". I still can't find the 6 plus on my EIP though, and my order status says "EIP pending". Should I be worried?

Maybe that rep didnt know what they were talking about ?

Not gonna lie, I'm kind of salty about the whole JUMP! priority thing. I'm a brand new T-Mobile customer and went into the pre-order thinking it would be first come, first serve. If my order gets backordered because another group gets priority, that's fine-- but they didn't even announce that until several hours after pre-orders opened and my order was already placed.

That was because JUMP! users weren't able to order until several hours after pre-orders start due to their systems being down. I'm sure T-Mobile wanted it to be first come, first serve for everyone, but since JUMP! users got screwed at the beginning, T-Mobile is trying to rectify that. I doubt T-Mobile had any plans to specialize JUMP! upgrades and this was a reactive solution.

Also, it would have severely hurt the JUMP! program for T-Mobile if they didn't do something like this. I would have left JUMP! and I am sure many others would have as well, and the negative PR from the JUMP! fiasco would have greatly discouraged new people from signing up after hearing that JUMP! caused people to miss out on receiving the new iPhone at launch.

And this sums it up right here. This is a business move by TMO. It's all about the $$. Forget the folks that have been doing business with you for years (been a customer for over a decade now). This is entirely a "carrier" move, IMO.

Hopefully those of us regular customers that got our orders in right away on Friday morning will get them shipped quick. I'm not entirely discouraged b/c I realize that they don't have their stock in yet, so the backordered status is normal. But it'll be interesting to see what happens next week when their stock arrives and who gets prioritized shipping.

T-Mobile rep just said I had to wait until the 19th to sign my EIP online??? WTF!

To be honest I'm not gonna even stress this anymore. Not even a week ago I wanted this phone my heart was on the note 4 but I guess I fell into the hype, it comes when it comes!

You're probably going through the same thing I did. They kept on "Sending" me EIP forms which I never received. Finally after the 6th call in less than 24 hours. One tells me, I will not be getting an EIP form because I did not order one with installments which is BS but whatever.
I re did my order about 20 minutes ago. It arrives on the 20th, I picked expedite shipping so that helped. The funny thing is, it arrives faster than my original order that I made the second the pre-orders went live lol.

Aye what a mess. I think it's still because the phones aren't in their inventory yet. What another rep just told me as I am on the phone once again.
Some of these customer service reps are very rude'

Status "Order Placed"

I'm a new customer, switching over from ATT. I put my order in at 4:30am PDT Friday, which was the earliest I could get through to the site. 1 iphone 6 and 1 6+. Order completed within 5 minutes, even with signing the virtual docs.

My order status says, "order placed"...I did not receive a back ordered email/txt as of sat afternoon. Just a point of reference for others who are wondering what's going on. I have no clue either, but we'll see what happens this comkng week.

Yeah, me too. Also switching from ATT. Put my order in a couple hours before you on Friday...also the earliest I could get in. Got the stupid credit card error (please check your info, enter another card etc.) for about an hour straight..finally went through and has been sitting with a status of "Order Placed" since then. No backorder email/txt for me either.

I also have an order in w/ ATT. I stayed up on Thursday night like many others and kept refreshing the TMO site. Eventually got frustrated and ordered from ATT at ~1:30 AM but hate them with a passion so unless the ship dates are drastically different, will cancel with them. Don't have a lot of faith in either since the ship date from ATT says "11/09/2014 To 11/27/2014". NOVEMBER!!?? As with others, I am a bit frustrated with the whole situation. Particularly when the carriers keep saying "first come, first serve" but radically incosistent shipping estimates seem to indicate otherwise.

I have been through this before, know that the ship dates may change...for the better or worse. That's exactly why I usually try to avoid the drama associated with a new launch and just wait until they are generally available. But this time, my old 4s may not make it that much longer so I tried to get in early.

I think that at this point we should all just wait until later in the week because right now it feels like T-Mobile is telling customers anything they want to HEAR to placate them instead of the truth, which most simply is probably "We Don't Know". I just got off the phone with a rep and she said that as of right now they really have no way of knowing which pre-orders will get where and when until around the 16th-17th because Back-order means they have no physical inventory as of right now. She guestimated (with an emphasis on GUESS, which I did appreciate) that because of the time period of my pre-order (8:30am EST) I was looking at around the 25th, when I asked her if that was taking my expedited shipping into account (which I paid $24.99) she said It most likely would be on or a day after the 19th (which is what my original rep told me) So I was more inclined to believe her because her straightforward answers and honesty...

I really am hoping that the JUMPING of the line that the JUMP customers get doesn't screw over us other customers too bad. Like I said I understand the need for T-Mobile as a business to prioritize them as they got a RAW deal out the gate but I also understand that if the pre-order process had gone as advertised and everybody had been on a level playing field as of 3:01am yesterday then this wouldn't have happened...

just spoke to T-Mobile , The guy said my phones are preparing for shipment . He said that all the phone are on back order because when the orders are places the system is checking the inventory and since the systems detects that there are no phones in the inventory it automatically says its back ordered . He said that the back ordered status is nothing to worry about.

Specialists don't lie

I hope so, she was a specialist though. I would hope that specialists do know what they are talking about.

Yeah, cuz I have never been given incorrect information from anyone with the word "Specialist" in their title. ;-)

That's what I was told also about the backorder part.
