Weird, now I can't get status via online chat. They just say I have to call in to telesales. (this is the first time I tried online chat support)
 
Yea, I've got nothing at all. The rep I talked to was SUPER nice. Liked her a lot.

The thing is I don't want a credit or discount. I don't want to be one of those people that screams and cries to get something special. All I want is some info. That's it. Don't even need the phone right now. Just need SOMETHING concrete.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, wants and needs etc...List goes on and on... God bless America! :D:cool:;)

I'm still not able to message anyone here and don't want to put him on blast. Sorry. But, I started out emailing John last Saturday, and had a response from one of his executives. I emailed him again on Thursday and he responded back about 4 hours earlier. What's weird is that while the responses are very similar to the canned responses that others have gotten, mine were personalized to respond to my questions. I didn't ask for any extras (credits, free phone, etc.), but also wasn't given any promises as to the exact date my phone would be here.

From what I can tell, it sounds like they're starting to get their responses more in-line with each other so that people aren't getting different info from different people. Good in theory but the answer they've chosen now is the open-ended, sometime in 6 weeks answer or something close to it.

My rep that I talked to this morning had been OOO until today and said that she was given a new response to use when people were calling about the iPhone. So my guess is that went out company wide and are sticking to it.

Which size are you going with man? i'm still undecided between 6 or 6 plus cause of the screen size!

I picked up my plus yesterday morning and I Have been playing around with it for a day and I absolutely LOVE it!
The screen is gorgeous, and it is so sweet to actually be able to see a lot of things clearly now. Yes it's true, one handed use is out the window, but I find myself adapting already. This thing rocks.
 
Tmobile must have got more 6+ 128 GB in. My card just got charged a little while ago for my order. Shipping out soon or tonight I hope. Dont give up everyone. I think more are on the way!

Just got off the phone with tmobile.. I was ready to argue but the reps were too nice so I just couldn't do it.. But I did express my feelings towards this whole pre-order fiasco and how us jump customers were supposed to be prioritized and how that was a joke..

One rep said it's in backorder and might not get the phone until 6 weeks from now.. The other said it should be out of backorder status within the next 10 days.. I think both answers are complete BS..

I think after 10 years of service I deserve a little better..

Same here. That's all I want so I can stop worrying about it. It's unfinished business as far as I'm concerned. The fact I can probably go out to stores today and grab an iPhone (probably from a T-Mobile store) is what's bothering me too ;)

Had some things provided that was meant to pacify my, but seeing that everyone else has their crap. *Well people that placed orders completely after me* have their crap....

I am scheduled for delivery today, order shows in PHX and in transit. Don't know if they are distributing to all the PHX hubs then delivering or delivering all from the main hub, so keeping an eye on things. Saw earlier someone east coast did get their Saturday delivery.

Go get one in store and whenever your package arrives just reject the package and you're good to go

I have friends on AT&T and Verizon, their preorder hasn't been perfect, but not as rough as T-Mobiles, though this was their first big Apple preorder...still you would think they would have learned something from the others bad preorder messes.... Well lets hope they get some new software and network infrastructure engineers to get things ready for the next one. ;)
 
My ups shipping is in my city now. Ups just updated shipping from today by 12pm to monday by 1pm. What a waste of another day waiting at home!

Just judging by stock at the Apple Store yesterday, it's pretty clear that A) there were very few iPhone 6+ available for launch day. Only a handful compared to the stock of regular 6. B) sprint and t-mobile barely got any at all-- they were completely gone when I stopped by in the morning yesterday. The bulk were AT&T and Verizon. Even the regular 6, which there were still tons of for AT&T/ Verizon, had only a few left for T-Mobile / Sprint. (This is exactly how things went with the gold 5s last year, too. A pittance of their first supply was T-Mobile. Most of it AT&T / Verizon I was the first T-Mobile customer in line and they did not have a single good 5s. Talk about disappointment).

While not terribly clear in what your rep said, that's about all there is to it-- there's limited supply and a lot of demand for the 6+, and all T-Mobile can do is wait until they get more from the manufacturer.

The only people that can estimate that timeframe are Apple, and I don't know what info they give T-Mobile.

At the end of the day, it's like this: for the time being, while T-Mobile is #4, they apparently get the least amount of consideration from Apple in terms of device allocation. Maybe it's proportional to their size / need-- I don't know, I can't guess at that. But it sure feels like T-Mobile is bottom priority for Apple.

The amusing thing is that, when I was in line for the 5s, and people were finding out they might not be able to get what they wanted (32gb silver was hot too), they were getting impulsively angry and threatening to switch to Android. Attitude is awfully familiar...

Anyways. I know T-Mobile has not handled this as well as they could have in terms of ordering experience (JUMP customers not being able to order the 6 initially is downright embarassing, etc) managing expectations and communication (clearly reps up to execs had misinformation), but part of this is probably out of their control in terms of what and how much stock Apple gives them and where they fall on the priority list.

I'll tell you what, though. My experience, granted, has been better than those who had orders cancelled, couldn't order at all, or who could order but never had an estimated delivery date. My estimated delivery date was the 29th, so I'm pleasantly surprised that it's coming earlier. But had those things still been smooth for everyone , people would still be upset about their estimated delivery dates, because like other carriers, they're going to be conservative since manufacturing is outside their control. (Same thing happens on AT&T-- a customer will be told "weeks" and then orders will ship in less time-- maybe even days.)

So yeah. T-Mobile needs to own their crap. But much of the waiting and unknown is sheer demand vs limited supply.
 
And its not that I need the phone right now, I have my HTC M8 that is working fine is just the fact that we were all lied to that gets me upset

If this was the first time t-mobile bungled a launch, I'd be perfectly fine. This is actually the third launch where this has occurred. And it wasn't an apple specific launch surprisingly!

One was for the dell venue pro, the last one was the galaxy s4, and now it's the iPhone 6 plus.

Exact same situation.

At what point (in the span of four years and multiple launch blunders) will tmobile get their act together?
