Pending Shipping 09/12/2014 at 05:10:08 AM

Status shows backordered. I also see no delivery date. Though the time says 5:10am, I ordered it on the phone around I believe that is PST and my actual order time was 8:10am EST (when I digitally signed the EIP).

I have no delivery date shown at all...

iPhone 6 Plus - 64gb - Space Gray

Edit: On the phone when I ordered, they also lied to me and told me I was guaranteed to receive it day 1. When I looked online, they ordered it as ground shipping. Now if I want to switch to overnight, I have to cancel and reorder... wtf Tmobile.

Same for me. Exact same story, to the "T"

Absolutely infuriating. Had I know this was to come I would have got my lawn chair and camped out in front of the store.

Where did you check the Status? (back order). Mine just says pending shipping as of 6:49AM yesterday. The T-mobile rep said that its been processed and that I'll be charged for it when the thing is ready to ship which should occur with delivery around the 19th.

Under the my.tmobile.com site I saw an alert. I checked it, and at the top of the order information it says backordered. Though it shows pending shipment in the box, outside it will show next to a checkmark backordered.

Mine switched to backorder this morning but still says estimated delivery of 9-20

Did anyone receive a text message recently (today around 8AM EDT) saying "Thanks for your device upgrade!"

This is such a mess.

Did anyone receive a text message recently (today around 8AM EDT) saying "Thanks for your device upgrade!"

This is such a mess.

Just received a text a minute ago:

Thanks for your order #. For devices that are preordered/backordered

That's it. Looks like only half of the message was delivered.

Everything has gone nice and smooth for me.. got up at 3am tried to order and couldn't went back to bed. Got up went to work ordered my phone (after a few attempts at the website) now i'm sitting back (with my LG G3) waiting for my new iPhone to ship. Nice job T-Mobile.

Yep its true I didn't call T-Mobile yelling at people for something that is out of their control. They are just regular people like us doing a JOB. People attitudes today are unreal. It makes it embarrassing sometimes to live in the US, bunch of spoiled babies (Rumors won't let me post what I really think). I swear some of you got to be 12 GROW UP.

I haven't received that message yet. However, the line of ******** from the retention department is that all pre-orders are "first come, first serve."

Order placed for a 6+ 64gb Gray on 9/12 @ 7:30am EST, UPS Express. This is an upgrade for an existing line. My status is "Backordered" with no delivery estimate at all. At the time, the CSR said all orders were "first come, first served". We'll see. I'm eager to get my new toy, but I'm not freaking about it. What happens happens. Next week will be interesting, that's for sure!

My alert just says backordered but it also says pending shipment on 9/19. I was told on the phone mine would ship on the 19th. I spoke with t mobile yesterday and they told me they are fulfilling their own orders so they have to receive the devices first and then proceed to ship hem out. Also, I was never offered express shipping as well. They are so lucky it's cheaper service for me.

Ok I ordered my iPhone 6+ on 9/12 at 12:01 am eastern! I didn't wait till 3am and my order supposedly went through. I received an email later on that morning saying my order was on back order. Im pretty sure the back order thing is going to change in the next few days so I think we should all stop worrying.

Thanks. Mine says "order in progress" in the alerts area, and the same pending shipping in the orders area. I did get a message today that reads " Thank you for your order #2....For devices that are Pre-ordered/Backordered"

I ordered a 6+ 64gb Space Gray on 9/12 at 6:52 A.M. CST with express shipping. Like you this is an upgrade to an existing line. My status is also backordered with no delivery estimate. I too am also eager to get the new phone. The only thing that is pissing me off right now is that T-Mobile is saying it doesn't matter when you ordered your phone and that Jump! customers could order one today right this minute and would receive it before us. That has me ****ing livid.

To be fair, a lot of us are having genuine issues with T-mobile. I for example was told that I should expect a confirmation email shortly after placing my order at the store and would be required to confirm it (sign the contract) within 48 hours of receiving it. I called them and apparently the sales rep at the store took down my email ID wrong (even though i wrote it out on a piece of paper for her to copy) so they put me on hold while they got another email sent out to my "correct" email address. After this they screwed up my billing address and I had to call them again to have it changed (again it was the original T-Mobile rep that put my billing address wrong). In my case T-mobile screwed up on multiple things and this started when I called them on the 11th to make changes to my account which would have allowed all my family to pre-order their phones on launch day. As it turned out, they even screwed that up so I was the only person in my family that ended up pre-ordering the phone from t-mobile on launch day, and that too after 3 store visits.

I had ordered through Apple on Friday for in-store pickup because T-Mobile's site upgrade process wasn't working at the time.

Today I saw a banner on the T-mo homepage saying "Jump customers orders come first!", and since I have Jump on one of my lines I checked and, much to my surprise, according to the online store they still can ship a space gray 6+ 64gb out to me on the 19th to arrive on the 20th, so I decided to cancel the Apple order and go with this instead so they'll just take my old device and I'll pay via installments rather than all at once.

We'll see if they actually come through and ship on time or not....

Edit: (and apologies to DocFitz01, just saw your post after writing this!)

That kind of thing I can totally relate to but some of these post are just ridiculous. I think most would agree.

The issue isn't simply delayed shipment. It's the unfair treatment. I could have had the pre-order shipped and here next Friday had I stayed with AT&T or at least know I'm in line. First come, first serve. I come to T-Mobile and the first thing they do is basically say "your business isn't as important to us as the business we get from JUMP customers." I could tell you why it's absolutely critical the phone arrives as soon as possible but that isn't the point. I may have to go out and buy a phone to hold me over until this mess is sorted out. I'll wait to see what happens next week. If they screw me, I'll cancel.

I agree. Someone earlier actually suggested a class action lawsuit

"Backordered"

I actually called T-Mobile and asked if becoming a JUMP! customer would bump ne up in line despite having ordered at about 8am CST. The rep said yes, so I got JUMP! without modifying my order and I'm hoping that I get it on launch day. Fortunately I was planning to get JUMP! anyway since the handset protection is included, which I believe is normally $8.

I'm pretty sure the "Backordered" notice on all our phones is more or less a glitch, and I'm thinking it might be fixed after this Sunday when they finish prioritizing JUMP! customers.

I had a friend who ordered a 5S last year, and it said backordered, but he received it right on time.

Sure, it's annoying that the system is saying that, but I think it might be inaccurate.

In all honesty, I know T-Mobile has botched this quite a bit, but shouldn't you be looking at the overall service of the carrier and how it meets your needs over the quality of service on a one time event that is so overbearing on servers that almost nobody was able to handle it very well?

If its so severely critical that you receive the phone on time (which I'm not sure why it is when you could get literally any other phone immediately if you /really/ needed one), then why wouldn't you have tried to use Apple's website? If it wasn't urgent enough to deal with Apple who guarantees dates, then I'm not sure what the big deal is considering how popular this phone is.

We all want our phones but I think a lot of people need to step back. They are phones, not lifesaving transplants that we need immediately.

Just called T-Mobile and you sir got spun like a top. Jump! only applies if you already had Jump! on the account. You can't just at it and gain the priority, also Jump! requires that you trade in your prior phone.

I did a straight preorder over the phone on Friday morning

and a JUMP! preorder in the store on Saturday afternoon.

Very varied results.

I'm on the JUMP program as well. I had an HTC ONE M8 and they paid off half of what it cost me (which is $318). They are selling for around $400. I'm losing about $100 going through JUMP but I guess that's ok since I don't have to bother going through the whole selling and shipping process.

I really enjoyed the M8 and some would say I'm downgrading to the 6+ (lack of 4 cores, screen resolution downgrade, etc). That may be but I've always enjoyed the Apple ecosystem and told myself I'd go back when the screen size increased.
