T-Mobile.com preorder thread

Another morning, another disappointment :(. Are planes coming in everyday from China with iPhones? I'm still clinging on to the shred of hope that ups will ship Monday and arrive Tuesday
 
Eventually their barbaric way of "priotizing" people will come to us. Because it clearly means that JUMP users who pre ordered on Friday go last.
 
Pure awesomeness! Nothing created for me! ordered at 5:30am Pst. contacted tmobile csr, legere, tmobile help, even messaged an executive. People after me here are still getting something on ups mychoice my just says ">>>UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Verify your information and try again.

Does anyone know if a Verizon iphone 6+ will work on tmobile if I just put in a tmobile SIM card?

There's atleast 4 planes coming in everday from china... It's usually about 5 or 6 airplanes

Same here. Ordered on the 12th around 2PM No news or movement at all except for the Pre-Order change. No clue what's going on at this piont!

Yes, it will. I'm using one right now. All Verizon devices now are factory unlocked, and they support all GSM LTE bands.

Just swap the SIM, and you're golden.

It is, perhaps, the best model to get! My iP5S was a Verizon device too.

I'm interested in this as well. M5, there was some chatter a few pages back about the vzw phone being locked to their network. Did you purchase yours outright or on contract? From the apple store or from vzw?

Absolutely. There is no difference between the Verizon, TMO and ATT models...except the Verizon iPhone has the CDMA radio enabled in addition.

The GSM models come with CDMA disabled. That's all!

On contract, but will cancel and pay ETF. If you walk in to an Apple Store and they happen to have said model in stock, you can buy it outright. I didn't wanna risk it so bought it online where you can't purchase it needs an existing or new Verizon account.

I will have paid no more than the MSRP of the device ( 128 GB PLUS )

So on apple when it says that it's CDMA only phone it won't work with tmobile? Cuz that's what I see when I configure the phone under verizon buying at full retail at apple.com

A once you pay off the ETF you can cancel your contract (month to month contract?)

Of course, they won't advertize it as compatible or unlocked. Verizon is required by law to keep their device factory unlocked! Ignore that CDMA comment, look at the spec details on Apple's website.

I guarantee you it will work on TMO with zero limitations! Heck, the Verizon model fetches a higher resale value too because of this !

Been using it since 5S, with no issues and everything works!

Things like this is why i'm mad! How do you get yours shipped before people that ordered hours before you! Man this is just not right! Good for you though!

Cuz there's a Verizon 6+ I can get right now and just cancel my tmo preorder.
 
Awesome sauce. Got an email from T-Mobile this morning that my payment is being processed for my SG 6+ and one form UPS saying it's coming tomorrow morning. Excited.

Anyone got news to share? New texts? Updated status?
 
So you're saying I could walk into a Verizon store, sign a contract and buy a phone, then cancel contract, pay ETF and use the phone on Tmobile.
 
I got my order in at 4:21am on the 12th. Got a gold plus 16gb, still nothing on my account just says "preordered" I'm very disappointed I was one of the first people to order and I'm still waiting.

I called them, and told them I was unable to put an order through on the tmo website....it took the lady a while while she had me on hold, but I think it was due to the fact I am a tmo customer for 10 years...just a guess

Congrats dude!! I'm starting to get more and more frustrated lol I'm thinking about going and buying a Verizon 6+ and just popping in my tmo SIM card lol
