So you're saying I could walk into a Verizon store, sign a contract and buy a phone, then cancel contract, pay ETF and use the phone on Tmobile.

For the past two nights, Apple has been updating it's store inventory real time on the web. They are allowing you to order and reserve for pickup in store, if that store has the model you want.

Also, feel free to walk in and see if the B&M store has the model in stock, and walk out paying outright.

Buy and reserve for pickup online (Apple.com), you must sign a contract. No option to buy it outright.

Walk in to a store and they have the model you need and pay it outright, no contract or account required.
 
$300 for 16gb+ and $350 ETF. It would be cheaper than buying from tmobile even if you factor in paying for the first month of service.

More like, 300 + 35 activation fee + first month's plan ( cheapest is $55 ) + some proration on next month's charge and the ETF

Keep your TMO preorder. If it comes in within 14 days, you can return the Verizon phone to Apple and cancel service. Zero charge to you, except blocking your money for a few days while the refund occurs.

And the retail price of the same phone on tmobile is $750.

I guess if you don't mind the extra work involved in canceling and switching etc, it's a good option.

I swear they have no 16GB 6+ phones.

I ordered in store 9/12 at 3pm because online was a total mess for me, EIP, Non-JUMP.

Almost every day I get to see people who ordered way after me, get their phones or shipping notices for their 64GB+ orders.

All I got was the 9/22 - 9/30 email. No charge on CC for tax, not even a pre-auth.

Emailed John Legere Friday no response yet.

If Apple isn't shipping 16GB+ phones to them, they should allow us to change to the 64GB model. This is getting ridiculous.

People with the 64gb model aren't much better off either.... I'm in the same boat you are and I ordered on the 12th, too :/
 
Do you even have to sign a contract if you pay full retail? A 2 year contract is only required for subsidized phones.

Idk.. i may just call in to apple and ask them.

I also ordered the 16g plus on the 12th and haven't got a tracking number I called a TMobile stores here in AZ and they said they didn't get any plus
 
If you email JL, you will hear from T-Mobile. I sent 2 emails yesterday. 1st was nice, 2nd not so much.

Just had a call from a very nice Exec office person. They don't have a clue about how things are going from our end. We had such a nice chat, I even told her about UPS MyChoice. She knew nothing of Customer Care folks telling us 'up to 8 weeks.' She gave me all the same info we've all been hearing, including my MOST RECENT UPDATED INFO, that since I rec'd the 9/22 text, I will be getting a text from Tmo with my shipping info in the next few days.

She wanted so badly to make me feel good about being a Tmo customer, I didn't have the heart to tell her that UPS sent me a shipping email about 7 hrs. ago and my phone should be here tomorrow.

Exactly my point. 64GB actually seems to have some supply. I'm normally patient but I'm phone less until my 6+ arrives, that doesn't help much.

Sorry, that sucks. I would be happy to change my order to any other configuration at the moment, if I knew when it was arriving.
 
So one of Legere's called me. Apparently there is nothing they can do except give us a decent amount of credit towards our phone bill, and inform me that everyone is getting overnight expedited shipping- that includes Saturday & Sunday.

But it could take 1-6 weeks she said.

I was late to the pre-order game and ordered in store on the 16th. I am a new customer switching from AT&T. I've signed all paperwork, received a sim card and phone number and am just patiently waiting for my 64gb 6+ to arrive. It's been 5 days and all I've received is an order number via email. No money has been taken from my bank account. All I can do is keep checking this page (https://www.t-mobile.com/orderstatus/default.aspx) but I get nothing. Just an error saying the page can't load.

Charge preauthorized on my card on 9/19. Received text message from Tmobile today at 6:56pm with tracking number. No tracking information yet, however. Looks like label was just generated.


Woohoo 64GB gold 6+ will be arriving tomorrow via Next Day air. Ordered with Ground shipping. I'm looking forward to tomorrow :)
