Went and checked out a 6+ at the Apple Store just now. Absolutely gorgeous. Really debating bumping up to a 128GB 6+ SG. Wonder if I can or if I'd get one faster.
 
Do you mind sharing a screenshot of the ups webpage? If not can you tell me if it says "shipped" or "ready for ups" on the UPS webpage?

Mine says what a regular UPS package would say

Weird... I have a gold iPhone 6 coming from TMobile.com and it says it shipped.
Even gives me a delivery estimate of TODAY by end of day.

But when I check the tracking number, this is all I see... weird?

Couple of questions, since I have the same exact label and delivery date.

1) Did you also order the cell-spot wifi router ?

2) When you click on ' tracking details' what is the package weight ?

Wow. Yeah this is cray cray.

However I wrote a nice, pleasantly frustrated email to John Legere. He called me yesterday during dinner (wasn't expecting that), and personally apologized. And then he forwarded me to exec rep Allison. She credited me 2 months of bill, upgraded me to overnight (for when it becomes available), gave me the router, and told me that if UPS tries to charge me for changing my address (since the store goofed it up) that she'd credit me back double what they charged.

I'm hoping for the Thursday shipping date though. The source code in my account now says 25th.

Wow, very nice. It certainly seems like they're doing their best to make amends. I'd take two months free, haha!

One tiny thing: All of the iPhone preorders are getting upgraded to overnight shipping.
 
well, i just got off of the phone with a representative and she said some alarming things. i pre ordered a 16gb silver Plus on the 12th, and like most people got quoted a 9/25 delivery date. i just selected ups ground since i was doing a free upgrade i wanted to keep it as cheap as possible. so at that point my order status was back ordered because tmobile didnt receive any phones yet.

then a few days later my order status changed to pre ordered. i was excited, because i really didnt have faith in the whole 9/25 delivery date i was quoted. but since my status changed i assumed everything to be all good. then i get an email saying im on back order status again and my expected delivery date is between 9/22-9/30 which again i was cool with.

so i figured if i was to have a delivery date between those dates and i used ups ground i should atleast be receiving my tracking info or something by now. so i called tmobile. when i spoke to the representative the first thing she told me was that all back orders will be shipping out in 6 weeks. so i went off. i was like how, i ordered on the 12th as soon as they were available. so she gave me the whole apple didnt expect this many people to pre order the 6 plus so inventory was way down and they were expecting a new shipment in 6 weeks. i was blown away by that statement. i couldnt believe what i was hearing.

so i got her to transfer me to a supervisor and i got a bit of good news. well the supervisor told me that the representative was wrong in what she was saying. whats actually going on is that that receive new phones everyday and peoples orders are getting fulfilled everyday. its still first come first serve. so depending on when you pre ordered your order will be sent out. the whole 6 weeks thing is for people who are pre ordering now and the last few days. so people who were not sure when you will be receiving your phone, your original quote might still stand true.

What code? I think I want a 64gb + gold now but I'm waiting on a 16gb + SG :rolleyes:
 
If you already signed the EIP, you won't be able to cancel it. You're going to have to refuse the order and send the phone back. That's what they told me when I tried to cancel so I could go in the store and buy one

the rep on the phone asked me if i wanted them to call a local tmobile store for me and i could go there and pick one up. she said they would cancel i eip and i could reset it up at the store. but the closest tmoblie store to me is about a 40 min drive and im not going for that. so you should call and tell them you want to do that.

Good luck getting one in store. Went for my husband yesterday and they were out so they placed an order for one with free overnight shipping. God knows when we will get it though. While placing order they showed stock in warehouse but once order was placed they said it is back ordered.

If I'm looking in the right place, the coding on my page says shippingDueToday.. I still don't beleieve it until I get a tracking number or an actual charge
 
Does anyone know how long an order put through now will take? I am wondering for a friend--if ordering online today or tomorrow will take 4 weeks for a 6.

Given their general incompetence so far, I'm now worried about whether they really have upgraded all preorders to next day shipping. My order status still says UPS Ground, but I'm also afraid to bug them about that since who knows how badly they'll mess up my order if they try to go in and fix it.
 
Hopefully my final update, this may not make people happy but you should know this when talking to Customer Reps.

9/17 - Did a JUMP order online for 2 phones:
iPhone 6 64Gb Gold
iPhone 6+ 128Gb Space Grey
Said it was processing

9/19 - Called customer rep to get a better idea when they would arrive since they hadn't updated. At first she said my order was cancelled. Then she says 'Oh you're lucky, it says processing and not backordered. Some people who ordered on the 12th are backordered"... I ask how that's possible, she had no idea. Tells me to call later in the day since the system was slow and it may be updated later in the day

9/19 - Call later, I am told that now I am 8 weeks backordered for 6+ and 4 weeks for the 6. Not upset by the time but more by the uninformed Reps, I just wanted the truth. I check my CC and it says it was charged for both orders. Emailed the Executive team to ask why Tmobile was charging me now yet i wasn't going to get them for 6 to 8 weeks?

9/20 - Early AM, get a text saying the iPhone 6 is being shipped, and it appeared in UPS tracking showing Monday delivery.

9/20 - PM, get a call from Executive team saying that they are trying to handle this and want to make everything right for their customers. Apologizes for the confusion and tells me that the iPhone 6 will be there Monday, but the iPhone 6+ is 6 weeks backordered. I say that's acceptable, I just wanted the most updated info. I also ask why people who ordered on the 12th have no idea what's going on, no credit card charges, no info. I tell him to look at the MacRumors thread. He says that they are aware of that and trying to resolve the issue. Also gives me a credit

9/20 - Late PM, get a text message saying iPhone 6+ is being shipped. UPS shows arrival date of Monday

Today - 2 packages arrived at my apartment office, haven't opened them yet so I am hoping that everything is ok with them.

I will say that Tmobile screwed up, but I feel like they are really trying to do right by their customers, especially if you contact them and let them know the status.

Hope everyone gets their phones ASAP!
 
I'm a new customer to T-Mobile. I signed up for EIP.

How do I search on UPS by reference if I don't have the phone number yet?

I tried entering the order number but that didn't work.

Any suggestion?
 
who are these executives that you all keep speaking of. i need to talk to one of them. there is no way that the guy above me ordered on the 17th and got his, i ordered on the 12th and haven't even been charged yet.
 
Are those of us in the 64gb 6+ jump camp who received the "shipping 9/22-9/30" text STILL in the dark? I've got no communication since then, no charges, no shipping, etc.

Executive office called and said we should get them within the 22-30 timeframe but that's all I've gotten and I'm not sure I believe it.
