Exactly the same phones I ordered lol. I guess it wouldn't be proof that my first order is messed up since I ordered a different phone the second time but I thought I might have a better shot getting the 64gb+ gold version than the 16gb+ SG!

lol The waiting game begins, I figure we have a 50/50 chance at this point. Also just got an email that my second order has been processed, whatever that means.
 
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question haha.. you switched to Verizon or you bought the phone there and still with tmo?

I've been with T-Mobile for 12 years. I cannot afford Verizon's prices. I did this with my iPhone 5 but I've seen people do this with the 6 & 6 Plus. You just pay FULL PRICE for the 6 / 6 Plus and no contract is needed. The phone is yours and you can stick any SIM you wish.

iPhone 6 & 6 Plus are equipped to use all LTE bands but T-Mobile's 2nd band.
 
don't understand how Jump is a priority. Went into the store on Sunday I jumped but i'm on backorder. But my mother who opened a new line on Sunday got her 16gb 6 today.

They are prioritizing JUMP customers due to JUMP not being available the morning of preorder day. It also depends on the specific model you ordered, some phones are more popular than others and any 6+ is going to be harder to get than a normal 6.

Which is why if you order a regular 6 you have a time of around 1 week or so to get your phone but for the 6+, it's 6 weeks out possibly.
 
Hey everyone! Decided to open an account here after years of lurking lol and share my experience with t-mobile..

This is going to be long, so beware!

So on Saturday Sept. 20 around 1:30pm I went to the t-mobile store next to my neighborhood to do a Jump claim and upgrade from a 16gb 5s to 64gb+. I jumped when they first released the Jump program, meaning I can change my phone every 6 months. My 6 months went up about a month ago but I was waiting for Apple to release the iphone 6 so I waited. Saturday morning I dropped my phone and the screen shattered. I was so mad because now I had to pay the deductible as well! But whatever, so I head to the store, one of the sales associate starts doing my claim and then she gets an error saying that I've made to many claims in the past, and that I have to contact the insurance company because there's nothing they can do. Seriously?!?! I have never ever used my insurance, the only reason I have insurance is because it is included with Jump and I've never used it before!!!
So I go back home, called the insurance company, and they tell me everything is good on their end and that I should go back to the store and continue my Jump claim.
So I head back to the store, same error appearing on their screen preventing me to do a Jump claim. So I ask to speak to the manager, who was extremely nice and sweet! She was on the phone with Customer Care for almost 3 hours, the insurance company suggested to remove Jump from my account, and the manager got so mad basically told them how unethical they are for treating me like that, until they got it cleared, thank you Jesus!

But no.. This is not where it ends lol!:mad:
After almost 3 hours of the manager speaking on the phone with both Customer Care and execs of the insurance company, now it was t-mobile who apparently blocked me from getting a phone shipped and apparently I was only permitted to do a Jump switch with a phone in their in store inventory (they did not have neither the iphone 6 or the 6+). I was so frustrated that I just decided to go home and call different t-mobiles asking if they had the phone in store. Obviously they didn't. So Monday morning comes and I call the same store that helped me on Saturday and asked if they could maybe try doing it over the phone, the sales associate told me they are not supposed to do that but that he is going to try, while he is telling me all this, he also says I have to pay taxes based on the full price of the phone, so $175 deductible + $200 downpayment + taxes on full price. For me, being a college student working a part time job is too much money. Frustrated I thanked him for his time and hung up.

My dad then tells me that I could probably do it online, duh!!! Why didn't I think of this?!?!!?! So I go online and it says I am eligible for a Jump upgrade. I am not exactly sure if I did a regular upgrade or a Jump upgrade, but I only had to pay $177 including shipping.

I can finally say that I've ordered my iPhone!!!!! :D This morning my status changed from Being processed to Backordered. I'm very anxious to finally hold my Gold+ in my hands, but I guess after everything I had to do to ORDER the phone, I'm just happy that at least I know I'm gonna get it eventually! It says 1- 8 weeks... So now the waiting begings!!

Happy for you, but wouldn't surprise me at this point if you get it before we do. LOL

One more thing, when I spoke to the Executive team on Sunday, they said they have two groups of people, "Priority Backorder" and regular "Backorder".

Those with priority are JUMP and got the text 9/22-9/30. Those people, like me, will get the phone once inventory comes in.

The others are at the back of the line and probably 6 weeks out.

I Hope you're right about Jump being priority of the priority but I'm jump and I got the 1-2 day note not the 9/22-9/30 note, Are we still trusting TMO w/ their mumbo JUMP-OS?
 
I'm pretty close to losing all hope, since nothing has updated this week. Thinking about canceling my order altogether and staying on my 5S. :(


That's what I was thinking yesterday...so today I ordered another phone this is making me manic depressive lol
 
Nothing new for me today. Thought by now something would have happened. No label, no charge, no status change. Still backordered and you're a priority to us.

And still more 16gb + phone orders go out before mine. lol. Unreal.

1) both would probably show up on the same day, and I'd have to pay restocking to return one OR
2) they'd cancel one of the orders, whichever one is closer to being delivered

I ordered a 6+/64GB/SG... does anyone think that it would work better if I ordered a 128GB model instead?

Both ordered the 6 only difference was mine is a 64gb guess they only 16s to ship :confused:

Iphone 6 plus update

I just talked to live chat, I ordered myne on the 12th at three am with next day shipping. The representative told me they dont have any stock and assured me I would recieve it in a SIX WEEK time frame!!!
 
ordered 9/12, Jump, Overnight, got B/O, 9/22-9/30! still no CC charge. All my coworkers got theirs and they ordered way after I did! BBB, is my only channel left! they should go through orders in ORDER! this is so messed up!

statistically, you have better chance with the 128gb... please don't ask me how I came up with that formula though.
 
Jump Pre-order Cancellation question-

Has anyone cancelled their jump pre-order? I ordered the Unicorn (SG 6+ 64gb) and just went into best buy and handled one. It may be too big. I am also hearing stories of people bending this phone in their front pocket!

Does anyone think that if you cancel a 6+ pre-order and order a regular six now it will get here sooner? Are the regular 6's that much more common?

Yes! you could probably walk into a tmobile store and get one today! call your stores in the area.

I have seen Six's in store. I've been told they are receiving no plus'.

Called both tmo stores around me and yeah they have tons of 6 regulars of all memory sizes. They were only out of space grey in 1 size like 64gb or something at 1 store. Not a single plus was even given to those 2 stores. They don't even have a demo for their store yet.
 
Just go off the phone with an executive and she told me that since I ordered on the 12th and am a Jump customer that my phone was on partial back order. She said that I should get it before the 30th assuming they get the next batch in stock. She was very sorry that she could not do anymore for me. She also said they are looking into how certain people got phones out of order, she is not sure how it happened but said they want to learn from the mistake. Overall, I am glad she called to put me at ease and subside my anger. Here is to hoping that the phone comes in sooner rather than later.

Ordered iPhone 6+ 64gb, SG, ordered 12th at 6pm, back ordered 13th at 3am.
