It really is!! The speeds are pretty damn good!! Lol

I'm going to be hooking mine up to a cable modem i get 15mbps Internet speed. My modem constantly craps out and can't handle all my devices. So You know If This Router Will Help make Everything Run smoothly?

Haven't been charged :( no movement on my order at all.. I think today's the day that I just drop all my patience, and sympathetic tone towards my exec rep and other team members who've promised me that I was going to be charged, and my phone would ship yesterday. This process is driving me crazy, I can't wait to call them up later, when they're finally in their offices lol.

If you have an all-in-one modem/router from AT&T or Comcast, make sure you put it in "Bridge" or "Pass Through" mode. I had to call Comcast to do it to mine but it literally took 2 minutes.

I have a very crapy time warner cable one. I may have to do that but I'm going to have to look up how.

Went from the standard Xfinity router w/ 45mbps to T-Mobile's w/ 120+mbps.

Now I'm going to have to call and see if I can get one. Was hesitant about getting one, but I guess I'll try it.

Sidenote: I've been lurking on the MacRumors site for about 2 years now and this whole T-Mobile pre-order disaster is what it took for me to register and start posting.

I'd go for a beer but that'll have to wait until after 5p. :p

Really regretting not going all out and getting the 128GB 6+. Too late now though. Can't cancel the order so guess I'll have to hold out for the 16GB.

You can always refuse delivery on the 16gb.

If you bridge it you put the new router far from the previous one to reach everywhere in ur house right? What's the point of bridging?

Basically, if you bridge it, you just plug the new router into one of the ethernet ports on the back of your modem/router combo. It turns off the native WiFi and makes your new router the main WiFi for your house.

You could just leave both on but you probably won't get the speeds that you could if you just bridged it. The routers combos supplied by most cable providers try to do everything but don't excel at any one thing. A dedicated router, especially one like the Asus, is built for one thing: WiFi that's fast as balls.

So how could I turn on the bridge setting for an xfinity router/modem combo?

That's good. I hope I get some better speeds because my U-Verse has been faakin up

I don't know what modem you have w/ at&t but I have a NVG589.

Disabled the wifi on that POS, hooked up the new cellspot router.

20-22 mbps via wifi w/ the 589

now seeing 35-40 w/ the cellspot. Very happy.

yall making me want to go buy this router lol. i just dont know if i could use it with bright house

Funny thing is that if you don't return it, they charge you $99. The router unbranded is like $200-$250. Pretty sure I'll just pay the fee and keep it forever.
