Depends which model you have but easiest way is to call them. They can do it over the network almost instantly.

Ok cool... Thanks for that info! Right now I set it up where the laptops and ps4 are on the xfinity one and all cell phones in the house are on the asus one. So it's better to just have everything on the asus?

The Asus is dual band too, which means you get a 2.4GHz and a 5GHz network. So you can put data heavy devices on one network and your more casual devices on the other to split the usage. I've got laptops and phones spread across both of them and it works great with everything.

Robogirl gave me a tracking number but its not working on UPS.
it starts with 1Z.. looks like this 1Z3Z89************

Then UPS says the number i have entered is not a valid tracking number... even though it follows the 1z9999999999999999 #18 number rule...

Did Robogirl actually give me a messed up tracking number?

Have you received a text?

OK I may be wrong, but I think the dual band in the router separates the devices hooked up to it by wich band they operate on ether it's 2.4ghz or 5ghz. So I think it does it on its own....maybe. .

So does being on the 2.4ghz make the internet slower for the device on that band?

From what I've read. Your phones operate on 2.4ghz that is the max they can go. There would be no point in it being on the 5ghz since it can't use the whole amount so I think it's more about optimizing witch devices can take advantage of each band.

I have a dual band router now and one day, one of the bands was not working for iPads and iPhones so I had to forget that network on all those devices. But all the computers are still working on that one...why is that? How did you decide which devices go on which network?
