I order a 6 64gb gold and a 6+ 64gb space grey Saturday at noon and both say backordered but with a delivery of 9/15/2014. No clue what that means..........

CS told me I ordered my iPhone on friday therefore it'll be included in the first batch of iPhones to get shipped.

She also said its getting shipped the 19th not delivered.:(

Just spoke to someone on chat. Not sure if this has been said before. Here's part of the chat:

Jeffrey F: Please be informed that we have a one day cut off time. If you both have made the same cut off time, then the JUMP customer will have a slight advantage when it comes to the delivery of your phones.
You: Ah ok!
Jeffrey F: If you have other questions in mind that I might be able to assist you further with, please feel free to let me know.
You: So JUMP! customers who have ordered the same day as me will have priority over me, but JUMP! customers who ordered a day after won't?
Jeffrey F: Yes, it will not pass you if the other customer is one day late in ordering the phone.

Sounds good to me, lets see how it all pans out...

Seems to make sense .

Anything a CS rep tells you is worthless. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

Looks like my ETA has also changed to 9/16... I'm just going to guess now that every day it will just basically say the ETA is the next day. Somewhat annoyed now that there's not just one time.

Yes, I had the same thing happen to the Jump! order I placed yesterday. It went from an estimated delivery of 9/15 to 9/16.

I also have a regular order that I placed at 3:30AM Pacific on 9/12 that has shown a delivery date of 9/20 since I placed it. My 1st order is among the very first placed on the site. I was logged in and part way through the upgrade process and on the "pick your device" screen and was refreshing constantly when suddenly the iPhone 6 came up.

I'm really interested to see which order gets here first.

So if I ordered at 5am PST 9/12 and a jump user ordered it 9pm PST, the jump user gets it first?

They really need to clarify a lot of this!

http://www.t-mobile.com/phone-upgrade.html

That says Jump! Customers have more priority over basic customers who ordered!

Which one is it T-Mobile!?!?
The banner says JUMP! customers will get priority shipping but it doesn't deny that priority has an interval.

Ex. Jump! Customers who ordered on the 12th>Non-JUMP! customers who ordered on the 12th>JUMP! customers who ordered on the 13th>Non-JUMP! customers who ordered on the 13th.

Don't know if that makes sense to you guys.

So if I ordered at 5am PST 9/12 and a jump user ordered it 9pm PST, the jump user gets it first?

This is the whole discussion I had about priority with him:

You: Hmm ok. One last thing, I understand JUMP! customers have priority shipping. Will they be placed before me even though I ordered very early?
Jeffrey F: Yes, they have a slight advantage to non JUMP customers. However, the said gap is not that big when in comes to delivery. It will just be a matter of hours not days.
You: Hours?
You: Not sure I understand.
Jeffrey F: Yes.
Jeffrey F: Hours means JUMP customers are ahead of delivery time than those ordered as a regular upgrade or new lines.
You: So lets say I ordered at 4am PDT and then a JUMP! customer ordered at 5am PDT, he/she would have priority. But would a person with JUMP! ordering at 1pm PDT still have priority over me?
Jeffrey F: Oh no, that will not be the case.
You: What's the case?
Jeffrey F: I'm not so sure about how it will be but JUMP customers orders are more prioritized.
Jeffrey F: Please be informed that we have a one day cut off time. If you both have made the same cut off time, then the JUMP customer will have a slight advantage when it comes to the delivery of your phones.
You: Ah ok!

You: Ok thanks! That's all!

So if I ordered at 5am PST 9/12 and a jump user ordered it 9pm PST, the jump user gets it first?

We will have to wait and see. This is all uncharted water here. Like I said above, I placed one of the very first orders on the site and then a Jump! order yesterday. We will see which comes first.

This is coming from a T-Mobile employee from the tmonews website.

Hello everyone, as a T-Mobile employee I'd like to clarify a few things. Nobody in the company knows when your phone will be shipped. The only official communication is that Jump customers who order this weekend will receive priority, meaning they are supposed to be bumped to the top of the list. No free overnight, just bump to top of the list. Nobody in retail stores, customer care, or anywhere in corporate can honestly tell you when your phone will ship. We are all confused and with system glitches the best way to process your order is in a store. Make sure you accept the EIP authorization email or it will cancel. Keep in mind retail stores are scheduled to receive phones on Thursday for sale Friday. Our warehouse ships next day air on Wednesday so we won't have phones in store until Thursday. We will most likely only sell 16gb in retail. This is the same warehouse that ships your preorder phones so I'd say earliest ship date is Wednesday. Your order will show as backordered until the phones come into the warehouse. And like I said, nobody knows the real ship dates but if you ordered early or did a Jump upgrade this weekend you'll get your phone first. If you have any questions please comment back. Good luck everyone!

Personally, I think everyone has nothing to worry about, but I figured this will help a little. :p

Interesting, just did an online chat.

9/14/14, 10:03 PM

T-Mobile: We have received your information and will connect you with a T-Mobile Chat Specialist soon.

T-Mobile: A Chat Specialist will be with you soon.

You: Hi, how are you today? Hopefully you haven't had too many people yell at
you today.

T-Mobile: A Chat Specialist will be with you soon.

DarrenR: Hi, Matthew! I hope you are doing great!

DarrenR: I know how excited you are to experience the new phone and the cool apps that come with it. I can definitely provide your
with the information on the status of your order.

DarrenR: Do you have the order number? You: Yes I do

DarrenR: Great!

You: Hold on for a moment while i find it

DarrenR: Sure thing! I can definitely wait for you.

You: Sorry about that. It is [removed]

DarrenR: That's fine. Thanks for the order number. I will go ahead and check it now.

You: The problem is, I bought it in store, and they did not have me electronically sign the EIP forms, and they didn't tell me that I needed to sign them. I finally found the email early yesterday, and signed them. Only then did the order process]\

DarrenR: Thank you so much for letting me know about that. I am so sorry to know the troubles it caused you. This is not the experience that we want to share with you, Matthew. Do not worry, I will do my best to help you out today.

DarrenR: I can see here the order has been processed and the EIP authorization that we require from you has been approved.

You: yes

You: Is the order date from Friday, the 1

You: Friday, the 12, or Saturday, the 13?

DarrenR: I can see here that order has been placed last 09/12/2014 and approved the next day, 09/13.

You: So does that put me in the Friday group or the Saturday group?

You: Do your systems for priority go based on approved date or order placement date?

DarrenR: It will be based on the date the order has been placed, Matthew.

DarrenR: I also want you to have the iPhone 6 as soon as possible. On the other hand, we do not have the exact date when you will receive the phone. Rest assured that we are working round the clock to send out the phone as quick as possible.

DarrenR: Rest assured that you will receive your new phone, Matthew. I do hope you have felt my sincere intention to help you with this concern. Do you have additional questions or concerns I can take care for you today?

You: Ok, so I am in the Friday group, correct

DarrenR: Yes, you are correct.

DarrenR: Are we all set for today?

You: Because i have been told by multiple Customer service reps that orders
placed with JUMP will be given priority for Staurday- Sunday only, is that right?

DarrenR: Yes, that is correct, Matthew.

You: So even though i signed the EIP sturdy, your system still shows my order as being placed on friday, thus having priory per people
who placed on saturday and sunday?

DarrenR: You are correct!

You: Thank you. I still do not have an estimated delivery date though. Any idea when that will change

DarrenR: You are very much welcome! I know that you are getting excited to get the phone. However, the estimated delivery date will be available from the time your order has shipped.

DarrenR: Do not worry, we will send you an email once the order has shipped as well as your tracking number to see the estimated delivery date.

You: SO my phone will be sent out in the first batch of phones, with those who ordered on friday as well?

DarrenR: You are correct!

You: Thank you for your assistance today

DarrenR: You're very much welcome. I'm glad we are able to provide all the information you needed. Thank you for choosing T-Mobile and we truly appreciate your business with us. You are our most important asset. Goodbye, Matthew!

You can't have them change the shipping method?

Personally, I think everyone has nothing to worry about, but I figured this will help a little. :p

By the sounds of this I would say the reason why those who used jump get a shipping date is because they can give some sort of estimate based on how many are sold each day. Those who just upgrade or purchase out right don't get one because as the preorders establish on a daily basis it would have to adjust the upgrades and the out right buyers for the jumpers. But overall someone has to be making sure they have enough devices. As far as actual delivery date they can't promise but it does seem like they would have enough devices for launch day.

What does this mean? Why wouldn't he get prioritization? Same employee that posted on tmonews.
