Well, everyone...

Today marks exactly 6 weeks from my order date. T-Mobile has been saying "up to 6 weeks" for getting our phones, right? Well, no dice. Unless a miracle happens today.

At least they are equal opportunity ****-you-over'ers. I thought new customers would surely get to skip to the front of the line. Guess not.

Well, I just ordered a SG 128GB non plus. Should be here this week.
Once it is here, I'm going to call and ensure someone cancels my 64GB, that way I am not gonna have to refuse shipment and await a refund

With everyone jumping ship on the 64s, surely mine will ship sooner! ;)

I was thinking the same thing ;) :D

Goodmorning MacRumorers...... Any good news for anyone? Anything at all?

Nothing here....should I be worried that absolutely nothing has changed with my order except the "backordered" on date?

They could definitely talk me into upgrading to a 128gb gold +, but only if they waived the extra $100 price AND the extra $100 down payment requirement!

I am just a few days away. If you get movement by the end of the day, then that will give me some hope. :)

Just wanted to give you guys an update on my situation...

I cancelled my 6 64GB SG order on Saturday, and re-ordered a 6 128GB SG the same day with 1 day shipping. It is out for delivery today...

CONGRATS....... My date is still on or before the 31st so I hope I get mine this week

Did your card get charged?

I didn't get charged, T-mo waived my down payment. I'm now refreshing every 15mins UPS MyChoice website to see if it was dropped at my door  :D

Alright. That's good to hear. They said mine was supposed to be waived so I'm just waiting to see

The best part is that I have over $275.00 in credits also... That's why I went ahead and got the 128gb, basically T-Mobile paid for my upgrade, and then some.

So I'm having a nightmare trying to order a 6 Plus from the T-Mobile website:

I'm switching from Verizon to T-Mobile, and on 10/20 I ordered a 128 GB SG 6+ from the T-Mobile website using their financing option. They ran my credit, everything was good, and my order went through. I wasn't given any estimated shipping date.

Today, I got a call from a T-Mobile rep telling me that my order was cancelled because the phone is currently backordered and in order for them to keep my order active, they would need to keep running my credit every 3 days to refresh the order. Since I don't have an active account, they said it is impossible to do it any other way.

They basically told me my only option would be to find the phone in an actual T-Mobile store (yeah right) and sign up that way, in addition to paying the $35.00 activation fee that would have been waived through the website. UGH.

So what are my options here? Simply to wait? Or was the explanation they gave me BS? Anyone else had this problem?

And now, a week later, I get an email from T-Mobile with an update on my (supposedly) cancelled order, telling me it will be shipped on or before 12/1. WTF is going on? Is it cancelled or not?

Meanwhile, I have an order through Apple.com (for a full-priced 128 GB 6+) that is supposed to ship in late November. I'm so confused.

My ERT is Glenn, and he sucks. All he ever does is repeat the same canned response over and over again. I missed his call yesterday so I didn't get a chance to bust his balls and try and get an upgrade to a 128GB phone for free. I wish Lisette would call me back. She was the one who called the first time and actually gave me a bill credit. I might have to try calling her back again. I still have her number and extension.

Does anyone have Jamine as their ERT?

Found this on another thread...

To reach any of these numbers, first dial 1-877-290-6323 then dial the number for the ECR you are trying to reach

341-7966 Jamie Montoyadivas

Not sure how valid this is/or isn't, but I thought I would pass it along...the actual list of extensions is as long as your arm!

I've spoken to 3 ert , Matthew, Stephanie and I want to say the 3rd one was Jason .. Stephanie just kept giving me canned responses and was of no help

Those of you who have switched their orders to the 6+ 128GB Gold:

Did any of you use Jump! when you placed your initial orders? I asked the ERT yesterday morning about switching my order to another GB model or color from the 6+ 64GB Gold and she said that it couldn't be done because I placed my order with Jump! and that it would affect my trade in. I would like to call shenanigans on her when my 72 hr follow up comes if any of you have!

Part of his is true. When you placed a JUMP! order, the system makes it almost impossible to cancel the order, and the only way to get another order in the system thru a new EIP.
So technically, you can't place a 2nd JUMP! order with the same IMEI, since the IMEI was attached to the 1st order. I hope i explained this clearly.

This is how they managed my initial JUMP! upgrade, so this is how I understand the system works on their end. There might be other ways to do it, but at least this is what they explained out to me.

Thanks chino303, I see what you mean. It still seems like they should be able to amend the original order because nothing has been assigned to me. They still get the same phone back no matter what, they just have to change what product they are giving me (/actually give me a product! lol). Jump! appears to be super not worth it. I knew I should have gone back to Verizon...

So you can cancel and replace an order with Jump. It's just very complicated. You have to make sure the ERT/CSR cancels the order for the phone, cancels the new EIP and also cancels the trade in. Once all three of these have been cancelled you have to wait a few days for JUMP to update showing that it's available again. Once that's done you can place a new order. If your ERT/CSR fails to cancel any of those three then you end up with a messed up order and unable to re-JUMP. If you're getting close to your date it's best to just stick it out if you JUMPed. Otherwise canceling is definitely an option but be ready to go through some processes to make it happen(and to wait to place the new order)

Finally got a call from an ERT member today... left my 64gb order open and placed a concurrent 128 order in so it's off to the races to see which one arrives first... Non jump here.
