this is what i get when i track my iPhone 6 64GB space grey. I did not JUMP and never had a delivery date

Which back order are you speaking of the one at the very top of the page with the pink check or back order right by your order placed on date????
 
Figured I would throw my info into the fray as of this moment:

New T-Mobile Customer
Ordered via telephone Sept 12 ~6:45am PDT
iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Space Grey
Paid $99 down payment + tax & signed EIP immediately
Automated Line says "Backordered"
New customer order status page says "Order placed"
Standard shipping (I assume as I was never asked for another shipping option but I did repeatedly ask the rep at the time of order whether this order would still arrive launch day and she said "yisssssss")

Hoping for Friday arrival. I have a trip Monday!! :(

Well that can't totally be true. I ordered mine over the phone on the morning of the 13th. I'm getting a backordered message and no date and I highly doubt I'm getting my phone on launch. And I'm getting the supposedly rarer 6+ in 64GB.

Since you did not next day ship you will most likely get it the day after launch or a few days after. You will get the first batch though.

You most likely will not get it on launch. It still is possible if you selected "next day ship", however it seems that if you did not Pre-order on the 12th you were not given that option from TMO.

i'm with you...i ordered fairly early, at 4:29am PDT and signed the EIP as soon as my order was completed. i only show "Order Placed" and never received a backordered email/text. haven't bothered to call to see what the status is, but at the worst, i think i'll get mine within a couple of weeks.

That's annoying. I ordered in store on the 12th and signed the EIP after. It shows I placed my order on the 13th at 1am and I paided for overnight shipping. I also have an ETA for 9/17. I just find the entire odd if it's true due to the fact that I couldn't even jump unless it was done instore for the preorder and the order placed time is wrong -_-
 
Phone was back order from the get. When I made my order at a tmobile store the pre order wasn't even 3 hours old and he told me every single item in the system is back order
 
I've accepted the fact I'm not getting a phone from T-Mobile any time soon. They botched the this up big time. I'm just going to wake up super early walk across the street from my house to the at&t store and get a phone there. I've done it before no problem. Then once I have my phone cancel my T-Mobile order and service

You and me both brother!!! Only in keeping tmobile im happy with their service. They just had a hiccup with this release. However in going to the Apple store

A hiccup is an understatement. That part I can handle. It's the lying cs reps all saying something different and T-Mobile not being clear about everything or coming out and saying anything to let people know what's going on and the glitch with people unable to make jump orders for a day while everyone else was able to order

64 GB requires 99 + taxes (on full amount) down

128 GB requires 199 + taxes (on full amount) down
 
Honesty my guess is that if it says pending shipment, you got slow shipping and it is leaving tomorrow so you maybe get it close to launch day? I ordered mine with overnight shipping and it's still on back order.
