Just checked my, My.Tmobile.com account. And I am not sure if it is because JUMP! customers are prioritized, but when I look at my account it is showing I pre-ordered 2 hours ahead, Order Placed 09/12/2014 at 10:33:40 AM. When awhile ago it was at 12:23 AM, anyone else see this?
 
And the saga continues...

My orders were:
16GB Space Grey 6+ via Jump @ 2p EST on 12th
16GB White 6 via Jump @ 4p EST on 14th

Both orders went from delivery dates of the 19th to the 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd as of yesterday afternoon and now nothing at all. Both have been backordered immediately after order. No charges (although I had no down payment to pay for either).

I have no issues with not receiving my iPhone on the 19th, let alone the 23rd. I literally don't care. To me, I preordered so I could lock in my phone without having to worry or stand in line at some god forsaken T-Mobile retail store on the 19th. What drives me insane is the lack of information and logistics know how. How does no one not know anything over there? If I'm running logistics at T-Mo, I know I'm get XXXX amount of phones on this day and I have XXXX amount of preorders. That alone should get you a day or shipping locked in. You know when other shipments are coming so stagger out the remaining orders with adjusted delivery dates. Seriously, not that difficult.

I'm leaving my pre-order as is. Not canceling, not chatting with reps online or calling repeatedly. Regardless, T-Mo had better get it together.



I feel the same way now after reading this. I pretty much panicked though when I saw the 9/20 date for delivery disappeared from the site. I just got off the phone with a rep and she stated if your order says "Backordered" then it's because they are waiting for the 19th, and it'll switch to shipping. Those who ordered on the 12th will get it on the 19th or 20th definitely if you did "expedited shipping/overnight shipping 24.99." If you are on the EIP plan, then you will not get the amount charged until it is "shipped."

So please check your bank transactions to follow-up when you know they're being shipped. If T-Mobile charged your account $0.00 or $1.00, then it's only to make sure that your bank account is valid, and to prevent fraud.

I just noticed that happened to me as well i places order around 11am cst and its showing 9am
 
My UPS account was updated to show a package in transit for delivery on 9/18 from a D&H Distributing which is a distributor in Illinois. My T-Mobile account still shows backordered.

I have an upgrade ordered via ATT and 2 new lines ordered via Tmobile.

The ATT upgrade I got ordered by 3:15am Friday morning via ATT

The Tmobile lines I got ordered Friday mid day via phone.

ATT has an order status of:

Preorder Processing
Expected Ship Date: 10/13/2014 To 10/22/2014

Tmobile has an order status of:

Backordered


ATT has not charged me anything yet

Tmobile has charged me the full amount I would owe upfront.

I just checked mine and my time is still the same....I don't think it can get any earlier though. i ordered at 4:23 am on the 12th!!

Ouch, that ATT status almost gave me a minor heart attack.
 
I feel like something big is happening today. First, the dates disappearing for some of you, now order dates being moved up for some. We'll see....
 
The only thing I still have going for me are the pending charges since 9/12 for $1.00 other than that, no changes

I ordered Friday the 12th and if I don't get my phone on the 19th or 20th (paid for overnight shipping) I'm going to be rather upset

As of the past two hours my order is no longer trackable, the system says that it cannot find it...chatted with tmobile support and they said its still there..anyone else having this happen?

The pre-order system has worked this way for at least the year and a half I've been with T-Mobile. Ordered 5 Android flagships and it was always mass confusion just like this in those threads too. The phones always get to me so I don't think it's really that big of a deal. I think pushing their financial resources toward network improvements is still much more important. Hopefully they can simplify this process down the road and just give general ranges like Apple & the other carriers (delivery in 1-4 wks, etc).

I always thought that when you preordered the iPhones that it didn't matter which shipping method you picked it still came on launch day. Maybe im wrong but I seem to remember it being that way.
 
The full amount pre-authorization charge is now gone. The order date is still the same 09/12/2014 at 04:47 AM PDT and the phone system still says "backordered." I don't know what any of this means LOL.

Backordered because they haven't shipped them out yet. Shipping supposedly is happening Thursday.

The thing that irritates me the most about all of this is that while there is still confusion at ATT and Verizon boards, they AT LEAST are able to see something regarding their shipping and from what I can tell their phones have already been shipped out to them, as much as a couple of days ago. But TMO is apparently either holding their phones or not getting them to be shipped until Thursday.

sort of... any time i try to check my order status, i get an error saying that their system is unavailable and to try back later. however, i spoke with a rep who confirmed my order is still there.

i also tweeted @tmobile and they replied that all preorders will show as backordered until launch day when their inventory arrives. then everyone should be updated by email.
