..... my rep only put notes in my account that I wanted the phone, didn't actually place an order for one.

That's crazy. Does this mean you will receive your phone later than originally expected? I hope they have my order at all... I will post again when I learn more. I would have preferred to be told the system was down and asked if I want it placed manually or if I want to call back. Now I think my cc# details are floating around a call center somewhere...

Just got off the phone with a mobile rep who told me that the 001xxxxx numbers are basically tickets, where the orders are pending to be processed manually.

Apparently, it was the only way that T-Mobile was able to accept orders without their systems crashing.

What this means for us is that those of us with these numbers still do not have any actual order.

I probably should have gone to the store like I did last year for the 6. Went in the next morning, didn't sign up for any form of Jump and despite not having "priority" place in line, I still got the phone on launch day.

Just called my local tmobile store and they're going to have the plus and all colors, so I'm jus going to wake up early and get it.. Wish I would of gotten sleep.

i just went to the store to sign up for JOD, the manager of the store offered me the free memory upgrade. :) but had to put down the 99.00 first and it will be credit back on each installment payments. But the only problem is that is no time table for the phone.

Just spoke to a Tmobile rep. Opting for the callback queue seems to work. The rep seemed very diligent. He sees my order in the system - not just notes on my account. He says he cannot open the order at this point to see the details of it but can see when I called and that there IS an order there. He said they had to use an alternate ordering system last night/this morning because their main system was not cooperating. He gave me an order number but it is a 00122xxx number, which reading in this thread indicates it is essentially a ticket number for an order to be entered manually? He said not to be concerned that I have not received an email yet. He expects the emails will probably process tonight. He advised me to call again tomorrow if I still don't get the email confirmation/agreement.

I only feel a tiny bit better about the status of my order.... Hope it will all be ok!

Got my EIP email! Ordered at 3:30am JOD and my order number started with 00. Order number starts with an S, The only thing was in my EIP it showed $0 for down payment and $43 a month for 128GB iPhone 6S Plus. I'm going to assume that isn't correct and will adjust on my account. It showed 16 payments as well which was odd.

Edit: Looked at my original lease agreement and it was the same way of a higher monthly payment. Must just be the way the document is setup. I'll just pay attention to my account.

Congrats!

When I was speaking to a rep, she said that the bill will initially show the full price. When the monthly bills for the phone installments come through it will be the full price with a credit each bill.

Feeling a bit paranoid, I went back to my store where they sort of completed the order. A sales rep who I like and trust called their retail support because he couldn't see it in the system. He was assured by the person on the line that they are manually entering in these orders and to expect the EIP email sometime in the next 24 hours. He gave me his number and told me to text him in 24 hours if I haven't seen it yet, so I guess I will do that.

I have a "confirmation number" that looks like this: 140XXXXX

New JoD customer - iP6s+ RG 64gb
Order # 001266xx
9/12 1:34am PST - order placed
9/12 10:10am PST - still no EIP email.. called TMO rep and confirmed order has been placed... EIP email should be out by 48 hrs
9/12 11:47am PST - missed a called from TMO rep and voicemail indicated they need additional verification... waiting on their call back now =.=

New JoD customer - iP6+ RG 16gb
Order # S0060773xx
9/12 11:50am PST - order placed
9/12 11:52am PST - email for "order pending"... not an EIP email

Ordered last night, called a little early and got through. Was off the phone by 5 mins past "midnight", 2am my time.

Did not receive an order number last night, rep told me should have an EIP in 12 hours.

Haven't received anything so far, called TMobile back this afternoon, they said they don't see an order placed. Although there was "notes" that I called and ordered the phone.

I still have no official confirmation of anything.

Just to be clear, the JOD $20/month for the 16GB 6s, is not an introductory month. It's a promotion deal, that "you keep for the full length of your Jump! On Demand agreement" as long as you don't leave T-Mobile.

Source: Here.

So it looks like you're not getting the savings you might have hoped.

I see now. I may look into that. Meant to say that I reserved one for in-store pickup. Won't be able to get around to contacting T-Mobile for a while. No idea what their backlog will be at that point. Don't mind paying extra to get something quicker, with insurance. Not that much more over 12 or 24 months.

Just hung up with a rep. I've lost count of how many times I've spoken with them now , but this last answer I got finally makes sense to me.

The rep (Crystal) said that if you have a # that starts with "00xxxxxx" your order was taken manually. She said that last night (this morning; midnight) they were having something called "Apple Down Time." She said that during this time, no orders were entered into the computer but that you still are assigned to that phone you ordered; you're still in front of the line for actual phone assignment, regardless of whether you got your email right away or haven't gotten it yet. She said that people who ordered this morning after around 8ish were getting EIP emails right away but a lot of their phones are back ordered, where that is not the case for those of us who placed our orders as soon as we could around midnight. She said the email would come, no worries.

So I'm gonna enjoy the rest of my day and quit stressing. :)

For those who have ordered at T-Mobile's website previously, do the phones come sealed up or do they open them before sending them out?

You're the man!

Everyone that ordered last night that has a 00 order number and no EIP email, sit tight and relax. My order went through around 3:30AM et and I just got my EIP email with full order number at 1:09PM ET, just like the T-Mobile rep said I would. Your phones are coming.

To note, I was current JOD and called in for the upgrade. Interestingly enough, the EIP makes it look like the $99 down payment for the 64GB model will be split over the monthly payments instead of paid straight up.
