Yes.Ordered a 64gb Space Gray 6S Plus over the phone at 3 AM (waited on hold for 45 minutes after setting up my new account), but still haven't received a confirmation e-mail yet. Is this normal?
I didn't order the wrong phone, they jacked that up all by themselves. In any event, that website tmobile put up that shows the shipping dates as of today still has all the 6S regulars for 9/25. It better stay that way. This is unacceptable and i'm beyond livid—mostly because I'm sleep deprived, but still. You can't count on any form of customer service to do the job right these days.
The bad news is I don't think 16gb is going to cut it unless you don't take any pictures. That said if you use iCloud Photos you can probably get by.
Maybe it's time to stop all complicated confusing contracts and financing gimmicks. Pay full price or no phone, end of story.
The carriers are in the business of making money, so nope, this isn't going to happen.Maybe it's time to stop all complicated confusing contracts and financing gimmicks. Pay full price or no phone, end of story.
I have no choice but to call since they typed up a contract with the wrong price. I could sort of understand if a number was fat-fingered, but in this case, both digits are flat-out wrong. Besides, I'm shocked that these contracts aren't automated. Why are they hand-jamming them when they know they are going to get a few hundred thousand orders in a 24-hour period?
Same here. The promo rate is a bill credit that doesn't show up on the EIP or even on my bill for the first few days each month. Is your price about 12 bucks off or something? Reason I'm asking is because my iPhone I have now always shows high on my bill when it first comes out, then it adjusts with the JOD discount of 12 bucks, down to $19.

because $900 for a PHONE every year is a price apple and phone carriers know is rediculous. thats the price of a high end laptop/pc.Maybe it's time to stop all complicated confusing contracts and financing gimmicks. Pay full price or no phone, end of story.

This is what my rep told me to look for on my email. She said it would be $12 more but I wouldn't be paying that.
I don't know about the current promo, but yes, I get a $12 bill credit each month that brings my 6+ down to $19. Not justifying it either way, but I believe the reasoning is to make sure the buyer knows they're on the hook for the whole cost of the lease if they bail before the 18 months are up, not the promo rate.Wow, this makes no sense whatsoever! (Not directing my comment at you, but T-Mobile if this is true.) I'm not joking when I say this: I've been an AT&T customer for the last 18 years and earlier this week, I started watching John Legere's videos and he said things like "This is the price you pay with T-Mobile, no ********, no gimmicks." And now they want me to sign a legally-binding contract for a much higher price, but then they'll give me a monthly credit to make up the difference, but that monthly credit is listed nowhere in my contract? Surely this can't be true. If it is, this is the biggest smoke and mirrors sham I've ever seen and I'll cancel the whole thing and stay with AT&T, even though AT&T's prices are higher.
Surely this isn't how things are done. There must be a mistake in the legal contract they want me to sign.

No, a trade in was only required for the $15 promo pricing which has expired or if you want your ETF/EIP from another carrier paid off.Who told u about being credited back? Also in confused about jump and jump on demand. Does jump on demand mean I have to give them my current Iphone?

They don't make profit on phones, just on service. If I couldn't afford the shiny new phone I would still have service. Trust me if carriers didn't have all these tempting low money down offers people would still find a way to save and buy that irrestiable new toy. Although from a carrier point it's smart because in the end their going to get that $649 or whatever out of you. Curious to see what happens if the Feds ever raise the interest rates. The carriers are in the business of making money, so nope, this isn't going to happen.
So how do I get jump on demand price? They told me I have to give them my old phone, I was like f that, u must think I'm stupid... I to the rep she doesn't know what she's talking about. Apparently they need to clairify things for us.No, a trade in was only required for the $15 promo pricing which has expired or if you want your ETF/EIP from another carrier paid off.
I have my phones both paid off...I believe with both you have to give back your current phone or pay it off. I mean think about it how could you possibly be able to keep your current phone without paying it off?
This. Besides, if Carrier A offers shiny new phone for $800 with no financing options and Carrier B offers it for 20 payments of $40 and you can trade it in for shinier new phone after 10 payments, there's a whole lot of people that are going to go to Carrier B because it's their only option. Notice how after the first EIP/upgrade early type smartphone plan came out a few years ago, every other major carrier followed shortly after.Although from a carrier point it's smart because in the end their going to get that $649 or whatever out of you.
