Sounds like those off-line ‘different system’ used for orders folks (i.e notepad), like myself, are ****ed.

I knew something was wrong when the rep didn’t take my cc and was vague on details yesterday.

EIP signed! everything in my order was correct, they had already taken the CC information for $199.99 down plus taxes.
My order starts with S0061

So went to the store after work since my pre order didn't work on the phone, and now they told me I have to come to the freaking store on launch day to get the phone, the rep took my number and said he'll call me on launch day...

Loving that people are getting their emails. I just started a lifetime movie so I'm hoping to be distracted soon!

Wanted to share my interesting experience with the preorder, no bs. This is my 3rd iPhone launch preorder, the previous 2 were with AT&T and I had no issues at all. I got up at 2:45am EST. Called as soon as I woke, got right through, and was told I had to hang up and call back, I was 12 minutes early. I called back at 2:59, and got through pretty quick. The rep who answered told me he was having issues, and would call me back. I said ok. Waited a bit, then got 2 other phones and called on them. The house phone, the one I used second to call by about 7 minutes, was picked up first. This was about 3:30am EST. The rep helped me with the order. Two lines were being upgraded JOD, keeping the previous promo prices of $19. My line was SG 6+ 16GB going to SG 6s+ 64GB. The total for that line was like $174 after taxes, shipping, and the storage upgrade. The other line was my brothers, his was a Gold 16GB 6+ that was being upgrades straight up, Gold 16GB 6s+. The total was $54 something for taxes. I did not understand why I was being charged taxes or shipping for that matter with JOD, but I just wanted to get the orders in. Before I went to bed I found out about the free storage upgrades, and I figured they were either BS, or would be applied to my order automatically, or I'd be pissed, call and the would take care of it.

I did not get my agreement emails until around 2pm, and thats where things took a nosedive. I signed, them of course, before noticing the major issues. My phone was put through correctly as a JOD, but for a SG 64GB 6s, not a plus as it should have been. The other line was the correct phone, on an EIP instead of JOD. I have no clue how such major issues could come up, upgrading two phones on the same JOD plans should have been simple. The good news was my line showed $0 up front as it should have, and $0 for shipping. It also showed $0 for the storage upgrade. I called T-Mobile, of course the lines were jammed. I finally got a call back, and spoke to a woman who really seemed to know what she was doing. As for my phone, she couldn't fix the order (probably because you can't have more than one JOD on one number), and I am getting a 6s instead of a plus. Personally, I am ok with it because deep down I wanted to switch back to the smaller phone, but was hesitant. It just made my decision easier. They got lucky I wasn't a customer who only wanted a plus no matter what. The good news was she said I was getting the smaller phone for the promo price of $15 a month, and I was in fact getting the free storage upgrade that I figured wasn't true. It works as a credit back on the bill, much like the promo price already works. I actually noticed the T-Mobile reps on their twitter tweeting about it right as I was on the phone, so it must be true. Hopefully they apply it to all of the orders, and I hope that we all actually get the credit we are supposed to without having to fight. As for the other line, I had to do a completely new order because I signed the agreement with out realizing the error. She says I have to refuse the package of the phone with the EIP and it will all work out. The good news is this allowed me to upgrade this phone to the 64GB for free like I did on mine. His phone will continue to be $19 a month, 0 up front. I stated that I hope that I will get this phone on launch day as I got up early to do, and she swore up and down that since we are JOD we will be getting the phones launch day (25th). My order is still the original order so I am not worried about that one at all, as for the other one it isn't mine so oh well. I have no idea what happened with my original call, but they screwed up big time. I have all the order numbers, and the orders are on myTMobile, so hopefully it all works out. I think it will, so far T-Mobile has been a overall good experience, even through it can be convoluted compared to the experiences I had at AT&T. They should have just make sure the phone operators last night knew exactly what they were doing, because the one who I had did not. Overall, out of all my iPhone and my watch preorder, it is only eventful one I have had, so I guess I was owed it, but I am optimistic I will get the phone on launch day, much like my other phones and watch.

First you're mad you haven't got your email yet, now you're mad you got your email, meanwhile some of us still have no email and are somehow not this mad.

It's luck. But jump orders still have priority through the 14th so a few hours it took them to key your order in shouldn't be a big issue.
Are you referring to me? I never complained about waiting for an email.

I direct messaged tmohelp this afternoon and finally got this reply:

Hey Zachary! Thanks for contacting us about this, it's definitely really important to us that you get the device you want! It looks like you experienced a known error that's going on with our retail stores and I sincerely apologize for that. What I would recommend is to give a call in to Customer Care to have the order re-placed at your earliest convenience. *MichaelL

I'm really annoyed right now. I placed my order at 1:45 this morning. I finally get my EIP this evening and it says my order was placed this afternoon at 5:30 my order number went from 001 to 006. So now I'm further back in the line behind people that ordered after me

Same thing happened to me. I stayed up through most of the night for nothing. I ordered first thing last night, but my order wasn't actually keyed into their system until 10 hours later. Worse yet, as I mentioned earlier in this thread, they want me to sign a contract that does not reflect the correct pricing. This sucks, because if they don't fix it in the next 30 hours or so, then my order will be cancelled because I'm not signing a legally-binding contract that is higher than what I'm supposed to be paying.

This whole experience is making me sour -- all at a time that ordering a new iPhone should be fun.

Can any JOD people make sense of their EIP contract? I got a 64GB 6s Plus upgrading from a 16GB 6 Plus. I'm on the amped $19/month promo. It's showing my monthly payment as $33.83 which is strange because even with the $12 discount that brings it to $21.83 not $19. What's even more confusing is the down payment. It's showing a down payment of $71.80 (67.51+tax). I have no clue what this down payment is for. I was expecting either $99 for the down payment or $0 down since there is the upgrade promotion that everyone is talking about. Neither of these numbers make any sense to me.

Mine isn't making sense either, I figure I can get it sorted if my bill isn't credited. But this definitely was handled gracefully.

What time did you order over the phone? I'm desperate here! Was your order correct? What's the subject of the email! Lmao I'm pulling at straws.
I called at 11:58pm and it took about 25 minutes to complete the order. My order is indeed correct. I have received 3 emails, one was from admin subject your order is pending, and the other two were both from mobile sign your eip and both of those actually showed up in the spam folder.

Mine makes sense, but as you said, it is more than the credit we get now. I'm guessing they are going to increase our bill credit.

I just had a T-mobile rep call me to confirm my order. Luckily they did, as the handset they selected was wrong. They also verified a second order that I placed.

A few minutes later, I had another rep call me up and ask the same questions about the order again.

Bryan, this is the fine print on the Jump On Demand page:

"Limited time offer; subject to change. For well-qualified buyers. Eligible paid-off smartphone trade-in, lease, $15 SIM starter kit, & qual'g service req'd. $20+taxes/mo ($24+taxes/mo for 6s Plus) for 18-mo lease after monthly bill credits. Must remain on qual'g service in good standing for duration of Lease term. If you cancel wireless service, remaining payments (of up to $$27/$31/mo) become due."

My rep confirmed twice that the contract will have an increased fee but you get a credit every month. Sign the form!

Can we clear up that EIP and a JOD lease are technically not the same thing?

There are 2 very distinct, separate areas when you login to your TMO account for EIP and a JOD lease, if you have them on your account. I'd imagine using them interchangeably is causing confusion for a lot of people.

I'm in a similar boat. I talked to a T-Mobile senior supervisor and he said T-Mobile is aware of the problem and they will come out with a fix probably in 2-3 weeks, but in the meantime, he said we need to sign our contract or our orders will be cancelled. This is bull-crap. No one should be signing a legally-binding contract that lists the wrong pricing. Doing so is incredibly foolish.

On the phone with a rep now because the EIP also shows them charging me the upgrade price from going from 16 6plus to a 64 6S plus which is supposed to be free according to HowardFourms and various other sites around the net.
