My box was beat up too. Also I got this email today. Is it true that JOD people have to turn their phone into the store?
I took my phone to the store today and they refused to take it saying I had to ship it back. What should I do?
First one arrived: Space Grey 6s+ 128gb. First thing I did was put a Spigen tempered glass screen protector on it, and slide it into a Seidio Surface case. This is the last pic I take with my Samsung Note 3!
Now just waiting on 6s Rose Gold 64gb. It's on truck for delivery - strange it didn't come on the same UPS truck. View attachment 585963

Mine was battered as well, every corner and edge on the box is in someway damaged
So do we return our phones to the store or not??? I got that same email a few hours ago, but people are being told to mail their phone in? In a bag, no less?
I'm sorry, but I'm not about to send out an iPhone 6+ in a bag to some random device inspection department when I was told from the beginning of all this that I'd have to return my device in-store.
There's gotta be a better way. C'mon T-Mobile--this left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing has grown old and tired.
yeah, get John Legere involved, and ask him what's up with shipping customers their $900 iPhones in plastic bags? tell him #shipgateI'll tweet them and see what happens. I think there was a serious breakdown in communication between corporate and stores.
In other news, even though the iPhone box was dinged up, the phone itself is superb. No complaints whatsoever.
I'm kind of confused by this. You're paying for the device. The box is doing its job in that it's not allowing the device to receive said dents. T-Mobile is selling (many or most cases leasing) phones, not collectibles. I'm pretty anal about my collectibles (I'm into Star Wars, pops, amiibo, and a few others), but I just don't see a problem with this.I'm still shocked at how T-Mobile is shipping their devices. Unbelieveable... iPhones... wrapped in a plastic bag... imagine if you've ordered a limited edition collectible and it was shipped in a plastic bag.... imagine buying a brand new car and it arrived to you with dents. Unbelievable TMobile.
I'm unsure if you're serious about this, but if you're going to just throw the phone into s bag without any form of protection you're asking for trouble. T-Mobile is dropping phones that are in sealed boxes into bags. Those boxes are actually made to protect the device in transit.Heheheheh, maybe we should ship our phones back the same way that they've shipped to us... in the same plastic bag. But out of seriousness, do what was instructed in the email, take it to the store for processing, show them the email, and if necessary speak to the manager.
I'm shipping mine back in the same bag that they've shipped to me with their enclosed shipping label IDGAF =)

Two of our boxes had minor corner dings. One arrived virtually flawless. They went in a pile with all our other boxes. I suppose I can understand the sentiment. Some people wish they got nice boxes. I think T-Mobile likely realizes that most of their customer base doesn't care as long as the phones makes it to them safely and the amount of money they're able to save shipping this way far outweighs the handful of gripes they may get about dinged boxes.
I have heard of all of those things. I just disagree that very many people are buying iPhones as a collectible. I've also resold phones with pristine boxes and author boxes, and the reality is, on the resale market, people don't tend to care too much either way. I'm not saying I don't feel for the minority's of people who are upset about their boxes, but T-Mobile isn't catering to collectors. Most stores don't. I've received my share of busted collectibles. The response when I complain is "you can return it or you can go **** yourself". Collectors aren't what make retailers money. They'll get along without us just fine. That's the point in trying to make. You're a collector of Star Wars, pops, amibos, etc you should already know this, all original items and packaging adds value to your collectible. Ever heard of MIB, Mint In Box, truly you should have to know this if your claiming to be a collector of things!
The point is if you had a choice between a beat up box vs a mint box, would you choose the beat up box? Imagine if someone shipped one of your collectibles in a plastic bag.
You're lucky that yours came in one piece while others like myself didn't. If tmobile would have been more mindful of customer's merchantdise in their packaging by putting it in a box with bubble wrap, I wouldn't be here talking to you about this problem. Yes, most customers may be lease their phones, well I'm not one of them and I don't appreciate people throwing my $900 phone in a bag like as if it's trash. You get me?

Fair enough. Your expectations are simply higher than that of most T-Mobile customers, again, based on how they seem to continue shipping phones. Nothing wrong with that. You're welcome to take your business to whomever you feel will satisfy your expectations the best. From my stand point, I don't agree with how a perfectly mint item can arrive to your door step beat up. While other retailers are delivering the exact same item with the exact same shipping method in a box, and arrives looking flawlessly, makes no sense. First and Last time I am ever ordering anything through Tmobile, their shipping flat out blows compared to Apple and other retailers.

I felt it was implied with the "I don't give a f" part of the comment. Nobody said anything though. Do what you want man. This has all spiraled terribly out of control when all I was trying to do was be helpful. Enjoy your phone.Who said that I am not putting the phone in a protected box with bubble wrap? I'm better off Craigslisting my iPhone, shipping it to them in their bag would make me a d*ck.
My favorite wallpaper app!! Have it on my 6 Plus no SI can do you one better I got it from an app in the App Store here's a screenshot of the app it's called wallpapers has some great wallpapers and if you search superman it pulls a variety of wallpapers

I'm pretty happy with it but unhappy with tmo for different reasons lol. They messed up my order, I spent an hour trying to return JOD devices today, they dis lot decided to email me labels (was supposed to get three but got one lol) and they'll process a return and waive restock fees in those.Sorry bro, I didn't mean to come off the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, Tmobile is awesome, I love their service, except for their shipping now. I've been with them for years and I'm one of the lucky few that still has the unlimited plan with no caps for dirt cheap. I've been with them since the 2G with the 4.99 data lol!
But hey, how are you liking your 6s?
The
when is your 6s+ expected to arrive?!
When did you order and which color?ahh. they told me 2 weeks is the norm. i can wait. i was on the fence about upgrading, so it's my own fault. that tmo deal is too good to pass up. although, if i were to trade it in, in a year, maybe the 16GB is doable for $100 cheaper. But i know i'd be cursing the phone if i had only 16GBs.
What a stand up person, gave all your family phones before yourself. Impressive!Personally I'm extremely happy with T-mobile. Order three iPhone upgrades on the first night it was up for preorder and I got all three today in great condition.
Only thing is that the shipping doesn't include what phone number goes to which box lol. I had to call T-Mobile to get that fixed so I can give the correct iPhones to my family (all same Pink color and same GB size). The customer support was extremely helpful and fixed everything. Then the same guy helped me activate all three phones. Took a long time go get these phones activated but it all works and the customer service guy was super helpful.
My iPhone I decided to go with T-Mobile. I was going to do the Apple Upgrade thing but not happy with hard credit they check. I have really good credit and don't want hard credit check every year. With T-Mobile I can have one bill.
Can't wait to get mine. I activated my families phones and I'm impressed. The speed compare to my 6 Plus is really noticeable. Specially the 2Gb ram made a big difference.
