People dealing with T-Mobile:

They are just human. It's okay to tell them you are upset. It's not okay to yell at them, degrade their jobs, call them names, etc.

You'll get further if you contact customer service, write them on Facebook, etc and explain the situation politely.

We're lucky our carrier actually cares about us. A lot of others aren't even getting much more than a "I'm sorry, but you'll still get the phone, so get over it.".

If you're given a date to receive the phone, just relax and read some reviews. Watch some movies. Or just get out of the house for a bit. =)
After reading your comments it makes me realize that my situation is not that bad. It's just 4 more days before i get my phone and they actually called me and i got credit for it. I was a little mad at first but now i am not anymore.

Mines finally shipped!! After all the hassle I went through, I went from a Rose Gold 6s+ 128GB -> Gold 6s+ Gold 64GB, and it's finally on its way!

I've been told by online reps, T-Mobile twitter reps, and executive response that if you used the return label to send your JoD phone back you will be "absolutely fine"

That's "funny":
My tracking information just changed a few minutes ago.
The departure scan disappeared and it just says "Ready for UPS"! Again...
I'm wondering what this means...

Oh gee wiz! So did mine. If I keep checking this, I'll go mad. Haha.

It's probably because it's outside their working hours maybe?

I was a little surprised I was able to get my phone on launch day. I pre ordered the 16 gb 6S in space grey right at midnight when pre orders went live. After some thought I decided to call up T-Mobile the following week and change my order to the 64GB. I was tired of having to constantly delete things so if I'm already spending a ton of money I might as well get what I want. I thought for sure changing my order would delay me getting my phone well beyond launch date but when I saw my card was charged and my phone was on it's way this last Tuesday I was and am a happy camper.

It probably just means the UPS website is undergoing maintenance because it's the middle of the night on Saturday.

I returned my JoD device tonight. All I have to say is good luck. I was in the store almost 2 hours and now have 2 extra phones and orders on my account that I have to sort out tomorrow. They had NO clue what to do since I called in the pre-order and had it delivered. Absolutely no one in the store even knew this was an option. They told me ordering via phone for JoD should NOT have been allowed. lol what a mess. I'm going to be on the phone for hours tomorrow. :(

Ya , the ups servers are down because i just tracked my package first it used to say in transit expected delivery tuesday 29th but now all it says is label created.

That's weird. I went into my local Tmobile, returned the JOD switched out my in-store order 6s Plus w/o any issues. Got paperwork showing that I turned in my 6 Plus and that the lease was cancelled. I went back later in the day with my sister-in-law whom I ordered over the phone and got the JOD turned in and lease cancelled as well. They told me they've been doing it all day Saturday since they sold out of their entire stock of 6s and 6s Plus on Friday. I also remembered to have them cancel my insurance for both phones so I can goto Apple to get apple care +.

Just a beef on how the phones were delivered. My 3 iphone 6s Plus's were all placed in a plastic bubble wrap envelope and shipped to me with just the iphone box inside. No other cushion. WTF???? I can just imagine UPS workers playing catch with all these iPHone boxes and dropping a few. Seriously T-mobile.....you're shipping $1000's of dollars in phones and skimping on packaging???

How many of your phones were shipped this way? My came out of the Kentucky warehouse.

A huge majority of phones showed Louisville Kentucky as the starting point for the USA. Though a lot actually started in Anchorage Alaska but no label until Kentucky.

Of course they all started in China. Haha.

I keep wishing that maybe while they're down for maintenance, they accidentally get the phone to me Monday instead of Tuesday!

Oh wow. It's almost 1AM. I've been totally engrossed in The Hobbit and LOTR movies. @_@

Goodnight fellow UPS watchers.

See they told me I have to send mine back. With the usps label. Store told me to mail it back and tforce did the same as well. Store told me that there is no way he could give me s receipt of the jod lease return. Now, I only had that for like 2 plus weeks and it never showed on a bill yet. I wonder if they effected it.

Same here. Called 3 times, and was told 3 times I had to bring it in. Then when I did, they called customer care twice and ended up telling me to use the USPS return label I received, and to "take a picture of EVERYTHING" before I mail it. Oh, and to ask the post office if there's a way to track it. (Uh, I doubt it, since the label says "No postage necessary", and we HAVE TO use that label due to the bar code.)

Yeah, not so confident about this...

Here is my JoD return experience and another data point for reference

1. Originally had 4 x iPhone 6 through the AMPED Jump on Demand promotion

2. Preordered over the phone and received
4 x iPhone 6s upgrades

3. Only received one return label in the shipment for one of the phones and none for the other 3. Decided to bring all 4 iPhone 6 to the store anyway

4. One of the iPhone 6 return was an easy process (the same line in which I received a return label) and I got an immediate email receipt of the lease cancellation once the rep processed the return

5. The other 3 iPhone 6 could not be processed immediately. According to the rep, when customer care placed my preorders for iPhone 6s, they did it incorrectly as an additional lease on the the lines that I was upgrading, rather than an upgrade that would eventually replace my current lease.

6. Rep said it would take a while since they had to talk to Customer Care to get it resolved so that they system would take my return. After about an hour, they were finally able to accept the return of the other 3 iPhone 6. Their workaround was that Customer care had to create an additional 3 "dummy iPhone 6 leases" in order for the system to accept the returns. I did not receive any paperwork or email receipt for the returns of these 3 phones, but the rep assured me that everything is taken care of

7. On MY T-Mobile, this is what it shows for my leases
Active Leases: No current leases exist

Completed Leases:
The original iPhone 6 leases are marked as completed and show 0 remaining monthly payments.

The iPhone 6s leases are also marked as completed but I'm assuming this will turn active by my next bill

There are also another additional 3 new iPhone 6 leases showing as completed. These are probably the "dummy leases" that customer care had to add to process my return. I sure hope these don't become active or I will have another issue to deal with later

8. Overall, this was not a simple process. With all the preorder problems, return problems, and workarounds that they had to do on the back end to process my return, I hope my promotional pricing of $15/mo for the iPhone 6s was not affected somehow.

Good luck to everyone else still needing to return their phone

Does a restocking fee apply if you want to do an exchange? I called, and also did an online chat, but both reps gave me different answers.
