Ugh! They screwed up the order and put me on regular EIP and I didn't realize it until after I signed the agreement. It should have been on JOD. On phone now and they are going to try and cancel the order and then I have to wait 24 hours before I can pre order again. order canceled. Place in line gone, but she is gonna call back at same time tomorrow, but she is going to overnight shipping free and give me the option to upgrade for no mula upfront or monthly to get the 64 or 128gb. I won't get it on day 1 I guess, but oh well

Here's been my experience (trying to switch from Verizon): Called early this morning to place order for a 64 GB iPhone 6s Rose Gold and a 64 GB iPhone 6s Space Gray for Jump on Demand. Was told to call back later as the activations department wasn't up and running yet, so I called back later, and they were only able to activate one line and told me to go to a store to activate the other. So I messaged them, and they gave me the number to call, so I did. During the course of the order, the rep was going to order two Rose Gold phones, to which I corrected him and said I only wanted one. He said he'd fix it, so once I got the email, I assumed he had corrected it. Come to find out, it was still two Rose Gold Phones, and I think a regular EIP. So I called back again, and unfortunately according to them since I signed the email, they can't change it, and that if I want the space gray, I'll just have to swap it out for the space gray, and that they'll call back tomorrow to see if they can get it switched to Jump on Demand. They did charge the $99 up front for both, and sales tax in full? Is this correct as well? Anybody have any recommendations?

So frustrated. Called four times starting late last night (pacific time) and all four times I am told different things. First they say I can keep the $12 discount then my second and third calls say no. Fourth time I called she says I can keep it again but all of a sudden my order "never went through".. Keep in mind my third and fourth time calling was about an hour ago, FIVE MINUTES apart. Why was I not notified on my third call it never went through?

@trife what's the secret? I definitely need to get in touch with the right people. After being with T-Mo for about 10 years now and usually very happy with their customer care, this time it has been a headache.

Is anyone else able to go from the original iPhone JOD promo ($15/mo for iPhone 6 16GB and $19/mo for iPhone 6S+ 16GB) and upgrade to the 64GB versions while MAINTAINING their discounts and paying the respective $15/$19? Are we really saving money here or are they just tacking in everything at the end pay out?

HELP!

Thanks in advance!

This is seriously the last time I do this pre ordering nonsense. I went through the stress of the botched iPhone 6 pre order last year and somehow I still managed to get my device on launch day (Jesus loves me). Today I pre ordered my 6S, I have absolutely no idea at all if my order went through (JoD). Never got a confirmation, C.S was supposed to call back, never did. I don't even care anymore either...if I get a phone in the mail, that's awesome, if it doesnt ever show up, then you know what, to hell with it, I'll just keep using my 6+ until next year when this craziness dies down.

Frustrated (and jealous!) that some people got higher memory without paying up front. I asked, and they wanted $99 for the privilege. I said no thanks and got a 16 GB for $0 down. I guess I'll learn to live with it.

I'll back up and delete my photos, stream music and movies and keep my apps in check.

you people are crazy dealing with this, just make a reservation at Apple and either use their upgrade program or pay full price.

Perhaps but I guess we're trying to see if things can be made 'right' in our respective situations first. I just may end up not signing and going the Apple store route. However, I was one of the early callers this morning and I consider that my place in line as far as receiving the phone upon release by 9/25. When you ordered with Apple, is your order now backordered for delivery? In other words, will you be getting it around 9/25, or will you be waiting for weeks? Just curious. :)

Then why does my new order look like this? I should be at $19?

Just hung up from my millionth call to them. Still no email 20 hours post order. This guy tells me (in very heavily accented English that was very hard to understand), as he's reading the notes on my account "sorry that took so long; you've been calling all day."

I wanted to go bad at that point but I wanted information more than that so I held back and allowed him to continue. What I learned is this:

•I now have an "S" number--S0060xxxxx--that is a result of my 00120xxx being entered around 9 this morning.

•I should get the email by midnight. If I don't that means "something went wrong" with my order and I'll need to call and speak with a supervisor about that tomorrow.

Gee freakin' whiz.

Just spoke with Customer Service yet again. This time it was about the agreement being a regular 24 month installment agreement instead of the jump on demand one I requested when I ordered this morning. The rep said to go to the store tomorrow because they can get me on the JoD there. So... now I'm deciding if I will give it a try. Or maybe I'll just let the whole thing expire and either go the Apple store upgrade plan route, buy it outright (unlocked) from Apple, or just keep the regular 24 month agreement I received from tmo...

This year I made a reservation to do the Apple Upgrade Program. It was damn near flawless. My wife ended up ditching JoD for the Upgrade program too.

Apple was fine this year because people weren't expecting their financing program and it's an S year, not a new body style, but come next year what do you want to bet that it's a cluster again with everybody trying to get the 7 and fighting for reservations to swap their phone.

T-Mobile has locked me in, so I'll have to stick with them for this year. I would have to give them 17 lease payments plus hand the phone back and THEN go to Apple to get out of it.

But I will say this specifically: the first company who can GUARANTEE me a phone during the first two weeks (I don't even need launch day, just first couple of weeks), AND provide a stress-free order, just go in and click, no staying up all night, I will switch to that company immediately, even if it's $50 more per line or more.

The secret is to go straight to the top. Email Legere. Every time I've done this someone from his Executive Team has contacted me within 24 hours. I remember with the preorder last year Legere himself even called some complaining customers!

It'd be way easier if they could just figure out a way to have these preorders go smoothly, but clearly that hasn't happened yet. But to his credit, Legere will take care of customers should they reach out. I wouldn't advise everyone to contact him just yet because we're not even 24 hours out from the initial preorder time. But if things continue to be screwed up or you don't get an email in the next couple of days, without a doubt contact him if customer care can't resolve your issues.

On an unrelated note, I just remembered last night when I was ordering, the awesome business rep who helped me said that their system was down due to nightly maintenance. WHY WOULD THEY START PREORDERS WHEN THEY KNEW THE SYSTEM WOULD BE DOWN???? You really can't make this stuff up lol. So many of the headaches for customers and reps could've easily been avoided. It's pretty damn ridiculous when you really stop and think about it.

Two things 1. You will not get your phone on the 25th from Tmobile that is the date they ship. 2.Apple Store reservation guarantees your selected model on the 25th.

Yeah I'm never going to pre order from Tmobile. Better to just go to the store.

I'm not sure it is true but the rep who called me to verify my order today said t-mo will receive inventory on the 17th and then they will be shipping them out with the goal that they are received by the buyers by the 25th. This is my first go-round with both a pre-order and t-mobile, so not sure whether to believe it. I was one of the first callers when ordering opened this morning. Not sure that makes a difference either since my order was ultimately entered manually due to their system problems at the time I ordered.

Then why does my new order look like this? I should be at $19?

If you subtract $12 you're still at $30.93 - Not sure how they would keep you at $19 a month unless they're giving you a $23.93 credit.

Since you were promised that from the executive response team.. Maybe you can just go ahead with it. Please advise on how I can get this done too? What a headache. Lol.

I called four times and on then they finally said my order was canceled. While I was on the phone with my rep, she was able to send me the EIP installment right away - which I received. Problem is, the pricing doesn't seem like it would reflect the original iPhone JOD promo pricing of $15/$19..

I dont believe Apple would allow anyone to receive before the 25th, plus T mobile shipped on launch day last year but for everyone's sake hope I am wrong. Personally I was told the 26th.

On the last iPhone model, some people received their devices a few days before launch.. so don't be surprised!

What do you guys see in your agreements for end of lease buyouts, as I am seeing the following:

iPhone 6s - RG - 64GB - $182
iPhone 6s+ - S - 64gb - $210

If you are looking at the website it is glitchy. Look at the agreement. The numbers look right though. The buy out on the iPhone 6 16gb is 162 with 15 a month plus tax payment.

100% Wrong. Last year LOTS of people got it the 25th. UPS even delivered crazy into the late evening to get people their phones by that day. Don't spout that **** unless you go back and literally read that thread from last year. They even delivered **** on Saturdays which normally doesn't happen for tmobile. LOTS of people get labels created days before the release and they got shipped 1 day the day before to get it on release. 100% he's wrong.

Have at it. Read from our experience. we tracked numbers, planes, distribution centers, even pink check marks randomly that showed up on people's account orders. THats MY source.

Well, 1 order down and 1 to go. Just got the JOD agreement for my wife's Rose Gold 64 GB. Looks like they didn't charge us the $99.99 down payment (we jumped from a 16 GB 6) and added a few dollars per month to make up for it. Whatever--it's all the same in the end. And we're still saving money every month since switching from strictly EIPs to JOD.

Hopefully my order comes through soon.

Would they have been able to help you if you had not yet signed the agreement? I have the same problem but haven't signed yet. I'm waiting for T-mo customer service to call me back (asked for the call back instead of staying on hold). I feel sure they are going to say I will need to pre-order again, but I'll see what they say.
I think it doesn't matter but I'm not sure. I'm aggravated that I missed open day getting phone, but if can upgrade for no extra fee and get the JOD right, it is what it is.
