I called four times and on then they finally said my order was canceled. While I was on the phone with my rep, she was able to send me the EIP installment right away - which I received. Problem is, the pricing doesn't seem like it would reflect the original iPhone JOD promo pricing of $15/$19..
What does your bill look like?

100% Wrong. Last year LOTS of people got it the 25th. UPS even delivered crazy into the late evening to get people their phones by that day. Don't spout that **** unless you go back and literally read that thread from last year. They even delivered **** on Saturdays which normally doesn't happen for tmobile. LOTS of people get labels created days before the release and they got shipped 1 day the day before to get it on release. 100% he's wrong.

Have at it. Read from our experience. we tracked numbers, planes, distribution centers, even pink check marks randomly that showed up on people's account orders. THats MY source.
Apple launched on the 19th not the 25th. Point is their is NO guarantee for 25th unlike Apple who guarantees a 25th delivery or in store pickup. Again I was personally told the 26th but with the look of preorder mess I wouldn't hold my breath, but good luck.

I ordered two. One has shipping and the other doesn't. How many of you have been charged for shipping?

oh ok the dates are wrong but I'm just ****ing writing quickly here-- a year ago..same ******** as now. READ that thread. There's HUNDREDS of people who were in that and PLENTY and I mean a **** ton got their phones on release date. I was not one of them. My order got ****ed up. But I'm saying is that yah they can't GAURUNTEE they'll have phones because theyre under apple's whim but they most certainly can get them to ship out for their customers to use that 25th. Hell in that thread there are PLENTY of unboxing pictures from people who got it that day/evening. So don't tell me I'm wrong, I ****ing lived it.

Yeah I wouldn't trust T-Mobile with anything honestly, they prove they can't manage things like this, but they most definitely will ship the phones the 24th for people to get the 25th once they get them. That's up to apple but last year they did get them. Apple also determines how many of each and what kind each place gets for every huge batch. The orders started getting filled randomly at one point. All the space greys were getting labels made, then all the gold 16gb pluses came in a chunk.

It CAN happen that they don't get any out the 24th for people to have on the 25th but that didn't happen on last year's release- what I was trying to stress. Don't scare people for no reason.

Last year was the jump priority last min/filling orders all out of order fiasco. And losing a lot of the early entries in the system randomly.

Same reason they have "backorder" under most/if not all varieties. They don't know what they have yet from Apple. So till they get phones closer to release date they label everything as 'backordered'.

This has probably been answered but I got my EIP late and haven't been able to follow everything.

I'm on the iPhone JOD, $19 a month plan for the 6+

I upgraded this morning to the 6s+ 64gb, which they told me it would be $99 down. I tried the "free" memory upgrade but no luck.

Now, on my EIP I have nothing down...

Monthly payments are 38.59 for 18 months = 694.39
Payoff = 210

So that is 904. 39

----

Now going by the old JOD plan I'm on, they credit every bill $12.

So that would be 26.59 for 18 months which = 478.62

And the payoff would be = 210

So that is 688.39ish....right? If they do the 12 dollar credit like they were doing?

I guess what I'm asking is where is the 99 dollars for the upgrade factored in? I assumed they rolled it into the monthly price, but that is still a significant discount for the phone if a 64gb 6s+ only costs 688 total?

Sorry for the long post :)

Couple interesting things when calling to preorder this afternoon. The rep said that I get overnight shipping and it's free. I end up getting charged 6.99 shipping along with my (2) $99 memory upgrade down payments. Also, and this was really strange/funny idk, she says phones are scheduled to ship on the 17th so I should have mine on the 18th. Ok suuuuuuuuuuure. She also quoted my JOD payments as $20/mo on a 64 GB 6s and $22 on a 64 GB 6s+.

So I currently am on Verizon but I feel like making the move to t-mobile. I have a 4S will I be able to go into a store on release day and be able to get the iPhone 6S? Will I be able to bring my old phone # with me?

Yes you should be able to port your number. I imagine stock of various model, color, sizes will vary widely store to store.

Enter your number and see if you are eligible to port that phone number over:

I ordered my 64gb 6s today. The rep told me the JoD pricing shows the $26/mo charge for 18 months, but each month as long as I am a T-Mobile customer, I will get a $7 bill credit. That $7/mo bill credit applies to everyone that signs up for this special promo. Not an unfair deal and will save you $126 over 18 months compared to buying the phone outright.

Separate question: can I add AppleCare+ to an iPhone that I buy via the JoD promo? Has anyone done this previously?

Yes. You have 30 days. Take the device to an Apple Store and request apple care be added. You may need to present a proof of purchase.

Yes you can get applecare+. Just bring the phone to Apple within 30 days.

Since there would be a credit in monthly bill to get the promo price for JoD, how does it work when cancelling the JoD program?
Do we pay the promo price for the remaining months?

Howdy folks. It's great to have a thread for all of us to gather in! I'm an AT&T customer that's switching to T-Mobile. I saw John Legere's videos just two days ago and was amazed by what he is doing. I said what the heck and decided to dissect every last detail and carefully balance the numbers. Bottom line is I'm saving a lot of money by switching to T-Mobile and I'm getting far more benefits for doing so.

I got two temporary SIMs from the T-Mo store tonight and signed up for service, so I'm all ready to go the moment the telephone lines open up for pre-orders. Now let's all keep our fingers crossed that we don't have to endure ultra-long wait times on the phone!

Cheers and best of luck to everyone tonight...
I basically did the same exact thing. Switching from AT&T. I preordered a White/Silver 128gb 6S. Once I get the new phone I'm gonna turn in my old phone and transfer my number and they are paying off my contract. It's a great deal and I'm Saving money too!!!

So are a lot of us still waiting on our email, or am I alone now and need to call and find out if I have an order, lol.

So are a lot of us still waiting on our email, or am I alone now and need to call and find out if I have an order, lol.

Ordered over the phone at 12:45 pm and had a JOD agreement email within 5 minutes of the call ending.

I'm in a similar boat. I talked to a T-Mobile senior supervisor and he said T-Mobile is aware of the problem and they will come out with a fix probably in 2-3 weeks, but in the meantime, he said we need to sign our contract or our orders will be cancelled. This is bull-crap. No one should be signing a legally-binding contract that lists the wrong pricing. Doing so is incredibly foolish.

While normally I would agree, Mr. Legere is on video as saying if we are on the old promo we KEEP THE SAME PRICE, and don't have to do anything. So while it is incredibly confusing, he can't talk around that....not that he is trying to. I think the ordering is just all screwed up.

I just spent 4 hours on the phone with customer care. I kid you not. I ended up with a supervisor.
They messed up my order and added a plus when I said just a 6S.
He made a new EIP and said sign it and they'll sort it out when the other expires. Kind of sketchy since it states my down payment is $742.03. Not sure how I feel about this. Maybe it's because they can't credit the full amount because of the other EIP? I'm now at the back of the line despite ordering at launch

Back at this again.

Pre-ordered 6S Silver 64GB and got EIP saying 6S Space Gray 64GB, so the guy I talked to put in the wrong phone I suppose. I then called and asked if there was any way to fix this, but the only option was to cancel the order and lose my spot in the pre-order.

I asked if I could go in to a store within the 14 day return range and get an exchange for a silver 6S and the rep said that I could.

Anyone have any experience with this actually working?

This order has been such a. Cluster for me. I just got all the EIP emails. I click to review my order and it takes me to a page where you can manually add in order details. I do that and it tells me order cannot have letters. So I remove the letter and the order number is invalid; I'm told I need to log in to check order status. So I do that, there is nothing in my order status. Lol what gives?

I also noticed that the order times are completely different, each varying by at least 4 hours from the other thoufh all sayxseptember 12.

So I ordered mine at 3 am EDT but for some reason my esignature email said "order placed: 09/12/2015 at 04:55 PM PDT" a little worried that ive lost my place in line because on the Tmobile subreddit a mod said something along the lines of orders placed last night were written down but had to be manually entered into the system today -_- . What gives? Hopefully i still get my phone on/before launch day

Yes. You have 30 days. Take the device to an Apple Store and request apple care be added. You may need to present a proof of purchase.

The one issue that I can foresee is that if apple replaces your handset under applecare, the phone’s serial will not match that of your t-mobile JOD service. This would mean that you would not be able to trade-up your iPhone.

Full price for the remainder of the payments.
