So after more back and forth with Tmobile on twitter, they seem to be pretty sure my order in store never went through. I have contacted Tmobile executive response and they have emailed me back saying that someone will be in touch to straighten it out. Am hoping that they will be able to!
I can't image not having insurance on a phone (in my case) that cost $949 dollars. I'm not prone to loosing it or don't "think" its going to get stolen but it happens. I think thats just crazy.. but to each their own.
I got a EIP with a down payment of 430.29 and a monthly payment of 12.41, I signed it before I understood what was going on because 3 different reps have told me my order is priced at 0.00. I received the same text that you got.I just received this message. I am not sureness to make of it since I got all EIP (though one was Very wrong asking for a $444 down payment). I'm supposed to get s call back from a supervisor today but, again, no new orders were placed.
This pricing is absolutely perfect. Here is the math of how you save 125$
The 28.19 pricing is including your state tax. Remove that for comparison sake. So the cost you are billed per month pre tax is 26. On each bill tmbile gives you a credit of 7 for the next 18 months. So the amount you pay actually will be 26 - 7 = 19$. This amount is payed for 18 months.
Hence what you pay in 18 months =
100$ (downpayment before taxes) + 19x18 = 100 + 342 = 442
Note, I am ignoring taxes for comparison.
Your cost to keep the phone at 18 months is 182. Hence total cost to ownership pre taxes is
442 + 182 = 624.
Retail cost = 749.
You save 749 - 624 = 125
This math works out for any and every 6s and 6s plus model under Jump On Demand, the numbers might vary but the net result is 125 dollars worth of savings.
1) Did you really cancel the previous orders or are you just not signing them until they've expired?
2) Can you login to your T-Mobile account, go to Billing, Click the Bottom Right (where it mentions Jump Lease), and show how many open phones you have under completed leases?
I currently have 2 open phones (the 6s should be deleted after I let the eSignature expire). (Picture Attached)
3) What did the monthly bill payments look like on your newest contract? Mine are attached.
Apple care doesn't cover loss or theft.Did everyone include insurance on your jump on demand order? The breakdown between that and AppleCare is this:
Tmobile: monthly charge (8x12) $96 plus the deductible $175 would come to $271 should you need a replacement.
Apple: down payment $129 plus deductible $99 would come to $228 should you need a replacement.
The $43 is a big difference, but I'm thinking it's not worth the hassle of changing my plan and screwing my order up. And hopefully I'll just never have to use it. Thoughts?
I ordered two phones at 3:30 AM. I received the EIP for one last night, but not the other. Has this happened to anyone else? The orders were made no more than five minutes apart.
So it's now about 13 hours later since I received the EIP for one pre-ordered phone, but one email still not yet received.
Apple care doesn't cover loss or theft.
Another day, still don't have anything in writing confirming that I ordered a second iPhone for my wife.
I have something for the first phone but they want me to sign something with their word that I'll get a "discount" later.
In spite of staying up all night and ordering at the beginning, my place in line is as if I would have slept in, had breakfast, and enjoyed my day before pre-ordering.
F#$@# this. I was switching over from AT&T, but not any more. I'm done with this mess. I have better things in my life to do.
I got a text about the order this morning. so least that finally happened.
When did you order. I ordered right around 12:05 PT and was done in 5 mins, and got a 0011xxxx order #.
No text, no email. Everyone says we are working hard to get your orders in the system. I have a feeling that there was no point staying up to preorder.
What he is worried about is that they are in fact under no legal obligation to give you that credit because you signed a contract at the higher amount. I agree that this is how Tmo does it and that they WILL give you the credit but you could be held to the contract if they were to insist.Stop worrying the discount comes on the bill this was the case when I got iPhone 6 plus on JOD. The EIP says more then they just credit you every month.
Has anyone's order shown up on their account page? Mine still says to check back after 24-72 hours.

How stupid is that?! I wasn't expecting the text. And after insisting to talk to a manager when the last two I talked to said "it's $4xx because it's a 6s plus" she finally said I would be credited and that a supervisor would call me. Having a bill credit does me no good. I have no intention of keeping this device for more than a year. If I'm paying $470 (tax included) I may as well buy full retail at the Apple Store. Luckily I reserved two 64gb 6s+, so in not SOL, but jump on demand is (or was) and attractive option since I don't have to deal with the hassle of selling the device. I lose a bit of money in the long run, but he way they have me set up now I would lose a lot more n*sigh*I got a EIP with a down payment of 430.29 and a monthly payment of 12.41, I signed it before I understood what was going on because 3 different reps have told me my order is priced at 0.00.
