You would think companies would prepare for this a week or so in advance. I would think they would sit down and run through scenarios but apparently they don't do that. It would seem that a large part of it is just correct user input. I've seen a number of people who they T-Mobile ordered them the wrong device. They T-Mobile also don't seem to understand the difference between Jump! And JOD and that is a serious issue.


Yeah. I would have thought that they would have rented out some massive servers or something. Stress tested the crap out of their system forwards and backwards after last year, but it doesn't seem like they did that. The servers weren't even up for them till closer to mid morning that's why all early orders are being hand done/could have the wrong time listed. A lot of them are confused by what to do about this hand processed order stuff too. One told me it was fine and indicated as an early order, but the exec rep had to manually go in a change my time to match in order to fix it. The need some streamlining of communications and hiring a trouble shoot team JUST to prepare them for these preorders lol
 
I just paid $121 in Tax for two 6S+ 64GB for the monthly installment plan. Sounds like tax on full price to me.
 
For people that are purchasing the iPhone 6s+ in 64GB how much are you paying for the down payment? I was told $99 plus tax, then I was told $99 plus tax of the whole phone. Does anyone know?

$99 + tax of the entire cost of the phone.
 
I got a call from TMo about my CC info, and it turned out they had my model type wrong too. The rep quickly processed and corrected the order. Got the EIP and Conf almost immediately after - all set to go. Let the waiting begin. I ordered at 1201, with the call completed around 1215.

Edit: Payed 99 down with EIP of 31.89-12 EIP JOD discount. 64gb SG 6S+

Supervisor finally called. Of course my order was messed up. She said she added a new order with the same place in line. I got my EIP right away with this order number S006190***. Here's one good thing that came from it. I asked about the free 128gb. I was getting 64. She told me that the 128s are sold out, BUT they will still honor it. Noted my account and said that when the 128s are in, I just need to walk into a store and swap it for the 128 at no extra charge. :)
 
Yeah because people aren't perfect. I suppose you have never made a single mistake ever. Try handling hundreds of thousands of orders in a matter of hours. It's just ignorant the way people are acting and treating T-Mobile customer service. Most of the people you are harassing aren't even the ones that took your order. Grow up its a phone.
Give me a break. I deal with customer service people all the time, but every interaction I've had with t-mobile is a mess. They never seem to know what they are talking about. You get a different story every time you call and none of their computer systems talk to each other. They manage to screw up every order or return or credit they ever done for me. I have never dealt with a company that's such a disaster. Obviously, the reps get little or no training. They always seem to have to ask someone else the answer to most questions you ask.

On top of that, I did a Jump upgrade at 12:30am and still haven't even received the EIP email. I can just about guarantee that my order will be screwed up.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I couldn't even order the phone on their site because it thinks it's a tablet and will only allow me to upgrade to a tablet.

I'm on Jump! Paid 199 plus 66 in tax. The tax is on the entire cost of the phone so in my case it should be 949 x .07 = 66$ and some change. it's not the tax on the 199 I put down.
 
I paid 99.99 down then 56 ish bucks on tax and thats on the whole phone. I'm in PA and we have a 7% sales tax here, so that adds up right. So it was on the whole phone for me at least.

Yeah it's been like this for a minute. I remember years ago I was in the AT&T store buying a phone for my mom on her account. Dude told me the price and I looked at him like he was crazy and said "I thought you said just tax?" And he said "yes, but it's tax on the full price of the phone."

I thought that was the wackest thing on earth.
 
After not receiving any emails then a few calls tonight. First they had it not setup as jump on demand. Even though confirmed all at 4am est on Saturday and gave the credit card for the $99 down payment to up to the 64gb. They wanted a $400 down payment tonight. Told them that's not the case and he got in contact with higher ups and called me back and offered the no money down and up to the 128gb. He told me I would keep my $19 device lease amount from the promo that ended last week. Got my document to sign and says my monthly payment is $42.53. Does this sound correct before I sign?

My iPhone 6 Plus (128GB) came to $42 a month and I'm supposed to be at $19 a month. I didn't pay anything up front - so if you didn't either that looks just like mine.

You're not supposed to put anything down if you already had the 64GB phone on JOD!

No, signing up as new JOD customer. Own my current 6Plus 64GB.
Just completed all my order again today on the phone and they're giving me the $12 credit (instead of $7 for new JOD customer) to compensate for all the errors in processing.

So ordered 2 phones for 2 lines:
6S 64GB Gold
6S 64GB Rose Gold
What did your monthly payments come to?

$99 plus tax on that $99 only.
You shouldn't have paid anything out of pocket if you already paid $99 for the 6 you had on JOD.

Yeah lol I always forget about the tax and I have this look of oh jesus when they all slip that total in on me. and on that contract you see theres an "(e)" there next to the tax total it means estimate aka we're gonna bone you soon on that grand total

I ordered a 6S Plus 128GB in space grey for myself and an iPhone 6 128GB in Rose gold for my wife. And they will be here on the 25th of September!!! Yay

EDIT: I ordered a 6S 128 in Rose gold for my wife. Not the 6.

Same for me. Got the upgrade to 128gb from 64gb. Nothing down and my payments show up the same as yours on the EIP rep made sure to let me know it will still be 19 a month and it will not raise the monthly cost for getting the free upgrade in memory.

These were 2 new lines. I've only had a 1GB iPad plan for 4 months. I'm gonna port over from At&T when I get these phones.

Funny thing is I was already talking to the wife about what I was going to do to get the iPhone 7 and haven't got the 6s yet. That said yeah I'm excited but will get a little more anxious towards the middle of the week after next.
