My words of advice for all. I already had a 64gb 6+ on JOD. I too was told I could jump to the 6s+ with no extra cost and keep the same monthly payment. I called and ordered at midnight. The rep said I absolutely could not get a 64gb 6s+ unless I paid 99 down. I was upset but then said forget it and decided to get the 128gb if I had to pay a down payment anyway. I then read about everyone getting this free memory upgrade and going from a 16gb to a 128 gb at no charge. I called back at 3am. This rep said there is no such memory upgrade but I could just get a 64gb 6s+ with no extra down payment. I said ok and canceled the previous order and got the 64gb. Today I get an EIP agreement for a normal EIP plan with no JOD they wanted to charge 99 down plus the tax and 24 monthly payments. I called again. This rep said the order was I put completely wrong. He then was able to give me the 128gb 6s+ at no charge. He said there also should be no shipping cost whatsoever on the pre orders. I got the correct EIP 4 minutes later and signed it. Have a new 128gb for free on its way. He also verified I would still be paying the 19 a month after billing credits monthly. I suggest to those out there who have the wrong EIP had to pay for shipping or a down payment for the same memory to call a rep over and over until you get a knowlegible one.

Something tells me you will be in for a surprise.

Question. For those worried about why the EIP doesn't reflect their $12 credit to get them to the $15/19 price, and you were on the JOD AMP program, did you read through the rest of the contract? Don't just stop after the price part and jump to the signature section, as you'll miss a very key section. If you read down, starting at the end of page 4, it says:

"For Customers participating in the iPhone 6 Promotion only: By leasing any model of an iPhone 6 (including an iPhone 6 Plus) and participating in the iPhone 6 Promotion, you will receive up to 18 monthly bill credits of $12.00 for as long as you continue to lease the iPhone 6 under this JUMP! ON DEMAND Lease Agreement and maintain wireless service for the iPhone 6. You will also continue to receive a bill credit if you exercise your JUMP! ON DEMAND upgrade option described below prior to December 31, 2015 to lease any other eligible iPhone 6 model or a successor model to the iPhone 6 and maintain wireless service for the device. If you exercise your JUMP! ON DEMAND upgrade option and lease a qualifying iPhone from us, we may adjust the amount of your monthly bill credit such that your monthly lease payment for a standard-model device is $15.00 and your monthly lease payment for a Plus-model device is $19.00, in each case plus any applicable taxes. Notwithstanding anything else set forth in this JUMP! ON DEMAND Lease Agreement, if you no longer lease the iPhone 6 or successor device under a JUMP! ON DEMAND Lease Agreement for any reason or fail to maintain any active T-Mobile wireless service plan for the iPhone 6 or successor device, you will no longer receive any bill credit and may be subject to the terms, as applicable, of the “Early Termination” or “Wireless Service” section set forth in this lease or similar terms set forth in a successor JUMP! ON DEMAND Lease Agreement. See www.T-Mobile.com for more information, including additional terms and conditions, applicable to the iPhone 6 Promotion."

For those that are seeing $40+ EIP's for iP6S+'s, that could be addressed by the line highlighted in red.

It's in the EIP contract. Just keep reading... :)

It was a Kyocera android device I got off the clearance shelf at Target. Just go on TMobiles online trade in site and if the phone shows up you can use it. There are a lot of cheap options from Blu that are accepted.

I just bought a Verizon Motorola Razr in pink on eBay for $22. I'll trade that in and sell my iPhone for a few hundred more than T-Mobile was going to give me. Thanks for your help!

I used regular Jump! But what I'm gonna do is pay off my existing 6+ 128gb for $375 then sell it on either swappa or Craigslist for around $550 which is a really good price. That's better than giving it too T-Mobile for $375.

That's exactly what I'm going to do! As soon as i heard that it was "possibly a $370" trade in I left the store I was in. Can almost get 1.5x that in swappa or other website

I got my EIP and it was for the 6S, not the 6S+ that I ordered. I called and they said they know, that it's been noted on my account that I will be sent the correct phone, and that I should still sign the EIP (???) and there's NO need to call back.

I called back :p

And was told the same identical thing by the next person. So I signed it. I'm still super confused though. I have been super patient trying not to bombard them w/phone calls, but I wanted to double check. Not sure why they couldn't just send me a new EIP....

  • They DO ship UPS other carriers use different companies. Last year, they shipped UPS so 99.99% that **** hasn't changed. So sign up for the Ups first my choice whatever account. It will text/email you the moment a label is generated for your house address. You can see how much it weighs and see its an iPhone and where it's coming from. All were coming from the huge distribution centre in KY last year I believe. All the phones came thru China/Alaska and then went to Lexington.

  • The BIG thing was making your bank or credit card alert you when you got charged over certain amounts. So that way you could see ASAP when tmobile charged you for the phone charges/taxes etc. If they charge you, they physically have a phone processed for YOU and its on its way shortly to you.

^^ HUGE in saving you some hassle and knowing where your phone in the process.

Ugh! Can't do the my choice. I live in a condo and when I submit my address it says it's a commercial address and can't accept the submission.

I'm a brand new customer and ordered over the phone. My order status page says: "
We received your electronic signature authorization on 09/13/2015"

and "Order status: Order Placed"

which I assume is normal. Does anyone know for sure?

Oh that sucks. :( Well the bank alert is a great way too. I forgot to get rid of mine from last year so every time I spent over 50 bucks I got a text and email lol So annoying but paid off during phone drama

I ordered the iphone 6s+ rose gold 128 i could not order online my email was not working for the online system then i called in and placed the order (that order I placed on the phone got canceled so they had to redo it so i would get back to the front of the line (25th) delivery area I will definitely know when my iphone will be here on thursday thats when they start shipping (and on the phone My address wouldn't work so it had to get shipped to a new address and then i can have it held for pickup at ups when it ships but I will have to travel to pick it up no big deal for me though

After much band and forth with exec response, they finally were able to place the order around 4:30 eastern today. I got the lease agreement email and just signed it. I have an order number, but nothing showing up on my order screen yet--only things from last year. Also, weirdly enough, when I go to billing, the lease section is entirely gone. I will check this stuff all again tomorrow in hopes it is just taking its time to update.

I don't think some people realize how silly they sound...

Actually I don't think T-Mobile realizes how inept this makes them look...

This is a multibillion dollar company. And this isn't a brand new, never before done launch. This is the IPHONE. A phone released EVERY SINGLE YEAR for the past EIGHT years. The WORLD knows and is prepared for this phone to launch. Why would not this multibillion dollar company, who for the past 2 years has branded and Promoted themselves as "shaking up the industry", be prepared for THIS moment? T-Mobile sets standards for their customers. Pay your bill on time. Pay off X amount to be able to upgrade. Etc. Now we, the PAYING customers have absolute right to set standards for the company, and that includes people who preorder a device at a specific time (set by Apple and T-Mobile) with certain guidelines (Jump and Jump On Demand customers get priority) having their orders processed PROPERLY and without error.

It's 2015. If a company cannot set up a proper preordering system for a device released once a year EVERY year like clockwork, then they deserve every bit of criticism coming their way, amd customers have a RIGHT to demand that their orders are placed correctly

Yeah, I didn't want to be this person but they totally screwed my order up :p I'm probably going to have to order a second phone and send the first back at this point, because of being told too many different things by too many different people. And now it's the 14th so priority window is over. Oh, Tmo.

I'm happy that my plan is so much cheaper than it was with ATT, but times like this it doesn't seem worth it.

I just signed the eSignature today even though I received it yesterday.

I got the email confirmation but the text never came through. You guys think I should be concerned?

Agreed.

All the reps kept saying that they weren't prepared for the volume of the orders that they got. I was like "Um. Hold up. Your CEO has a freakin' manifesto on your website talking about this awesome deal you guys are offering and you didn't expect this volume? Yeah. That makes like...all the sense in the world." SMH. They've gotta do better.

Or didn't last year give them a clue lol. I'd imagine this year isn't even as crazy as last year since this phone is generally the 'same'. This 6s model is probably pretty popular, but I'm still gonna say that the 6 was a bigger deal. I hope they get a ****ing clue by time the 7 is out hah.

You and me both! Especially because many more people will be buying the 7. My sister and I both talked to different corporate office reps after we sent a couple strongly worded emails and they both indicated this wasn't as bad as last year. Why would you tell people that?! This year wasn't good at ALL! Don't tell me the equivalent of "Well, it could be worse." LOL.

I've been a My Choice member since the 5 I think. Was it the 6? I get confused. LOL. Anyway, right now I have all my deliveries set to go to a local UPS Store--not hub--because it's more convenient and I can know my deliveries are safe. Apple wouldn't deliver my computer to the store, though; guess the same will hold true for the phone. Gonna chat with them tomorrow to verify. If they won't, I'm sure gonna have my mom spend the day at my house. LOL.

Yeah the exec rep I spoke with was nice but even he was like oh this isn't as bad as last year so we have that going for us..... its STILL a trainwreck compared to how it should be. I'm not asking for hot cocoa and a foot rub while I order my phone I'm asking for it not to be a giant fiasco where I have to babysit my order situation or else I end up in boned-town. lol

Ps we're phone twinsies. "64GB Rose Gold 6s on.the.way." <-- same lol

lol yeah I learned about that fun trick last rodeo. I ended up having different people in my family stay home all day different days of that week since we all had NO idea when our phones were all coming in. TMo kept giving us false hope/promises and was super late.

So I got the right EIP sent to me and I signed it, but whatever place I had in line at 3am on Saturday is gone I'm sure. Hopefully they've got enough phones for me to get mine on time but at this point I'm just glad I'll be getting the right phone. :p

I'm neeeeever ordering over the phone again lol. I don't blame these reps for sometimes transcribing things wrong with thousands of orders, I get it's just my bum luck that it hit me, but the fact that they are transcribing things at all in 2015 is nuts. And being a regular JUMP customer I didn't even really need to do it over the phone, but with last year's website crashes, I foolishly thought this would be the faster way. Oh well.
