Thanks everyone for posting. I ordered around 4:30 AM on 9/12 but as of this morning hadn't received any confirmation or EIP. It was a new account setup as I'm switching from AT&T and I did at 16 gb silver 6s JoD. The CSR said wait 24-48 hours, so I waited.

I called this morning to check on the order. The CSR said the person who took the order the other night did not complete the order properly and a "special team" would be working on resolving incomplete orders tomorrow, 9/15. She scheduled them to call me at 8:00 AM ET tomorrow to complete the order. She added that my original order date/time would still be valid so I won't lose my place in line. So hopefully they're working through some of the orders that weren't processed properly. If you're not seeing any evidence of the order or didn't receive a confirmation, I'd definitely call just to check. Everyone has been very nice, though, so I'm not really all that bothered. It's a new phone, I can't get too upset about it.

Thank you for the updated I hope things work out for you. Be sure to stay on top of the situation since that is the only way to see it through.

I hope T-Mobile decides to enter the modern world next year and use an automated computer system instead of Post-It notes.

Exactly. With the promo pricing for JOD right now, Jump seems like a bad deal, even if you pay the $8 a month for the insurance.

For new customers it's a no-brainer to go JOD over JUMP, but for people who are currently paying on an EIP with JUMP it may not be that easy for everyone to pay off their phones yet (which they must do in order to switch). And buying a cheaper phone only to jump immediately may have been too much of a hassle for whatever reason. I will say I wish I'd checked my phone's trade in value before proceeding with my JUMP upgrade--it's $16 more than I currently owe. Live and learn...

This is exactly what happened to me. Although I wanted the lower monthly price point that came with JoD, I'm not gonna pitch an entire fit if it can't be easily fixed without A) messing up my order and B) losing my spot in line.

What's worse, though, is I was told by both the store and corporate that I can't do JoD unless my current phone is paid off, but that is NOT what's happening to other people. Others I know with balances on their phones have been able to go from Jump to JoD with no issue. I have them looking into it.

Did they have a trade in value that covered it?

Can you buy Apple Care Plus for a JoD device? Would this cause problems with bringing back a different phone than you were given?
All they care about is the IMEI number being the same one and meeting the 3 requirements stated on their phone return lease policy. Given that Apple is a generous company, they might replace a phone for you if the repairs takes days. I honestly don't think you should get Apple Care for that reason. Haha.

Probably. As I would've, too--well close to it. The difference between what I owe on my phone and the T-Mo trade in value is like $35.

Yeah, this probably would've worked well for me too. Ah well. With my luck the same thing probably would've happened to me as did to you and some others and it wouldn't have gone through anyway. :p

Quick recap. Called in at 12:01AM on Saturday. Waited about 40 minutes or so on the phone. Placed orders for 2 iPhone 6S Gold (64 and 128).

Received confirmation e-mails in the morning. Noticed that CSR had ordered Rose Gold for the 128GB phone, despite having gone through the order on the phone a few times, and before hanging up. Called in the morning and was told color cannot be changed and have to cancel the order and do a new one. At this time frustration was high, as I was trying to explain that I would lose my spot on the line and go back to the end of the line. Didn't matter. System was down, CSR said would call back at 11PM. Didn't receive the call.

Called back around 11:45PM. CSR cancelled original order, but system was going through some upgrade and couldn't complete the new order. Told me she'd check a few more times during her shift and she would call back if system was up again. Didn't get a callback.

Called again at around 8:30AM. Got a pretty uninformed CSR. Didn't place a jump on demand, after several times mentioning it, got a 6s plus, despite having mentioned just 6S several times. Anyway, after some back and forth he got the order right, but guess what. Some system problems. In the end he didn't mention any further system problems, but told me to check e-mail and if I didn't receive an e-mail in 2 hours to callback. Waited 3 hours, no e-mail. Called back.

This time I called the new pre-order number on the T-Mobile site (1-844-740-1855) hoping this phone would point to the CSR with more experience with the promotion. I guess I was right. CSR was able to get past the system issue and place the order. Got the confirmation e-mails while still on the phone. Signed the document while still on the call. Problem finally solved.

Re-read lease documents at night and got a bit concerned as the monthly payments seemed higher than what the promotion says. Called back again. CSR reassured me that I will get a $7 credit every month per phone. Looks like tax is calculated on the amount before the discount.

Quite an odyssey to order the phones. Definitely much more difficult than when I was ordering from the Apple Store for AT&T for a 2 year plan. I hope they streamline the process for next year.

Only silver lining is that it seems the iPhone 6s is not in backorder and all this back and forth hopefully doesn't delay the phone and it arrives on or soon after launch day.

Ordered Saturday morning. The rep signed me up for EIP instead of jump on demand. Called back yesterday to get it corrected. Still didn't have a confirmation email today so I called back. There was an issue with my order so she had to re-enter. Now I'm set. I wouldn't sweat it. You'll all get it on launch. Apple's store is still showing delivery date of 9/25 for most models.

You are able to switch from JUMP! to JoD as long as the current JUMP! phone Trade in Value covers the EIP on the phone... Makes sense?

Anddddd changed from my Apple reservation to the T-Mobile deal. $558.01 (gold 16GB 6s) total after 18 months (if we don't jump to anything else). Appreciated the $225~ savings over Apple. Not worried about AppleCare or insurance at this time.

now the jump on demand special 20$ a month for 6s 24$ for 6plus .. why no one ever worry about the buy out price after 18 month

if I refuse delivery is there still a $75 restocking fee because if I don't have my phone on the 25th I am going to my Apple Store appointment and paying full price.

I ordered my 6s Plus through tmobile website. Have my confirm emails. Did an online chat today, they stated no delivery estimates until early next week. Ordered a SG 64gb 6s plus. Hopefully no holdup

Totally.

And it doesn't cover the EIP totally. I owe a whopping $35 more on the phone than its trade in value. But I was told as long as I pay that $35 it's all good. So why the drama I don't know. Corporate just emailed me and said that they will have someone call me to get it taken care of. His answer was that I can go from Jump to JoD but will have two EIP payments as long as there is a balance on the JUMP phone. Which I think is a more confusing way of saying what you just said. I have to have that phone paid off but it, theoretically, can pay itself off as long as the value is high enough.

So, I finally got my iPhone 6s+ pre-ordered and Jump on Demand Lease agreement has been signed and emailed back! I called back in this morning to make sure everything was going to go through, since they told me they would call me back this morning and didn't. They had in the system to call me back on Wednesday and not this morning. LOL wow, why even longer days? They made the initial mistake. Either way, TMO Customer service has been EXCELLENT!! I can't imagine how crappy its been in this whole process. I really lost a HUGE amount of spaces in line and probably went from day 1 getting phone to like 2-4 weeks* estimate from TMO site. was S00605xxxx to now S00620xxxx LOL Anywho, they did hook me up tho. I originally ordered the 6s+ 16GB Rose Gold and *given the good heads up/tip* I asked about the larger storage. She not only got me the 128GB iPhone 6s+ Rose Gold, but waived the $199 deposit that should have come with the bigger storage as well. PLUS she made sure I am only going to pay the $19/month for the JOD lease hardware *same price I pay now for the 16GB iPhone 6+* So, I should have like a $23 bill credit every month to make the payment for my JOD $19/month since I got in on that earlier promo before the Apple Event. GREAT thanks to the heads up in this thread and the GREAT help from y'all and TMO customer service!!

How is everyone getting their EIP's emailed to them while still on the phone? It's been almost 2 days and I haven't received mine.

I've always had excellent experiences with T-Mobile customer service. I think this whole ordeal was a big case of them not being properly trained for the launch, especially with the JOD factor being added a few months prior.

I would've called long ago if I were you... The EIP email says you have to sign it within 48 hours of your purchase or your order gets canceled.

If I hadn't called yesterday about not receiving one of the EIP emails (one of two) I would not have known that the order was not made.

I hope this gets updated: https://flightaware.com/live/iphone that was pretty fun last year to follow.

The exec who spoke with me about that was that they have 72 hrs from when you confirmed the order to send you the EIP then from when you get it you have 48 hrs to sign/send it back. So technically they had someeee leeway in there, but I wouldn't trust them lol.

That makes more sense to me, but the EIP emails say, "Please complete this process within 48 hours of your purchase, or we will have to cancel your order." Since it says purchase, I assume they mean from the time they submitted your order on the phone. Though what you said would be a better way.

The thing about T-Mobile pre-orders is that there are different answers, depending on where/when you ask or look. Kind of ridiculous if you think about it lol.

Got mine while on the phone. Can't say why, though.

Seems to be a matter of whether the systems were down or not for the rep who took your order. Most of us who ordered right away on Saturday did so while the systems were down, not knowing that the reps were actually just jotting our info down to place the order later. People who ordered during the day saturday and into sunday were more likely to have their info input directly into the system live, and get their email sooner. But from some of the comments, the systems have been off and on a bit throughout the weekend, so even that isn't a great indicator. I would call in asap.
