during the 18 month lease on JoD, if I change to another phone 6 months later, would my lease be renewed to 18 months or I will only have 12 months remaining?
 
I was told today is the first day you can sign up for JoD over the phone instead of having to go into a store. Told me over an hour because no one had done it yet.
 
That makes more sense to me, but the EIP emails say, "Please complete this process within 48 hours of your purchase, or we will have to cancel your order." Since it says purchase, I assume they mean from the time they submitted your order on the phone. Though what you said would be a better way.

The thing about T-Mobile pre-orders is that there are different answers, depending on where/when you ask or look. Kind of ridiculous if you think about it lol.


lol yeah I don't believe half of what those people tell me. They never all match up or change their stories. I can call 10 times in a row and have 10 different versions. I would say if you don't get your EIP fairly soon after your order something is wrong. Mine didn't come when they said and here it came to an entirely different email than I confirmed on the phone order. They sent it to the email associated with billing. Luckily we caught it and got it back asap. Same with the text alerts, they sent part 1 of it to my phone (the right one) and then part 2 was sent to the other line on this account (the wrong one that didn't even upgrade lol) ****-show

Or in my case my original 12:05 order was incomplete and voided "without any notes". Re-placed again today and assured I will keep my spot in line. I'll look for my phone around Halloween.

If you order online, you sign the EIP agreement during that process. Just an FYI for anyone that wants to order through their site
 
a shipping number? The 6s or 6s Plus aren't out for another 11 days
Yep, that's definitely true, but I also definitely got a shipping number for UPS. That being said, when I went to UPS a minute ago to track it, nothing showed up. I'm assuming this is a tracking for an eventual shipment, not that I'm getting the phone earlier. Has anyone else gotten a tracking # yet?
 
After being promised a call today by a rep at 11am today & not receiving that call, I just went into a physical store and pre-ordered. What I should have done from the very beginning. Would've saved countless phone calls, headache and being sleep deprived throughout the weekend from staying up so late Friday night/Saturday morning. I really don't care if I don't get my device launch day. I'm just relieved that the order has finally been placed correctly.
 
I pre-ordered my phone Saturday afternoon and just now got a text thanking me for my device upgrade. All seems in order at this point.
 
I made three preorders on the phone the first night and two went through just fine. One was missing and I had to call again and order it. Other than that my orders seem to have gone smoothly for my family. My self I am going with the Apple iPhone Program financing but everything is sold out =( I'm pretty happy with T-Mobile though the way they handled it.
 
How is everyone getting their EIP's emailed to them while still on the phone? It's been almost 2 days and I haven't received mine.

In my case my email address was wrong initially. :rolleyes:

I just got off with phone with someone from the Office of the President. They cancelled my non JoD order and placed a new one, guaranteed me my same spot in line as though this was the initial order that I made, and gave me a couple hundred dollars in credits. Already signed the JoD agreement.

JoD was the best option for me. I don't ever really keep a phone past a year. I already know that I'm getting the iPhone 7, sight unseen. Well. Unless they make it look like that ugly Edge phone crap Android has going on right now. LOL.
 
this is the first time I'm using tmobile (from AT&T). Their preorder system is insane. Im all for uncarrier, but some of its more esoteric features like queue order are just complicating things.

also.. my god just have software for us to preorder online and TELL us our shipping estimate. You can't do the first because their uncarrier rules are difficult to navigate and understand.

I'm definitely confused and frustrated, even though the individual reps are very nice. Ordered at 1 AM Saturday, didn't get an EIP forever (finally did the next day), didn't get a text besides an "Order Confirmation". My order # is S00607###. ANyone else not get an upgrade text? I'm using Jump On Demand.

That's been my biggest gripe this whole time. BUT. 11/12 of the people I've spoken with have given me really great customer service. Especially the "exec" team. LOL.

Oh, and was told I totally wouldn't be getting my 6s+ 128gb Space Gray until November, at least according to one of the 7 reps I talked to (7!).

To each his own, but most people I know (myself included) that have actually seen the S6 Edge in person thought the curved display looked fantastic. I think the "edge features" are basically fluff, but I think it's a spectacular looking device.

The inventory is accounted for and you will get your phone sent out with our first batch. *JasonS" He then confirmed that I WILL receive my 128gb iPhone 6s Plus RG on or before launch day.

I officially am good!:)
What what what? That's good news! How do you know it was finalized? Good for you. I hope mine is counted in that.

I think the "keep your spot in line" is bogus. Regardless, nothing we can do - it's the price of Uncarrier.

Yeah, I'm feeling super uneasy about this. I preordered at 12:01AM on the 12th using JOD. FIIIINALLY got my EIP yesterday- stating my order date was the 13th. Huh? I assume that's the date someone finally keyed in my order from the ticket created at the time of my preorder.
