Call the people.

With all the mix-ups it's worth a call to verify your order got through.

Just called and the rep said she'll "follow up" later today..(which I seriously doubt)

Also, tweeted John and TForce.. let's see what they come up with!

This whole pre-ordering fiasco (turning out to be same as last year for me.. ) has now stumped all the excitement of getting a new device... At this point, I just wanna know what's going on instead of 'you're order is in the system, but we don't have an order number yet', or 'we can see you pre-ordered on the notes, but we don't have an order number yet or can't even look in to the details of the order'

The best one is ' it can take up to 72 hrs to get your EiP, and then you have 48 hrs to sign it....' Let's just hope they get the EiP right!!:rolleyes:

how are you guys able to see the order status?
I ordered at 12:06 and it still says pending with no information on it

I was literally the first person my rep talked to on the business line. I want my current order to be amended so it shows the original order date and time. I don't want to wait weeks or months for my 6splus because the original rep screwed up.

You are taken care of. As long as the order was finalized before 9 Am 9/14/15, and it was. The inventory is accounted for and you will get your phone sent out with our first batch. *JasonS

THIS is the sound of me unpuckering....

I placed my order around 12:45am on the 12th, and like many of you waited until late afternoon that day to receive and EIP (on original Jump!) and when I got confirmation on my order I noticed it said call order was placed at 4:49pm!? I called them and was told their system was overloaded and everyone who called in was placed in the system "randomly"? Why did I even waste my time to stay up and call to pre order? I feel many that waited till 10am in store jumped ahead of me... Btw my order number starts with S00612xxxx . Should I be worried that I won't get it at launch?

You're not supposed to put anything down if you already had the 64GB phone on JOD!

What did your monthly payments come to?

You shouldn't have paid anything out of pocket if you already paid $99 for the 6 you had on JOD.

So on the contract, the monthly payment is $28.xx ($26+tax) - $12 (billing credit/mo) = $16.xx/mo

I have yet to receive an email. Just a text and a followup phone call stating the person I preordered with at 5AM EST on 9/12 did not get my address and CC info correctly. T-Force did not help much and said my order is being processed. I don't care for it to be shipped on 9/25 anymore. I just want the price to be accurate and not have my bill jacked up.

Whoa. I wasn't expecting to be thinking about tracking numbers until at least a week from now. Are you sure this is for the device itself? Has your credit card been charged yet? They won't ship anything until your credit card payment goes through.
Yeah, I was really surprised too. Here's my text message for proof; I still haven't gotten anything when I've entered the number into UPS for tracking, but I'll try occasionally to see if there is any update. Also, my credit card has already been charged $178.61, which is the $99 deposit and the tax for the rest of the phone. Curious to see what happens...

Wait a minute! You got charged for the phone already? Why would they charge for something they don't physically have yet

Yeah this is entirely off from how it all went last time. They didn't charge you till they not only had an inventory of phones but that one was actually assigned to you and would be shipping out shortly there after. That's how we all were tracking our order statuses last year. That's super strange lol. Plus you seem to be the only one, last time there'd be like batches of 10-25+ people posting they got charged and soon had a label alert too.

could it be that they're shipping you a 6 ?

I sent an email to Legere yesterday complaining about the process. I got a phone call today from a very nice CSR that credited my account for 200$ and assure me that I will get both of my JoD orders (6s 64 Gb and 6s+ 64 Gb space gray) on 09/25. T-mobile really rocks!

JOD or Jump people-

What do you see under your "Lease details" section of your account? Mine is showing as completed (which it's obviously not)... I moved from Jump to JOD.

I think that's possible. Also, I was thinking that it could be whatever packaging I send my current 6 back to them in. Maybe they send me that box and then I package it up and send it back? This is my first time using JUMP.

I'm a new T-Mo customer that's switching over from AT&T, but my understanding is that you'll receive a white bag with your new iPhone and that white bag is what you put your old phone into....so I don't think you're getting that particular package separately.

Well folks, here's the deal. It's entirely possible that T-Mobile already has their inventory and they are creating shipping labels/preparing for shipment in advance, but the item still won't be picked up by UPS until next week. In other words, they are just leaning forward and getting the shipping paperwork done.

Thoughts?

Yep, they're definitely shipping me a 6 Plus as we speak! *sigh* This is going to be fun to clear up!

It's POSSIBLE but highly unlikely to me at least. They usually don't get anything from apple till closer to release. Like the 17th-19th would be the guesstimate I'd have to when they'd start getting the first batches of phones. They don't even officially tell carriers what they were getting in the huge shipments. Some were mixed variety, some were mostly a particular colour/size, etc. That's why last year Tmo had a hard time figuring out when people were getting their phones, they didn't know when apple was sending them what devices and which shipment. Plus he's the only one that has mentioned this. Its more probably they're sending him a 6 and not a 6s. If more people start getting charged/lables I'd say yay they're ahead of the game this year. BUT its Tmo lol

Wow. My two phone orders got screwed up pretty badly. I tried waiting it out and finally contacted T-Force support on twitter and they did a very good job helping me get my issues resolved. For my phone, they processed it as a new Jump on Demand rather than an upgrade to my current phone. That is why I got charged a down payment. Unfortunately, she had to cancel my order from Saturday morning (and I was the first one my rep spoke to) in order to fix it. She re-processed the order and I got $0 down for an upgrade from 16-64GB, free shipping. She assured me that I would not lose my place in line but I'm a little doubtful of that.

My wife's phone was ordered on the same phone call first thing when preorders went live. I never received and EIP email for her's. It turns out, her's was never actually processed and just fell into the T-mobile black hole. They re-processed her's from scratch and everything went through fine.

I'm disappointed that T-Mobile didn't have their online system for JoD ready to go for the iPhone launch. I'm frustrated that both of my orders got messed up. I know people make mistakes and servers go offline, but seeing the amount of people on here that had orders that were processed incorrectly is telling of their support training. On a positive side, T-Force support through Twitter was amazing and they handled my problems diligently and professionally. If the end result is that I save $100 each on the phones, then I guess it was worth it.
